Our old mattress was the worst. It creaked and moaned at the slightest movement. It was so loud, when I would switch sides while sleeping the creaking would wake me up!! We would wake up when the other got out of bed. Not only that, it sagged in the middle and my husband and I would fight to stay apart and not roll into eachother. Lastly, the lack of support caused so much pain I could barely move when I got up. My muscles would be so tight, it literally hurt my chest to breathe. (And can I mention we are only 22 and 23!) So yes, the mattress needed to go. I saw an ad for Purple on FB and talked my husband into it. We are total opposites, so I was nervous how it would work out because he likes softer beds and Iike firmer and getting both of us to agree things like this can be a challenge. From the 1st night we both have slept like babies! No more pain, no more rolling into eachother, no more waking up from the other moving and getting out of bed. It really is soft but firm and has an awesome bounce to it. You also don't FEEL the other persons movement which is great. We got a king so the dog could sleep in bed.... couldn't help myself!! My only complaint is that I oversleep now! Haha and don't want to get out of it in the morning because it genuinely is so comfortable. And it is actually affordable. Thanks Purple! You rock.

My husband and I had a hard time deciding between Purple and Casper. We ultimately decided to try purple first and Casper if we had any qualms. After a couple of weeks with Purple, my husband (who prefers sitting up in bed and reading before going to sleep) had difficulty getting used to lounging on the mattress. We decided to order Casper before returning our Purple and give it a try. After a single night in Casper we both knew purple was the way to go! I woke up the morning after trying Casper with neck pain I hadn't thought about since we got the Purple. It's definitely the best mattress for a good night sleep / amazing body alignment while lying down. Sitting up is a bit problematic because you just sort of sink down. Also, when one of our little guys makes their way into our bed throughout the night, one of us gets pushed to an edge and I've almost rolled off the soft edge more than once. That probably could be solved if we had gotten a king vs a queen or if we sleep train our children better but none of that really matters when you consider how good this bed makes you feel - especially as a side sleeper! I'm in my early 30s and I had way more hip/back pain from side sleeping on our previous (awful) mattress and I would spend the money on this mattress over and over again purely for the relief it has brought my aches and pains.

It seems to have helped with my Sciatica which has caused difficulty sleeping. I am a senior citizen and retired. My sleep hours depend greatly on what I want to do in the evening. When I am sleepy, I seem to sink into the Purple mattress and go soundly asleep and I do not wake up except to go to the bathroom. I am satisfied with my new mattress.

I have the Purple Mattress Queen and expected it to be firmer. Still giving it a chance and trying to be in less pain when I wake up. I have a bad back and arthritis, and when I wake up, I hurt from shoulders down, but better after shower. It makes me sad for the money I paid for it. My daughter has an Original and that's what persuaded me. She suggests that I send back. We will see as I am trying to force myself to like it and be comfy.

My Wife and I had the AIR mattress for 18 years. When we decided to go out and look , WOW !! the world had changed at the AIR mattress store !!! The price was now three times more!! and the only thing you are getting, is MORE, and MORE HOT foam !!! for more, and more $$$$$$. The thicker the mattress, the higher the price !! So , I started to do some research and I found PURPLE. I am so glad I did !!! I am in the world of science and so, this company fascinated me from the start!! We got our PURPLE on Aug.23 and we have loved every sleeping hour on it. My Wife has a very difficult time falling and staying a sleep. She has NOT had one sleepless night on PURPLE. Two of my Son's are also ordering a PURPLE for their homes. A great night's sleep for me and my wallet !!! In our case we had zero night's adapting to the mattress. Great product, great innovation , in mattress technology. Trust the science and physics , not the expensive commercials , that by the way, you are paying for, when you buy the other mattress !!!

I got this matress couple weeks ago. So far we like it. Our old matress was starting giving up backpain, shoulder pain, and hips pain as well. The purple matress helps us very much, within few weeks our backpain, hips pain, and shoulders pain are starting to disappeared. We love it. My concern is I found that it's very hot and I've been sweating more with purple matress. We did purchased the matress cover and I don't know why I'm sweating more than I normally do with this matters. It says that it should give more cool in a hot summer day, but I didn't feel that way. I have the breathable sheet, but it doesn't help. Overall, I like the mattress and it is very comfortable as supporting our body.

Might be one of the worst mattresses I've ever slept on. I'm a side sleeper with shoulder pain so when I saw the commercials with the egg drop test I thought this was mattress I've been looking for. Nope. Way too firm, and way too stingy on the patented purple gel layer, especially for the hefty price tag on their most basic model. It's a shame too because I've been saving up for this mattress for years. Hopefully the return process is better than my sleep has been these last few weeks.

It is still pretty new and if I had it to do over again I may have gone with a different mattress. The reason is because we bought this mattress for a second home where we do not sleep every night. I bought it with a very strong recommendation form a friend and may should have done a little more research to find out that it the mattress needs maybe 30 nights consecutive to adapt to your body and really feel its very best. So far, it has been a little firmer than I may have wanted and much firmer than my wife prefers. I have slept on it about 7 out of the last 20 nights and I am starting to like it more and feel that it will continue to get better. My wife agrees that it is getting more comfortable too. The reason I am not happier is because my friend that referred us said it was the best decision they had made all year and something they absolutely loved, so we had some serious expectations. It is a good product and I am hopeful that as the nights go on that we will sink in more and more to a really comfortable nights sleep.

I was skeptical but only because I could not try it but with their risk-free trial and the doorstep delivery I felt safe . So happy I did. I love, love, love, this mattress! It's better than anything I have ever bought in any store. super happy, and well rested. I look forward to going to bed again!

I like my new bed a lot. I am not waking up in a memory foam divot anymore. I stop by and feel those beds at the store to remind me why I chose Purple. I had hoped for miracles, but I am happy with just reality. I do still hurt when I get up in the morning. But! My chronic pain was bad enough that we had no expectation of improvement. So, using that as the scale, the change in my pain level is enormous! I wake up much more refreshed. I do not wake up multiple times in the night. The pain is not waking me up! I sleep through the whole night. That, all on its own is HUGE.
