I would not recommend this mattress! I developed an ache in my knee and hip since sleeping on it. It has gotten the point that I feel like I need to go to the doctor. Then I started sleeping on my very old traditional mattress and the pain has lessened. I called to return it but am outside the 100 days -- the only solution was to look at the blog and buy their sheets. I am so disappointed and frustrated. I guess I will be throwing out the mattress soon. Hope a garbage picker does not pick it up.

Mattress was different at first but after a night or two I adjusted. Been sleeping much better than I have in years. Most of my lower back pain is gone. It's a different sensation , almost like I'm laying on nothing , but something at the same time . Always been a hot sleeper and I cant believe how cool the mattress and sheets are! Hoping to try a pillow out soon.

I do like the bed but it's slightly too firm for me as a side sleeper so it doesn't support my midsection much. However as someone with a history of back issues I don't wake up with with serious back pain. Pain is still there but significantly less than my sealy posturepedic.

Well to be honest I was so hoping this mattress was going to be the answer to my prayers but alas it is not. My sciatic pain is worse now then it was before I received my purple. I cannot find a position of comfort, can't lie on my side, nor my back and honestly if I don't get a decent nights sleep soon I'm going to scream. Not really loving my experience and yes I have given it the appropriate amount of time. Help me please Warmest Regards Maureen Wertz

Before upgrading to PURPLE I was using your standard memory foam mattress for the past 10 years. In my years of experience, memory foam tends to hold a lot of body heat, and I mention this because I sleep hot. Also, memory foam eventually breaks and gives eventually making "dips" or "ruts" in the area of the bed you sleep most. After many arduous hours of research before investing in a mattress I kept coming back to PURPLE's website. PURPLE is the only company that has the unique purple grid where is everyone else is based off of different types of ways using memory foam. In the end though it's all still memory foam. After reading the reviews and watching enough videos I was sold on the PURPLE mattress especially after learning that these mattresses sleep cool and "breathe". Also, I would like to mention this. All my life I've used two pillows to try and find that perfect comfort level, but could never really achieve it. I purchased the Harmony pillow 7.5", and it is the perfect height and is so amazingly comfortable. Additionally, I purchased the purple stretch sheets and gravity blanket. All in all every bit of technology and comfort Purple has sent to my house has been phenomenal. This is the stuff dreams are made of!!!

The first time I layed down in the bed I immediately wanted to go to sleep. I'm used to sitting in bed for 30 minutes waiting to fall asleep but on the Purple Mattress, I caught myself falling asleep in less than 5 minutes. I was shocked to see how easy it was to fall asleep. This bed is perfect. My girlfriend and I have completely different bed softness preferences but we both love the Purple Mattress. I'm so glad I bought it.

I bought the Purple Mattress. I was pretty nervous about buying such an expensive mattress but, I have to say it is totally worth it!! I am a stomach and side sleeper and the purple mattress is amazing! I wasn't sure if the first one was going to be the right one. It is perfect. If you sleep on your back, the first version might not be the one for you but, it is still really good for that. It is just not as good as sleeping on your side or stomach. I used to wake up sore and stiff. I wake up now instantly ready for the day, not hurting at all! I will definitely buy another one once this one dies. Totally worth the money!!

Everything about the whole process was amazing. Customer service was helpful, the mattress came in time and the bed is just amazing. I sleep so deeply now it's not even funny. My only question is how would I be able to move it if I move lol. The mattress has no rigid shape it will be interesting to try and move it somewhere else lol

The Twin XL mattress isn't just for kids! (I'm 33) My old Full size spring mattress wasn't giving me enough support so I downgraded the mattress size (price was definitely a factor) and I couldn't be happier with my new Purple mattress! I fall asleep quickly and stay asleep all night with minimal pain and stiffness in the mornings. Very happy with my purchase!

The first time I saw the Purple commercials, I thought they were a fun marketing idea, but what caught my attention was the science behind the mattress design. Having back and pressure point issues, I ordered the King-size Purple mattress. It is outstanding! For the first time in over a decade, I am able to sleep through the night. No more tossing and turning when the pain from my back or pressure points on my sides hurt to the extent that I wake up and have to reposition myself in order to go back to sleep. My husband was not excited about getting the Purple mattress, but after his first night's sleep on the Purple, he woke up amazed at the improvement. He. too, has back issues, and he couldn't believe the difference the Purple made in his quality of sleep. He's been very vocal about what a great mattress it is. One of our sons needed a new mattress. After hearing what we had to say about our Purple, he also ordered one. He, too, has the same results.
