I'm a truck driver and I bought this mattress for my truck. I was having back pain from sleeping on a regular mattress and then tried memory foam. After sleeping on the purple mattress I have no back pain and sleep great every night. Highly recommend a purple mattress to anyone thinking of making the switch.

Both of us have back problems, and we were sleeping on a mattress that was 12 years old. So, we bought a new mattress from a reputable furniture store to help relieve the pressure and pain. It was not a good experience. It only increased the discomfort to the point that I slept on the old couch for a few nights. That is when we decided to do the right thing and buy a Purple mattress. From the first night sleeping to currently, we have slept comfortably and our back pain and discomfort has eased a great deal. Thank you!

At first the Purple Mattress felt a bit stiff. But after a few nights of sleeping on it... Wow!!! I wake up every morning refreshed, well rested and ready to get the day started. You can sleep in any position and the Purple Mattress does a great job supporting your body for peaceful sleep.

We love the bed - 100% amazingly better sleep. BUT, I was horrified with the amount of plastic and non-recyclable material that was used in the shipping process. In this day and age I hope you consider a more sustainable method to wrapping and shipping your beds. Additionally, do you offer a recycling / upcycling of your beds once they need replacing?

My wife and I have had this mattress for a month or so. It is incredibly good and aches and pains are disappearing day by day. I don't toss and turn in this bed as it distributes weight evenly. The pillow is a perfect match to the bed. My wife has kept her old pillow, but she steals it from me when I get up before her, so we will have to get another one soon. It's good for other activities besides sleeping as well.

I was extremely nervous buying a mattress online and not really being able to feel it or anything beforehand. But my husband and I were in DESPERATE need of a new mattress. After MONTHS of researching and reading and sending questions to people and countless YouTube videos, we made the decision to go with Purple. One of the best decisions we've ever made in our lives. I usually have an extremely hard time falling asleep due to insomnia, a bad rotator cuff and what I thought was an injured back for a long time. After the first night I got up and wa able to set my weenie dog on the floor with NO pain in my back. It took me a second before I realized what I had just done with no tears in my eyes and without having to stretch for like thirty minutes beforehand. My shoulder feels better as well! I used to wake up feeling so sore and in so much pain I dreaded going to bed every day. Now I find it hard to get out of bed just because I'm so dang comfortable. I have been singing the praises of this mattress to anyone that will listen, if you are on the fence I highly suggest this mattress. It is an absolute life changer.

I do recommend the mattress. It's fantastic. But unless you have the pillows to go with it the pain will remain. You'll forget about any lower back pain but you'll start to notice just how stiff your neck is after sleeping with a regular pillow. Bottom line. If you're ready for the insane comfort of the mattress be sure to budget for those pillows too otherwise you'll notice headaches and pain from the place that does not have the luxury of touching the purple technology.

I think the purple mattress is well made and so far I like it but its only been two weeks.The platform is great and easy to assemble. I did not care for the sheets because i prefer cotton sheets. I did not like the mattress cover because it felt like a plastic shower curtain.

I was skeptical at first of ordering the Purple mattress without trying it but I am so glad. I would usually wake up with lower back soreness when I turned or in the morning when I got up, but since sleeping on the Purple, I have felt no soreness!! This mattress is perfect for back sleepers or combo sleepers like me. Highly recommend

Do Not Upgrade to the new Purple series. My husband & I did the 100 day trial on the Original Purple. He really like it and I liked it too, but I wanted to LOVE it. Finally, as the days were running out on my trial period, I bit the bullet to return my Original Purple and buy the Purple 4 instead. Unfortunately there is NO trial period beyond the first mattress. I asked for even just 30 days and they said they couldn't. So I took a big risk, especially considering how expensive the new series is, and boy it Did Not Pay Off. I am waking up in agony on my new P4. I miss my Original Purple. It wasn't perfect but I wasn't crying; Yes I am crying now... looking at the next 10 years of my life sleeping on the P4. The gel layer is great, but 4 inches of it is way too squishy; not enough support. The coil base was supposed to be more supportive than the foam base AND the deeper gel grid was supposed to be less pressure on your joints when you side sleep. I have not found either to be true. The joint comfort/discomfort is the same, while back sleeping on the P4 is impossible. I really am devastated and implore all Original Purple owners to hold on to what you've got.
