We have had this mattress for almost a year. We tried to return it within the 100 days, but they didn't have a way to pick it up so it was up to us to donate it to get the refund. We couldn't find anyone anywhere that would take it, so the 100 days came and went and now we are stuck with it. I had never experienced back pain from a mattress until I slept on this one. It makes my lower back and ribs hurt so bad that it wakes me every single night even after months of use. When I get out of this bed my feet are tingly and it doesn't seem to matter what position I lay in, so I can only imagine the damage this mattress is doing to my spine.

Having fibromyalgia and rheumatoid arthritis and making the switch to a purple mattress is the best thing I've done in a while for my sleep. Also having a partner that's a heavy sleeper who toss an turns and constantly causing you to wake up has got better also. You really don't notice how much movement someone feels in a regular mattress when someone gets in and out of bed until you change. I can finally sleep and not feel like I got beat up the night before. Love this mattress!!

Purple oh Purple, how you help us sleep! I did my mattress research off and on for almost 2 years, and landing on Purple was one of the best decisions I've ever made for my family - aka my boyfriend & our two cats. The unboxing, the building, the softness, the comfortability... all of it is easy and amazing! Our cats are OBSESSED with how it gives. They can play on top and underneath the Purple frame, which they love. I've gotten some of the best sleep I've ever had and my boyfriend praises my decision. Go with Purple, people! Go with Purple!!!!!!!

The original is not for 250+ pound side sleepers. I wore my hip area down. I Purple stood behind their product and warranty replaced it. I never opened the new one though. I really would like to swap it and the difference in price for want I really need a Purple 4.

I have been sleeping on this bed for about 60-70 days now. I have tried many different sleeping positions and different pillows to attempt to adjust and I'm just not getting used to the bed. I think the bed does not have enough support my weight is 180lbs. I still have my old bed and the support on the old bed is good. When I sleep on the old bed I can feel the difference in relief in the morning. I may return this bed since I'm unhappy with the results

The mattress was initially great. I started have back aches sleeping on the same side I always sleep on. Not sure but either the mattress wore where it no longer supports me as it should or a year of side sleeping on a mattress that is quite terrible for side sleeping is finally taking its toll. Could also be the purple pillows. They are not high enough for side sleeping.

I read so many reviews about mattresses before buying the purple, and was worried about the month long adjustment period, and reviews about sleeping hot, etc. etc. etc. I've had the mattress for about 2 months now, and can honestly say that I have never slept better. I'm 5'9" and 160lbs and my partner is 6'4" and 220lbs. I'm a side sleeper, and he is a back sleeper and we both couldn't be happier.

This may be the second or third review I've ever left for any product ever but my wife and I's experience with Purple warranted a review. I'll keep it short. Spend the money and get everything you can from this company. My wife and I travel a lot and have always talked about how we wish our home mattress felt like the super plush and comfy mattresses of the hotels we stay at. Not anymore. Now when we travel, we find ourselves wishing we could take our Purple mattress with us. Again, just spend the money and get it. I can be very critical of products but I've been nothing but happy with Purple. Do it!!!

During the first 100 nights it was honestly really nice to sleep in but now my back, sides and neck are killing me. DAILY. I honestly hate to sleep now and I can't afford to just throw the bed away now. I'm actually really really sad about it. I really wish I could finally sleep comfortably. It was the new Purple Bed "2" I guess I should have gotten the old one.

This is my third mattress purchased from Purple. By far the best mattress I've ever owned. This time we decided to upgrade to one of the newer models. With the upgraded model in home delivery was part of the deal. If I knew that in home delivery was them dropping the mattress off in my foyer and leaving I wouldn't have paid 2600 for the mattress. The delivery guys refused to even carry it into my room. So if your planning on buying the best mattress on the planet be prepared to drag it in and set it up yourself.
