We have tried other non-traditional mattresses before and had to return them because they did not help our sleep. With Purple, we have had no problem. Only complaint I have is how heavy it is. Fortunately we are not moving it from one room to another! Overall, the original Purple mattress we bought, provides the support we need and also it is firm, but soft, if that makes any sense.

I love how my Purple mattress feels! It gives me Amazing quality rest & relief from severe neck/back pains that I suffer from due to an accident I was in 5 years ago that broke my neck in 4 vertebrae & 1 vertebra in middle of my back. This is by far the Best mattress I've ever had or even laid on for that matter! I know now for sure that Purple is the Superior mattress brand!!

I really liked the mattress from the very beginning. It supported my whole entire body quite well, and I tend to fall asleep on it within a couple of minutes, which use to never happen. It was very easy for me to adjust to the feeling of mattress and I would definitely recommend this mattress to anyone who is looking for a new mattress, or is just looking to get an extremely good nights sleep.

Comfortable to sleep on, but a bit firmer than I expected from what I had read, and I perfer a little more softness. I also had to add a bunch of wood to my frame since the matress sunk between the slats, which was an unexpected added cost and effort to an already expensive matress.

Like many of you, you want the best bed for the buck. This bed was totally worth it. I loved it from day one to day 450+ of lovely sleep. I switched from a bob-o-pedic bed and thought that I would miss it and nothing else was better. Also had the sleep number bed, which is crap compared to the Purple Mattress. I needed a solution to my problems: degenerative disc issues, sacroiliac joint pain, and I am a side sleeper. So I need something for shoulder, spine and hip support. Now that I am in my third trimester of pregnancy, I can honestly say that I am sleeping as comfortable as a prego can sleep compared to the bobopedic mattress that I had with my first baby. My hubby, on the other hand, is a back sleeper and he loves going to bed. We both wake up with no pain and night of good rest. Our three year old won't sleep in her bed now, even during nap time because she loves our bed. I almost feel guilty for wanting to purchase a full-size mattress for her because she's a toddler. The only downside which really isn't a downside is how heavy this beast is. We have a king size mattress and its super heavy to move around. Thankfully we don't move our bed that often. I suggest finding the perfect location for it first and then unbagging it. The mattress cover and sheets are amazing. I would go all the way and get the whole set. We spend a huge chunk of our lives sleeping and investing in good sleep is totally worth it.

The platform base is SO squeeky it completely ruins the entire bed . They were great and sent me a new one , but it is just as squeeky. The mattress is so firm and I feel like I'm sleeping on a board. Haven't felt cozy or relaxed since I got it . Very disappointed since this was our 10 year anniversary purchase after sleeping on an awful bed for 10 years and now it's not any better

My wife and I are blown away with the comfort of this mattress. It's different for sure, and took a night or two to get used to, but now that we're used to it I can't imagine ever going back. What we didn't expect was also how QUIET it is! Without the creaky springs the mattress is completely silent. All in all we're totally happy with our purchase!

I'll be the first to admit that I was skeptical of the Purple mattress, but I was not disappointed. My wife and I LOVE our Purple mattress! My sleeping problem has always been pressure points. I have had trouble sleeping the last several years because I will find a comfortable position and fall asleep, only to wake up about 45 minutes later to roll over due to pain and discomfort at specific pressure areas. My wife has never had trouble sleeping until she became pregnant with our first. About halfway through the pregnancy, she could no longer sleep on her back and even her side was uncomfortable due to pressure on her hips and shoulders. After much research, we decided to give the Purple mattress a try. At first, I was a little disappointed because I imagined that the mattress would be super soft, but it is not. I think a better way to describe it is supportive. When you lay on it, the mattress only provides cushion to the areas with the most pressure. The rest of your body is supported. This was a fairly stark contrast to a standard mattress that provides some level of cushion to every part of your body. My wife (who was pregnant at the time) noticed an immediate improvement in her sleep. For me, it took a few days, but now I hate going even one night without my Purple mattress. We tried the 30 day challenge extended to us by Purple, which is to sleep on another mattress for a few nights after 30 consecutive nights of sleeping on the Purple mattress. This sealed the deal for us. We both woke up feeling achy and tired due to the poor sleep. Even though the other mattress we slept on was a good mattress that I have called "comfortable" prior to sleeping on my Purple mattress, we are 100% sold on our Purple mattress and now that we have experienced it, we just can't go back. It is truly the miracle mattress! Although my discussion with pregnant women about their sleep is selective, the Purple mattress is the only mattress that I have ever heard of that a 38-week pregnant women slept on and woke up saying they had a good night's sleep. Like magic, Purple provides cushion where you need it as well as support everywhere else. We love our Purple!

One of the most comfortable beds I've slept on, the Purple has taken away a lot of my aches and pains from a repetitive stress injury on my right shoulder and back. I've been sleeping more peacefully since I've gotten the Purple. I've recommended it to many folks because it's been the most comfortable bed. Thanks for making an excellent product!

I love my purple bed. I think of how I used to wake up and feel like a truck ran me over - now I wake up and feel wonderful. With Purple's awesome jelly goodness a truck could probably run over me now and I'd just sink right and and keep on sleeping. It is awesome. My mother-in-law came and watched our kids and spent a week sacked out in our purple bed and has been complaining about going back to her old mattress for the last month.
