Cal king standard size is 72 wide and 84 long. The purple Cal king I got measured 72 wide and 80 long (at the bottom). In addition, the concave shape of the mattress makes the top of the mattress smaller, measuring 70 wide and 78 wide. This resulted having a gap of almost 6 inches at the top of the bed, pillows keep falling in that gap. I have notified purple and they have sent a new mattress, the new one is better but it still is 3 inches short. How is it possible that they have sent 2 defective beds in a row I have requested a refund.

I got the pillow recently because I have a stiff neck in the morning. I was hoping for a miracle cure, but I didn't find one. I think part of my problem is that I sleep with my hand under my pillow and that elevates it too much, but I can't really tell what's going on.

I used to suffer from lower back and sciatica, also neck pain but not anymore since I sleep on Purple! it's amazing how I saw lots of relief from the very first day of use! I don't know the science behind that but works perfectly!.. Thank you purple team for make my life during both awake and sleep hours more pleasant and happy

I love my mattress!! I'd been having shoulder pain and just couldn't get comfortable in my old bed. I sleep so great now!! I have chronic insomnia, and the mattress and pillow are helping me slowly lower my medicine dosage. The platform was easy to set up and the mattress is light which helps putting on sheets. I got the seat cushion and lumbar support for my dad and he says it's the best support for when he drives!!

Firstly allow me to tell you something about myself. I am 6'4 and about 265 pounds. I hurt my back last year and was told I had a bulging disc and a herniated disc. The pain was bad but my quality of life suffered most. We bought a new mattress and it was ok, but within 6 months it was saggy. then we tried another foam type mattress and it wasn't very good at dealing with my back. long story short I never could sleep without heavily medicating myself. and then mornings would be a trial of pain trying to get out of bed. Then....Purple. I had pretty much given up but I now sleep the night straight through and wake up with no back pain. Sure just living life means that by the end of the day my back is in a lot of pain but now with my purple mattress I wake up every morning with no pain. I would have easily paid twice as much for this level of support and pain relief. I will say that it took about 3 days to get used to sleeping on it, but after changing the way I sleep I found full night rest and painfree mornings. Thank you so much for this. you have literally changed my life for the better... and I mean Literally in the classic way...literally!

Bought purple mattress #2 at matttress firm advised by sales staff this would be great fit for me. I had previously purchased a box spring and mattress that was to firm so I went back to try again. I did explain I had Osteoporosis and slept on my side and I did spend a few hours there and went with their mattress that the saleswoman tecommended. Unfortunately I think it feels like sleeping on a board and wake up in pain most mornings. After speaking with mattress firm I am being charged again a pick up fee of $99. And a restocking fee of $150. And asked if I want to buy another mattress?? I asked for these fees to be waived but was told no. In reality I was told yesterday that was to firm a mattress for me and sorry your losing money never mind the inconvenience!! I would not recommend this mattress or this store. Thanx

I had a tempur pedic that was getting up there in age and was no longer giving me support. Went with purple this time around and its been great! Temperatures are still cool where I live but I'm confident the mattress will be better than the tempur pedic was in the summer months.

We love the bed! The only thing that could have been a problem was the delivery. My wife and I were able to get the mattresses into the bedroom but the split adjustable bases were so heavy. Seriously we thought that the delivery was to the bedroom but the driver would only take them to the door. If we had been any older we couldn't have been able to get them into our bedroom. I think it would be a good idea to mention that these are extremely heavy and only come to the front door. They really should have two strong delivery guys set up the bed. It would've made it so much nicer. We still love our new bed though.

For anyone that wakes up with pain from sleeping, this is the mattress for you. I would frequently wake up throughout the night and would wake feeling sluggish and exhausted. This mattress provides you with the comfort that your body deserves. I no longer wake up shoulder and back pain. I feel rested and rejuvenated. My only complaint is that I didn't buy this mattress sooner. I'm actually sad when I'm away from home because I know I won't be sleeping as soundly and as comfortably as I could be if I were on my purple mattress.

The mattress is for my adult children when they come to visit - I already have one myself What I was most appreciative of was that they sent 2 men who carried the very heavy mattress up the stairs to the 2nd floor and installed it for me. I have not slept on the bed myself because it is too low to the ground and I'm handicapped. But I love the one I already have and would never go back to any other kind of mattress!
