The buying and set up experience was easy. The mattress is very different - in a good way - and comfortable for me, but my wife isn't sold yet. I don't wake up in pain like I did with my old mattress, so that's good. We bought the mattress cover in case we decided to return the mattress, but it is very noisy and "crinkly". Will probably spend a few more nights on it before we decide whether to keep it or not.

This mattress has CHANGED my life! I have had a lot of issues with my sciatic nerve acting up in the past as well as chronic neck problems that produced headaches. Since using this mattress I went from waking up sore every morning to not wanting to leave my bed! This has done more than change how I sleep, it has improved my overall quality of life. I wake up happy and pain free and in turn I feel even more prepared to tackle my day. Thank you so much Purple for making a perfect product!!

I have had a bad back and muscle pain for many years. I have had a quality tempurpedic bed for the past 6 years. I bought the Purple mattress with the hope that it would be better than the mattress I already own. It was comparable. I have no problems with it but with it being about the same I intended to send it back with the 30 day guarantee. My 3 year old son took a nap on our bed and as fate would have it, wet on it. So... We are keeping the mattress! Now the mattress is very good quality. It was about 1/4 the price of our other mattress. If you are on a spring mattress or the like, buy this mattress - you will be very pleased. If you have a tempurpedic mattress already, well you might just love Purple more. That is my honest review...

Great mattress. I didn't realize how incredible it was until I took a two week airbnb stay on a terrible mattress, then came home and fell asleep in fifteen minutes. It's amazing when you're on it, and you can't help but hug it. The sheets just complete the deal. One piece of advice--even though there is no harmful off-gassing, there is a funky smell that stays in the vicinity for about five hours and gave me a headache. My brother wishes that you made mattresses for top bunks! I can't wait to try your other products and hope that soon I will be able to purchase some revolutionary sleeping bag once mine has been worn out. Fantastic!

I slept on the Purple Queen mattress for a week and it was very uncomfortable. I tried it with a mattress cover and without one. I tried it with different type sheets. It did sleep cool and it is a unique feeling mattress but I did not enjoy it. I have a Purple pillow and a Purple seat cushion. The cushion is good, I use it. The pillow is not comfortable. Customer Support is EXCELLENT and with no hassle

Years ago I saw the ad for the mattress protector. The squatches had me rolling. Clever advertising and new technology were I have always wanted a Purple, I knew they were a big investment. A month ago a friend had purchased a Purple and I had the chance to sit on hers. I loved it! Naturally, Affirm became an option and I jumped at the chance to get my own Purple through financing. I ordered the Cali King, sheets, and 2 Harmony pillows. JUST DO IT, GET THEM! I now sleep better than ever, and so does the husband! I should add the Customer Service Rep's at Purple were so kind with tracking my order! Would buy again!!! We are actually looking at cushions and jammies now!

I was very excited for the purple mattress as I had been sleeping on an old inherited spare bedroom mattress for a couple of years. I am a side sleeper and many mattresses are too firm to allow good alignment (I'm 5 ft 120lbs). I tried to push through the back pain but sadly now am dealing with pain throughout the day and have ended up sleeping on my couch (it's been about 90 days).

I have been excited for purchasing a purple for years! I recently made the purchase and full disclosure I am still a few days shy of the 30 day trial additionally I am a very overweight man. Usually a back sleeper I wake up most morning with stiffness and soreness in my lower back. My wife reports significant relief from back pain. I just sadly cannot say this was the experience I was looking for or expecting. It feels strange because for years I yearned for a purple, encouraged friends and family to explore it as a sleeping option. Bought purple pillows and bedding, etc.. but now I dont think I could reccomend them anymore.. Perhaps it is the specific purple mattress I bought (which was not one of the deluxes) but I caution people to be careful. Fortunately I have heard they have reasonably good customer service and that returns arent too difficult. So there is that. So I suppose I will see when the 30 days is over.

I had previously ordered, trialed, and returned a competitor's mattress. It was one that had a firm and soft side. My husband and I were uncertain of which we each preferred. We learned that we preferred soft and the soft side of that particular mattress was supposedly a 6 on the firm scale but felt firmer in my opinion. I finally decided I would try one more mattress before purchasing "the best of the best" of mattress which would have been an easy 5k. I'm so glad I did. I was leery of Purple's design and my husband is sooo picky! BUT we've used it for about 2 weeks or so without any complaints. No complaints is high praise from my husband. As for me, I was concerned about it not being a typical foam or coil mattress...I was hesitant because I wanted it to feel soft. I wouldn't classify the feel as soft, but it's certainly not firm to me... it seems to be just right. I guess it's what we never knew we needed. So if you're debating, I say give it a try! You've got nothing to lose.

We purchased everything they made at the time, except for the pillows. The mattress (Queen), Purple platform, mattress protector and the Purple sheet set. A great night's sleep every night. We love it. Looking forward to getting the pillows down the road.
