My partner saw your ad for Purple and asked me to watch the Goldilocks video with him. Snaps for a great video! I got a kick out of the very end where the set guys were running after her with towels as she cracked each of the eggs. I have to say I am pretty skeptical where it comes to products on the Internet. We've had our share of good - and bad - items. But being a scientist myself, I was impressed by the technology you used in the creation of the Purple mattress. So I agreed to try it. The mattress arrived within just a few days after purchasing it - well in advance of the estimated wait time given Purple's popularity. The way the mattress is packed with the purple wrapping was very helpful to prevent cutting the mattress during the first cut into the outer wrap. For the last several months I had been sleeping in the guest bed because of a herniated disk and the propensity to throw my back out. When I lay down on the Purple, it felt comfortable, sort of like floating in space. But the best part was when I awoke the next morning: Backache, goodbye! My back felt noticeably less sore than the day before. Over the next two days, my chronic backache all but disappeared. I had been thinking I might need another cortisone shot for my herniated disk, but after three days sleeping on Purple, I felt so much better - and have stayed without that chronic ache - that I don't need the cortisone. So you've turned an Internet product skeptic into a Purple believer!

I love my purple matress and pillow, I wish it was just a tad softer (though this may be because I'm used to memory matresses) but it's still great and I don't experience as much back pain anymore upon waking up. Only downside is that I'm so comfortable, it's harder getting out of bed in the morning!

I am a rural mail carrier. At the suggestion of my chiropractor (she had heard good things about it), I purchased the Queen Purple mattress and I am waking up with less back and neck aches (most often NONE) I also decided to purchase the seat cushion. The seat cushion arrived first and so I had the opportunity to try it out first! It sucked!..... when I forgot to bring it along!!! I LOVE IT...this cushion AND now mattress has made my life so much more enjoyable and do-able. Often when my 4 or 5 year old sneak into my bed at night, I don't even know it... bad part; they are getting away with it...good part; mommy is not getting disturbed and is getting better sleep at night. I don't feel them move around or even crawl onto the bed. Best purchases I think I've ever made!!!

It's really flat and I'm not used to that. I've slept with it for a month now sometimes still struggle I just wish it was thicker. It is comfortable once I'm asleep. I sleep on my side. And I've slept with a contoured pillow for years. I'm just used to more support.

Im well into my third week with the mattress and unfortunately its not working out for me. The bed feels comfortable when you lay down alone however with my partner and I both in the bed, you can feel every movement which is rough considering were both tossing and turning all night. We wake up with back pains and many nights end up on the couch half way through the night. We were really looking forward to this new mattress.

This changed my life in so many ways. I am recommend to family members all the time. Do yourself a favor, if you love yourself get a purple mattress. Your back will reward you. I'm getting my kids this mattress. My families future generations will have the straightest posture.

Our purple mattress is pretty good... My wife likes it more than I do, it is too soft for me. I had to put some extra support (3/4 inch plywood) under my half of the bed so I didn't sink in as deeply. I am 6 feet tall/220 lbs and without the extra support it was not comfortable at all. Now it is ok. One great thing about the mattress is that it does not seem to retain any heat at all. That is wonderful for a hot sleeper like me.

I'll start off with my reasons for needing a special mattress - I've had migraines regularly since I was in kindergarten, due to chronic muscle tension exacerbated by a nasty fall I took down a wooden staircase when I was 2. I've had back, neck, and shoulder pain for as long as I can remember. And over the past couple years I've been working to manage PTSD, which binds my muscles up extremely tightly, makes my body run hot (waking up soaked in sweat in the middle of the night - yuck), and makes it very difficult to sleep. The Purple mattress isn't a miracle - I don't spring out of bed every morning feeling perfect and sprightly. I still have mornings where I'm extremely stiff, and I always have to do an hour of yoga first thing to get myself ready to go out into the world. Sometimes I still lay in bed for a long time trying to get my muscles to release before I can sleep. However, the Purple mattress is the best mattress I've found for my needs. I may need to concentrate to get my muscles to release, but the Purple mattress provides exactly the right support my body needs to actually achieve that release. I don't wake up feeling perfect, but I definitely feel my best (and I notice a huge difference when I sleep in a different bed, and even expensive "regular" mattresses don't compare to my Purple). The stiffness I described is much milder with my Purple. Not only that, but the flexible grid that makes up the top few inches keeps me much cooler than any other mattress I've tried. Again, it's not perfect - there's only so much anything can do when your adrenaline's running haywire - but I wake up hot much less often, and toss and turn looking for cool spots way less as well. My only sort-of complaint is that, because of my small size (I'm 5'3", 120 lbs), I don't sink down into the Purple as much as I'd like to. However, I sink down enough that my Purple is actually really soothing for me if I need to crawl in when I'm having a panic attack or flashback episode. The "sinking in" feeling sort of cradles my body and makes me feel more secure and in much less pain, so I can concentrate on breathing and doing my processing exercises to move through the attacks more easily. Because the mattress contours to me, it's a very safe, comfortable, secure place to recenter myself. This goes the same for when I wake up panicking due to a nightmare - this mattress is welcoming enough that I don't usually have the intense need to get out of bed in those circumstances. So I get back to sleep faster (which in turn really helps with my day-to-day management). My migraines are way down, and so are the random muscle spasms I used to get periodically during the day. My pain overall is greatly diminished. Most people don't think about special mattress needs for PTSD, but this mattress has been an amazing addition to my management. Again - not a miracle. But it's definitely the best mattress I've found for my particular needs. Thank you, Purple!

The mattress is okay...im still a little unsettled that i paid so much for something im not sure i like. It also has a stain on it that i noticed after finally cutting it out of the air tight body bag it was sent in. I also purchased the bed frame which was not anything to write home about. Several broken welds and the framing is bent on every side.

My wife and I have slept in a Tempupedic for 13 years and have been very happy with it for the most part. It was time for a new mattress and we wanted to try something different. The Purple is awesome! It's so soft but supportive. It makes the Temperpedic bed seem hard and uncomfortable by comparison. There was practically no adjustment period as well. It has been excellent from the start. You can sort of feel the grid technology when you are on it but it's not an issue at all. I highly recommend this bed if you like or want to try memory foam.
