We have used this mattress for about 3 weeks. Back pain and stiffness are gone for both of us, and my husband doesn't wake up hot or sweaty. My husband has asthma and is allergic to everything, so I was a bit concerned about all the fuss people were making over the white powder issue. Honestly, I took the top cover off, got a black t-shirt and bounced around for a while to see if any residue came up. Nothing showed up on the t-shirt. Still, better safe than sorry so I got out the vacuum and vacuumed the mattress to get as much of the powder off as I could. Then, I put the cover bag on and vacuumed again. Just like I have done with every mattress we have owned for 20+ years. I think the people that are freaking out over the powder are the same type of people that believe that fluoride in the drinking water will kill you and that vaccines are poison.

I use to sleep walk at night and would rack up the steps on my Fitbit. Sometimes I would even wake up to the dishes being done. Not anymore. I now wake up in the same position I fell asleep in, completely well rested, but without feeling achy in the slightest. Give in. Give your body this mattress. And hire a maid when you stop sleep walking.

I had my old pillow top bed for just about ten years. For over the last year is been hirriblevto sleep on with two people because I would always roll towards the dip in the middle. You can't flip a pillow top bed! I finally had enough bad nights and decided to try PURPLE after watching the Goldilocks commercial. Great marketing by the way because it sucked me in! I've had the bed now for over two months and haven't slept better. It's even better that I expected the first night I had it and slept through my alarm. I haven't done that in years!

I look forward to getting into bed each night now. I fall asleep without the aches and pains I was accustomed to with my old mattress. My partner is a sleeper who is a little stove when he sleeps and would mention about how hot he would be with the old mattress. He says its the oddest feeling to be the right temp and not feel like the bed radiates heat back at him. I was a "alligator" sleeper. I would spin, fidget and always look for a comfortable position. Now the only time I seem to change positions is if I wake up as I usually do in the middle of the night (out of habit not relating to the bed) and when I fall asleep I wake up in the same position. I tell everyone my experiences and when friends come over and try the bed they instantly love it. Some have come to hate their mattress ... oops ;) Thank you Purple for giving rest back to restless!

We got the purple 4 over a year ago. Best purchase we have ever made! We are so spoiled, any time we are away we wish we were in our purple, wish we could take it with us. Husband had problems sleeping, arm going numb, my back hurt. Not anymore we feel fantastic. I purchased the plush pillows, mattress cover and an extra set of sheets. All are wonderful. I have recommended this mattress and the pillows to many people that complain of bad sleep. I can not say enough good. If I could afford it I would buy one for all my family. Thank you!

Ever since I first sat upon my sister's Purple mattress, I have always wanted one. I have not owned one myself for very long but I would not trade this mattress for any other. I have had much better quality sleep since I have gotten it and my partner loves how I don't wake her up any more when I come to bed after her. We had a little problem with the delivery of the sheets we ordered with the mattress but when I notified Purple about the issue they were on it with speed and precision. I have been telling everyone I know about how much I enjoy my new mattress and look forward to getting another in the future.

I bought a purple mattress about a year ago, and my husband just loved it. He's a late night early morning person. The morning after his first night sleeping on the purple mattress, he didn't get up by the time I was ready for work. When I got home from work I asked him why he slept so late and he said, "that d___ mattress didn't want to let go of minut head!". I just bought a second people mattress and gave it to my daughter and son in law. My son in law overslept by for hours. He was supposed to be at work at eight my daughter called him at 12 and he was still sleeping!!!! Every person who lay on the people mattress didn't want to get up!!!! I'm going to have to get ME another purple mattress as soon as I finish paying the one I just bought, which will be in six months I also love the sheets. It's like being wrapped in a cloud. It's so soft and keeps me warm on cod nights and it's still cool during summer. .

I definitely sleep more comfortably and sink into pressure points on this than I did on my previous mattress. You can feel the top layer grid when you glide your hand on it, which is a little strange at first, but doesn't affect comfort when you're lying down at all. Only small gripe is that the mattress is an inch or two wider than a typical queen - which you'd think is a good thing, but it means that fitted sheet options are more limited because if it's not large enough it will be pulled too tight, which keeps you from sinking in at those pressure points. I had to put a different sheet on mine. (Perhaps Purple does this intentionally to drive up sales of their sheets?) Anyway, it's a great mattress and I definitely recommend.

I am a side/ back sleeper and my husband is a stomach sleeper so it has been difficult to find a mattress that we both like. We both LOVE our Purple Mattress! And, I can't promise that this will happen for everyone, but my husband snores WAY less now, and when he does it's quieter/softer. It has to be the mattress because nothing else has changed recently! I already have trouble falling asleep, and his loud obnoxious snoring would always start right when I'm ready to finally fall asleep, but not anymore!

The mattress started out comfortable and progressively became stiffer to the degree that we are now using it with a foam mattress topper just to get some sleep which defeats the whole purpose. Hopefully it softens up over time but it's not looking likely!
