A gift for my son Joint disorder and other health issues Loves it Sleeps longer periods of time He's the youngest of five and never got the New mattress This year for his birthday I gave him Purple, his first new mattress Now the 50 year old sleeps like a baby. (Yes 50!)

I really do like this mattress, it's very comfortable, I like the springy-ness of the polymer layer, and my husband falls asleep in about 3 minutes every night. There was a slight smell for the first couple weeks, but it wasn't so bad that we couldn't sleep on it. My only issue is that I am basically cold blooded, and live in a drafty house in Michigan (and it's January). I'm COLD when I get in bed and have a hard time warming up. Since the mattress is "temperature neutral" it doesn't retain heat well, so I am looking in investing in a heated blanket (as I understand that a heated pad will negate the lovely squishy-ness of the purple layer). I'm hoping that this summer I will appreciate the temperature regulation more than I do now. :) I sleep on my side, and have to use a very thin pillow with this mattress, as a thicker one hurts my neck as I now sink into the mattress. I'm not sure how the purple pillow would alleviate this issue. My only other issue with the mattress is my own personal preference, this mattress is not very thick, and with only the frame and the mattress, it's pretty low to the floor. I enjoy having a higher bed, and this setup makes my room look like a college dorm, rather than a hotel.. Again, something fixable, and more my own decor preference. My only other beef in general is that I ordered the mattress and got a deal with the sheets for free ... well, they deserve to be free, I don't think they are very good sheets at all. They are so stretchy, that I would pull them up to cover myself and they would snap back towards the end of the bed! We ended up just using the fitted sheet, and keeping our regular flat sheet to cover up with. Also the sheets are so thin, they are basically see through, and you essentially HAVE to get the mattress protector (which we will be doing in the near future) if you want to stop anything from touching the mattress.

I've had my new queen for about 2 weeks now and love it! I definitely get a better nights sleep. I don't toss and turn anymore and wake up feeling like I've gotten a good nights sleep. I also don't wake up with an aching back or hips since I've switched to a purple mattress. Highly recommend!!

I really wanted to love this bed, but I don't. I'm a side sleeper and I was really hoping this bed would allow me to sleep on my side without my arm and hand falling asleep - well, it didn't work. I will be returning the bed, I hope the return process is hassle-free.

this mattress exceeded my expectations. We have had it for three weeks now and over the last couple of months I have experienced increased lower back and hip pain. I assumed it was due to an old mattress so I thought I would give Purple a try. By the first night of sleeping on the mattress I woke up with almost no discomfort and as the week progressed felt better and better. My sleep have gotten better and my wife has seen the same positive results! The added sheets are just as comfortable and worth including!

I have been searching for a great mattress and after a going thru a few foam and one air / number mattress I have finally found restful, thermally and pressure regulated sleep. I am very happy with the purchase and any future mattreses for my home will be the Purple kind. Every night on the mattress gets better. I also LOVE the sheets. I was skptical of them but after one night I know I mad the right choice with linens as well.

Buying online without feeling a bed in person requires a bit of a leap of faith, but I'm so glad I took the jump. I was coming from a Tempurpedic mattress and I feel that the Purple mattress is far superior. It's a unique feel (feels a little like you're floating on jello) but it is comfortable and supportive. If you're on the fence, do yourself a favor and get one.

This is the first time I've ever invested in a nice mattress for myself. I sleep best with a weighted blanket on top so I can easily get too hot. With this mattress I'm so much more comfortable on every level. It's amazing how temperature neutral it is. I like how it's soft under my pressure points but also feels firm. It's definitely unlike any other kind of mattress but that's what I was hoping for since I've never been that blown away by classic mattresses.

The first week was, wow this is nice. The the second week starts, both my wife and I start waking up with pain on our back. The the third week feels like the support went away! We are discussing the return option, it's just not as good as it first feel

With the purple mattress and harmony pillow I'm sleeping better than ever, took a few nights to keep from waking up after 3-4 hours fully rested. Standing on my feet for 8-10 hours a day doesn't effect my sleep anymore since I'm not turning in my sleep all night. I'd recommend the purple beds If you are looking for a new bed, I know the price can make you look elsewhere but the purple mesh is well worth the little price bump over normal memory foam beds that start sagging after a few weeks to months depending on body weight and if you stay in the same location each and every time.
