I've read that some people need time to adjust to the Purple mattress. That was not the case with my wife and I. We slept great on our first night with the Purple mattress. It is very comfortable when sleeping on my side or stomach. I can feel the way the mattress surrounds you the most when lying on my back if we're watching tv. My only problem is, I don't want to get out of bed. I'd highly recommend a Purple mattress.

Have had the original queen purple and it's alto more stiff than I was expecting.from the adds and comments I was reviewing I expected way better.wake up with soar ribs in the morning find myself switching sides through the night, not what I expected for the money purple!

I husband and I were so excited to try the purple mattress. We hadn't read a single bad review, we found the advertising and technology to be sound and quite entertaining and our family chiropractor had mentioned that he was wanting to try this bed. My husband has suffered with back pain for over 15 years and we hoped this would be the solution. Unfortunately it has only increased his back pain and brought me back pain that I didn't use to experience. We are accustomed to softer beds and so we watched many reviews and tried different suggestions hoping for that perfect night's sleep that so many profess to have, but nothing we have done to improve the experience has changed the outcome. We are currently looking for a charity to donate the bed to, per the "return" policy. We love the customer service team, they have been wonderful and we love that the beds are donated. Purple is still a great company, the product is just not for us. We're glad so many have enjoyed the bed and recommend that others pursue it, it's a 90 day trial and so when so many people have been satisfied, it never hurts to try it out.

I've had the mattress going on 5 months now.... I don't really like it for myself. My partner likes it. It's too firm for me, it makes my hips hurt. I'm a side sleeper and I hoped it would get better after giving it a few months but I really wish I didn't buy it. Trying to find a topper for it, to make it a little softer. ☹️

My husband and I tried a Purple queen first, in the guest bedroom, and slept there for a few months. We loved it so much we bought a king for our master bedroom, too. We noticed the temperature difference immediately. My husband used to always sweat at night, heavily. With the purple it's not nearly as bad, he's just warm, and he doesn't heat up the whole mattress. My husband likes soft beds, I like them firm. The purple mattress makes us both happy. My husband used to wake me up at night, I'm a light sleeper. The purple is amazing at stopping motion transfer. I sleep on my stomach and side, and my husband sleeps on his back and side. We both find the Purple comfortable. We also got the kickstarter Purple pillows. We aren't as impressed with them. They get hot between the pillow and mattress, and I'm not fond of the 2 sections. The bottom part is an inflatable pillow and the top part is the purple gel- it's really heavy.

We bought this mattress for our 13 year old son who is in the midst of a growth spurt and had outgrown his old twin bed. He loves the mattress so much that he talks about it during the day and frequently can wait to get back to it. He tends to be a very hot sleeper and loves the cooling effect of this mattress.

Not rating the item Rating the delivery. Came very quickly. That was greait. Problem for me was they had the word purple all over it with a description of its specific content. For one thing it's an advertisement that there is something expe dive to steal sitting on my porch. Second this was a gift for my husband so not much of a surprise. There was no option to say it was a gift so he pretty much figured it out. This is not a marketing opportunity. It's a hazard. Sorry but I am just so disappointed.

We had to buy a 2nd mattress for our guest bedroom, and we don't want to be those people with a horribly uncomfortable guest bed mattress (scaring away all our friends and family!) This mattress is so comfortable and bouncy! My niece and brother love it and we love it too for chilling out in that 2nd bedroom for a change of scene. We love this bed just as much as our first, which is holding up wonderfully after 3 years of use.

I can't decide if this bed is too firm yet. It is more on the firm side, but the top layer gives where it needs to. If your used to a plush pillowtop, this will probably be too firm for you, otherwise I think most will really enjoy it. Love the sheets too!
