We purchased a new bed from a local store last year. Within a couple of weeks the mattress had two grooves down each side. Because it was under warranty, we exchanged the bed for another brand but had the same problem. Then someone told us about the Purple Mattress so we checked it out. We have been sleeping on it now for about a month. We can't stop singing its praises!!! We have the consistent firmness that we need and the comfort that we love. We feel more rested after a night's sleep because we are not wiggling around all night trying to get comfortable. My wife even says I have stopped snoring!!! To begin, the shipping and arrival of the mattress was seamless. The bag it arrived in kept the mattress protected, and it expanded perfectly once opened (to my child's delight). There was a little odor and off-gassing the first 2 days. The real surprise was how firm this mattress is. I'm a side sleeper, which is why we purchased a Purple to begin with. The first few days my neck and hips were a bit sore because the mattress was so firm. However, after a week my body adjusted. I found that I needed to purchase a new pillow to help with the neck stiffness. This is definitely a firm, supportive mattress, and now that I've adjusted, I really like it. My husband sleeps on his back and loves the support.

I have chronic lower back pain after a laminectomy many years ago. I have tried multiple brands of mattresses with no relief of morning pain. I've got this purple mattress for over a month and it's really amazing the support it provides in any position. Extremely comfortable. I highly recommended it. I was eyeing the basic Purple mattress for years. I got their pillow as a gift years ago and I still love and use it. I finally bought this mattress and was worth everything I've heard and seen in their ads and videos. I might be way too comfortable as now I truly don't want to get out of bed, lol!

I thought it would be softer. And it has taken me a while to get used to it. With that being said I love it. It's not hot in the summer and it's not cold in the winter. Last night I almost slept flat on my stomach with no pillow. You sink in but it is firm so once you get used to it it's the best of both worlds.

I've been sleeping on the mattress for almost a month now. It's a lot more firm that I was anticipating. I've got both the Purple sheets and the bed liner, yet I'm finding that my shoulder and arm are a bit uncomfortable as I try to go to sleep. I've tried adjusting my position to accommodate but haven't been able to make any meaningful change. It's certainly better than the past it's prime pillow top mattress I had, but I don't consider the Purple all that comfortable.

I love the good nights sleep that I get. I would HIGHLY recommend purchasing the sheets that go with it. They really make a difference. The bed frame was super easy to put together. I would only change two things, imho.... First, send the order together so the items all come on the same day. I HATE waiting. Second, roll the mattress so that it unrolls on top of the bed frame the right way. Once the mattress is set free from the plastic, it's a MONSTER to try and flip over!!! With that said, on a lighter note... The purple substance that the mattress is made with reminded me of a toy that my kids had several decades ago. It was a ball that had many tentacles dangling from it and they would throw it against the wall. It would stick and slowly "crawl" down the wall. So, I took the sample I received, and threw it against the wall, and it did stick! I thought I recognized it! HA!

We bought a queen size Purple mattress years ago and we absolutely loved it. Both of us had back pain issues and they improved greatly for us both when we switched from a memory foam mattress to our Purple. Recently we decided we needed to upgrade to a king bed, because our new rescue pup got bigger than expected and is pretty resolute on the middle space between us being her preferred sleep spot! We knew for sure we would get another Purple because we loved our previous one so much.

I was anxiously awaiting delivery and wasn't let down when it arrived. I came from an old (14 years...) top of the line mattress, way plush but it left me achy sometimes especially after a lot of back break work. The feel at first was maybe this is too firm and then after I awoke the next morning was quite pleased to find work was cancelled for the day leaving me to tuck back in and enjoy this new upgrade.
