I'm giving 4 stars just because it wasn't shipped all together. I wish it would of came with free pillows or sheets. Besides that this bed is by far worth the price. We have been waking up feeling a lot more rested. No more tossing and turning to find a comfortable spot.

We have now had our 'Purple' since April 5th. Our previous mattress was a 'Simmons Beauty Rest Pillow Top King'. And it was nearly 14 years old. That 'Simmons mattress was awesome for about 9 or 10 years, but we were long over due for a new one. There is definitely an adjustment period for the 'Purple'. My wife slept great on it from the beginning, but since our last bed constantly hurt my hips or back, I think I'm now healing and adjusting. Each week it gets better and better to sleep on. Our dog (Husky/Lab mix) seems to sleep on our bed even more now since we got the 'Purple'. Easy setup, no smell, and great customer service. It took just under 4 weeks for delivery. Had to help the FedEx lady carry it. My hip doesn't hurt near as much, and my back is no longer sore in the morning.

I will say the mattress is a little more firm than I'd like at bedtime but when I fall asleep I stay asleep and when I wake I am not sure anywhere from sleeping. also when I wake the mattress is really comfortable so much that on my days off I sometimes just lay in bed for an hour after waking up reading books and what not.

We love our new Purple. Like any mattress, it takes a couple weeks to get used to, but once we did we are never going back! It is supportive for both my husband and I who have bad backs, but the purple layer also makes it comfortable at the same time. I would recommend getting a nice new pillow to make sure your neck is aligned properly with this mattress. It is amazing!

We bought this as twin xl for the wife to go next to my twin xl tuft and needle. She wanted softer then the original tuft we bought, so this is our version of a sleep number. She did need to put a pillow top on so she could sink into the bed a little more, but after that she loves it.

The purple bed is the best bed I've ever purchased. I have done everything from spring mattresses to memory foam (Tempurpedic and others) to waterbeds to air beds. The purple bed is the best I've had. It hasthe best combination of support and comfort I've ever experienced. for me it could have a little more purple topper or a softer top layer of memory foam to lend just a little more cushion. But as it is, it is hands down the best bed I've slept on.

I was chosen during sleep awareness week in March to win a free purple 3. I was chosen because I had an upcoming spinal fusion surgery ahead of me at that time. I received the bed first, then surgery a month later. I tried 5 different brands of online mattresses in 2018. None of them compare to my Purple 3. The bed changed my life. It saved my life after surgery. I am continuing to heal, and I know the bed has been a huge contributor. I am so lucky. I am so thankful to be chosen to win this bed. I will never buy anything else. Just kidding, I already have a great marriage! But the Purple bed sure has made it a lot of fun, *cough cough* no seriously, F.U.N. Okay for real; anticipating a night's sleep without pain, sheets that stretch and are very comfy, the glee of unpacking it all, a totally awesome platform that has TONS of storage space underneath it, and frankly, doesn't squeak each time I get out of bed. I'm eight months pregnant and I get up A LOT at night... A LOT. My sweet hubby no longer wakes-up or stirs every time I get up (you don't feel your sleeping partner tossing and turning (that would be me), that feature is so nice and a huge blessing.) We went with the Cali King and I sleep with a ridiculous amount of pillows - six feather pillows (I'd sleep with more if I could) - I wonder if I'm part bird because I have to build a nest each night to fall asleep.... Maybe counseling is necessary... Hummm, anyway.... Sleeping is my favorite past-time, always has been (no seriously, IT.IS.MY.FAVORITE.) and the Purple has only made it that much more enjoyable. Even though this-adorable-little-blood-sucking- parasite-in-my-belly-that-will-soon-be-a-perfect-bouncing-baby-boy has made sleep a little more challenging, I no longer have a sore hip or achy shoulders. I have been in love since the first night. My hubby has back issues and it has taken him a little longer to find relief from his back pain, but it is getting much better and he sleeps much sounder. (Again, he doesn't feel me getting up every hour.) We are very happy with our Purple purchase, we went with the Platform, Mattress, Sheets, and Mattress protector. As far as sleeping cool... I'm always hot so I was super excited about this feature. However, I'm not much cooler in a Purple (probably because I'm eight months prego, and we are using the mattress protector, and before marriage I slept with the window open and ceiling fan on high in the dead of winter). Hubby however, is very cool and needs an extra blanket. I did need to purchase an extra-long bed skirt, I went with 16 inches, it's one inch off the ground and that's the perfect length for the height of the platform. My little Jack Russel dog likes to hang out under the bed now, there's so much room! (I'm pretty sure the dog sleeps on the bed ALL.DAY.LONG while I'm at work. We should get a review from her!) My only complaint is that I wish the adjustable platform would have been available when we purchased a little over six weeks ago. We would have totally gone with that had we known.... My other whoa, my step-children like to hang out on it a little too much... sigh, it's the BEST! (No for real kids, go watch Studio C, it's my turn!) My next purchase from Purple will be a crib mattress It's not available yet, but I sure hope it comes around soon, (PLEASE PURPLE) little blood sucker will be joining the land of the living in just a few weeks and I want him (AND I) to sleep through the night and get the full benefits of the Purple products. My posture feels so much better since getting this bed. My sleep has improved ten fold. I actually feel like I have more energy throughout the day and get this, I'm a huge snorer and I stopped completely. My girlfriend thinks its due to the purple pillows. You used to hear me sleeping and now ya dont. Incredible!

I purchased several items from Purple recently including two purple harmony pillows, purple sheets, a purple mattress, and a weighted blanket. I felt like it was time to upgrade my mattress and was excited to learn about Purples technology as I am a side sleeper and would regularly wake up with shoulder and arms pains. I unwrapped my mattress and it was immediately ready for use. The Purple mattress is extremely comfortable and I wake up in the morning without any aches or pains.
