I have degenerative disk disease, and have had issues with a LOT of mattresses, even the "amazing" TempurPedic. Purple has been hands-down, the best mattress I've ever had! My wife and I sleep close together most nights, but purple really distributes the weight well and it isn't sagging like many other mattresses do (even after 6 months). Very good mattress!

My wife and I are both side sleepers, and we both have medical issues that hinder our ability to sleep well. I purchased your mattress because I liked the concept. I have three herniated discs in three separate areas of my back, a damaged knee, problems with with hips and both shoulders. My wife has her own set of health related issues. We are both in our mid 50s, so all of these problems added up make sleeping more of a chore than something to look forward to. I am sad to report we are basically forced to return your mattress because of all of the reasons I mentioned. I think sleeping on our side takes away from the potential of what your design has to offer, and there is much more pressure on our bodies due to the smaller surface area being covered when laying down. I think you have a good product, and I am interested in purchasing your pillows and maybe even the seat cushion. While I am currently in the process of returning your mattress, I am impressed with your method of handling it.

I have had lower back pains and thought this matress would help, but instead it seems it has only increased back pain. I often sleep on my sides or back, often toss and turn because arm seems to fall asleep or lower back pain etc. Lately I have been using a pillow between my legs when on my side and that has seemed to help. One thing I do love is the cool feeling of the mattress and not being overheated although the purple silicon seems to also help with back pains so don't know of the trade offs there.

Not comfortable at all, gave me lower back aches. Had my brother try it, also wasn't able to sleep on it comfortably. I missed the return by 3 days from their 100 day policy. Disappointed for not keeping track of the days and for not having another option given like a partial refund or something.

My wife hurt her back in early 2016 and had everything done from MRI's to physical therapy and even acupuncture. She found out she had herniated two of her disks and the memory foam mattress we had did not support her back enough for her to sleep a full night and she would get up and sleep on the floor on her stomach and progressively moved to the floor all together. I didn't sleep in the same bed with my wife for 5 months. She was 6 feet away from me on the floor because of her back. Then I found Goldie Locks and her purple mattress. Ordered it on a Wednesday and it was on my porch at 8am the next day. (We live in Salt Lake and the purple factory is only 20 min by freeway.) She has been able to get up off the floor and back in bed and has been able to average 6 plus hours of sleep a night (not withstanding our 3 year old) and has been able to heal more because of it. Thank you Purple mattress for giving my wife the needed sleep and support she needed... and my sanity back. As they say Happy wife... Happy life.

I cannot express how much this mattress has changed my life! I had no idea that you could actually be comfortable in your bed! We had been sleeping on an older coil spring mattress with a memory foam topper. I thought that was as good as it was going to get. I suffered from hip, back and shoulder pain, as well as stomach issues on that bed. The first time I layer on the purple mattress, I noticed how it hugs all of the curves on your body, but you don't sink into it like a memory foam bed. So you get support and comfort all at once. I did have about a 3 day adjustment period where I experienced some upper back pain. My back had never been this supported before so it was a different kind of pain than I was used to. Yiu definitely feel some new pressure on yoir ribcage since the mattress hugs you. Now I sleep so comfortably, I remain in the same position all night. I was the queen of tossing and turning in my old bed! I can also report that I no longer have the stomach issues I had in my old bed. I would buy this mattress again in a heartbeat!!

I've had back and neck problems for YEARS. I've had several different levels of firmness that never helped because it always seemed like it was forcing my spine to form to it rather than the bed forming to my body. The first night on the Purple was the first night in months that I slept through the night without waking and woke up feeling refreshed. Since buying the Purple, even my Chiropractor has noticed a difference of how easy my spine is to adjust.

OK so the whole shipping experience was a joke and a nightmare. Once all set up after a 2 week process the bed its self takes some time to get use to. Im actually still adjusting. Its weird and my back actually hurts more. They keep telling me it takes some time but we will see. I have had a few good nights sleep and that gave me hope that this will turn out like its suppose to however only time will tell. We will see what happens but so far not impressed. Reminds me of a normal matress

I've been sleeping on my new twin for a a couple weeks, it's a great difference from my older twin mattress of 16(?) years. I wanted to get a queen, but with all the accessories (sheets, pillows, and mattress cover) it quickly put that desire out of reach for financial reasons since the three or four-inch techy stuff exacerbate the price. This mattress with the two-inch tech definitely doesn't add to your chronic pain but it doesn't cure it and falls into a firmness with appealing give category as opposed to just being soft with give. I work in a coffee shop and am a portrait artist/illustrator so the demands for movement and stillness come with pain in all areas. I keep my apartment at 68 degrees at all times, but if I don't have the fan running I will overheat in my mid-section or feet if I have a blanket over the sheets. Overall, I am satisfied and will buy again.

I've had this mattress for a year, and I wake up every morning so happy that I bought this mattress! I tell everyone I know who is looking for a new mattress to give purple a serious look. I think I've sold at least 3. I couldn't be happier with this bed!
