I am EVER sending it back. This mattress is so incredible, I cannot say enough. It's only been three nights, but each day I dream about the mattress and think about it until I can get back into it and snuggle in. My husband has had years of back pain, and in the last three days he cannot stop talking about how much better his back feels every day. He continues to feel improvement. We didn't think our last mattress was "that bad." The customer service is fantastic. The shipping was wicked fast (and yes, we live in Alaska, so we paid a little extra for the shipping, but well worth it), and our little short, amazing mailman hustled that sucker up to our front porch on his own. My husband managed to get it upstairs, but it is wicked heavy, so they are right when they say to get a friend to help you carry it. We opened it completely the wrong way because we didn't watch the starter video, but it was still perfectly doable, we just made it harder on ourselves. Haha. The mattress rolled right out, fluffed up, and we were sleeping on it within two hours. The bed does not smell all chemically, and it's so so comfortable, I cannot tell you enough. You must try this bed. I want to become a franchise or something up here, because it's so much better than the sleep numbers we tried. Incredible. GET. THIS. BED.

When I got this mattress I was very hopeful that it would work for me. I've had lower back pain for about 8 years now and I thought that this mattress might help, but I don't think that is the case, I'm still young (~20's) so I haven't exactly figured out what I need from a mattress yet, but this I believe that the stresspoints on my back are better distributed, but the mattress seems to be encouraging a parabola type shape that feels comfortable but has me waking up with increased pain. I was in the midst of moving when I bought this mattress at the end of May and just started using it at the beginning of July, but at this point I think I'll have to return it. If you're considering the mattress and have chronic lower back pain, it might not be for you. The purple pillow (which I've had for years) is absolutely the best product they have in my opinion and has helped my sleep immensely.

Save yourself a lot of time, money and effort and avoid this mattress and protector. Anything you spill on it goes right into the mattress and is impossible to clean. My cat decided he didn't feel well and peed on the bed. If you have kids, forget it. They will destroy it. It's really just a flimsy rubber grid that gets weaker over time. Mine is on the floor so you can't blame it on the frame. I used the flor so I didn't risk destroying my super expensive king size piece of purple rubber. I like the idea of supporting US jobs, but this product is not worth it. I work hard for my money, too. After the first few months I just toss and turn all night and my lower back hurts.

I ordered the king size, original purple mattress this past summer. I only had it about 3 weeks before I started to notice my side of the bed started to sag and create a "divit" where I sleep. This was the main reason I got rid of my old bed, so I was a little annoyed that it didn't even make it the first month. I'm a relatively big guy (5'9'' but 230 lbs) but the website said this shouldn't be a problem. I was and am hesitant to call because this bed is so comfortable but I also spent a great deal of money on it ( I also bought the bed frame which is also great, and its height gives plenty of room for storing tubs of clothes) and I can only sleep on about 2 feet of the bed without the feeling that I am falling or leaning.

I have to admit, I was skeptical of this mattress... and in general, I'm anxious about making the wrong decision about big purchases such as a mattress... but I am in love and obsessed with this mattress and I recommend it to EVERYONE... the sheets too! Every time I get into bed now, I let out a huge sigh/exhale and just melt right in.

The purple mattress is a great mattress. It is well-made, my husband can get out of bed and I don't even feel the bed move, the bed is cool and the purple part of the mattress is extremely responsive. That said, my husband adjusted to the mattress and LOVES it, but I think the mattress is a bit too firm for my shoulders. After going the 30 days to fully adjust, the discomfort in my shoulders and back has not gone away. I have changed my pillow a couple of times, but I think the mattress is just too firm. I really want to love the mattress, my husband says it's the best sleep he's had in years, but the constant shoulder/neck pain which only started once we got the mattress is not fun. Definitely, try the mattress out! You might be like my husband and find it's the best sleep you've ever had.

The first couple weeks it was really hard to get comfortable and fall asleep. However, within the first week, for the first time I can remember, I awoke without back pain. My husband still is not in love with the mattress but he's finally used to it as well. It remains firm and cool. Overall, I'm pleased with this purchase.

Kudos on your crazy good marketing crew. They sold me the minute I saw your raw egg test ad. I had to have this bed, and I don't regret one penny. Never slept so good in my life. Everyone loves my purple! Can't wait to buy the sheets and pillows next!

We purchased the original Purple mattress. I was so excited, I told everyone! My husband and I both had terrible back pain and aches with our old mattress and had high hopes for our Purple. Initially it seemed fine. We stuck with it trying to get acclimated, but it seems around the 150-200 day mark we were right back to where we were with our old mattress. Sleep is so important and it's really disappointing that we invested in this product and are now stuck with a mattress that's supposed to be with us 10 years and we cannot find relief or comfort.

Tomorrow (09-SEPT) will be 2-weeks sleeping on our Purple Mattress - King / Original and it sleeps great. The purple grid properly cradles your body as advertised and helps alleviate pressure points on your body. My wife wasn't sure of my purchase at first,but is now a believer of the purple mattress in a bag...highly recommend.
