...but so far it's been great. A mattress is a long term relationship though so what really matters is how I feel after a few months. So far I really do love it, but I was sleeping on garbage before. Trust me, I'll edit this review later if my opinion changes.

We're about a month into our new mattress, and still love it. It's a great combo of squishy and firm, and it's really comfortable. The only drawbacks are 1) it's a lot lower than our old mattress, so it took some getting used to, and we may still put a boxspring or something under it to raise it a little. 2) This might not be a drawback for many people, but it's kind of wrecked naps for me; I fall asleep so deeply getting up after 20-30 minutes is realllly hard. We're definitely happy we bought it though!

I really tried to make it work with the mattress, but I continuously woke up with shoulder pain on both sides. Note: I am a petite sized person. I tried to return or at least exchange it, but I was past my 100 night trial and the returns department were really strict. So, if you're ever having doubts, don't delay!! I am an essential healthcare worker and I delayed because the last thing I was thinking about was how uncomfortable I am!! This is not a priority for me, so I delayed and pushed it back until I kept waking up to sore and stiff shoulders. These two stars basically go to the person that was assisting me, Diana. She really tried to negotiate and ask the returns department to at least give me an exchange, but they wouldn't budge because I was a few weeks over my 100 night trial. I'm pretty disappointed only because I just wish they understood the times right now and would just show a little leeway for its customers. Thumbs down, in my experience.

We love this mattress so much that when my partners teen sister moved in with us, we gave her our queen purple bed & bought ourselves a new king sized one. Can't recommend it enough for people with back pain who also sleep really hot. It's a life saver. My partner no longer wakes up in a pool of sweat, but I can still sleep snuggled up in blankets. Neither of us has to compromise! Anyway, these are worth it. I recommend purple to anyone shopping for a mattress now.

Back problems 100% have disappeared since sleeping on the Purple. The only thing to note is that this mattress is definitely a lot more firm than the original Purple mattress. It feels less squishy and more molding. No complaints. By far the deepest nights of sleep I've ever had.

We had high expectations in hopes to find the perfect mattress. However, this mattress did not meet our sleeping expectations. We used it for 31 days, and finally had to put our old mattress back on our bed. Our backs kept getting worse. I'm a side sleeper, and my wife is a stomach sleeper, and we kept waking up to sore backs, necks, shoulder blades. The mattress itself seems to be be good quaility, and service up front was top notch. I'll be calling Purple tomorrow to send the mattress back, and I'll let you know how that goes. Were hopefully the back service is just as good as the front end service.

Well I have a dog so she chewed through the mattress protector within the two days that we had it and she also chewed through the top of the mattress itself within two weeks of us having it. But obviously that's not the purples fault. I'm giving 3 stars because I wake up sweating every morning and I bought it because the review said I wouldn't do that.

We have been to the purple showroom in Lehi a couple different times and have had an over the top great experience there. The manager helped us both times and she is the nicest, most helpful and positive! We loved the pillows we purchased the first time, so I went back to buy another one and got some seat cushions (AMAZING) as well. We will be back to purchase pillows for our children because they keep trying to take ours. Purple products are fabulous and the customer service has been the best!

I left 5 stars for the mattress itself in this review. It is possibly the most comfortable mattress I've ever slept on. It was relatively easy to unpack. However, the awesome comfort of the mattress is being great hindered by the medieval torture device known as the Purple platform. I can feel all of the cage's grid being jammed into my back and side. I don't care if sumo wrestlers can wrestle on it. I dare one of them to sleep on it without waking up in pain. Therefore, I plan on replacing it with something better in the near future. In conclusion, like I said before, the mattress is simply the best on the market for the price.

I bought a Purple 2 a couple of months ago and it just didn't work. My wife kept on getting hip pains. We went on vacation and she had no issues with standard hotel mattresses so it was the Purple2. So it is going back. However the return policy is great.
