I love this mattress! I have tried memory foam, inter-coil, hybrid, interlock spring, etc. This mattress is by far the most comfortable. I've read reviews that the edges can give over time so we'll see how it holds up but even if it only lasts 5 years, the quality of sleep I'll get during that time will be worth the cost of another.

we purchased 2 twins to make a split king along with sheets and mattress protectors. Everything arrived quickly. We already had the pillows. We have had the mattresses a little over a month. These beds are truly temperature neutral and very comfortable. Previously, we had a 4-year-old pillow-top queen. Hot and lots of motion transfer. I am a restless sleeper and he is a hot sleeper. This is the original Purple mattress, as we cannot get the new versions in Canada. This mattress is firm but soft- it's a bit hard to describe. I sleep both on my sides and back. The mattress protectors do have a bit of a plastic sound but i don't think you can get away from that if you want to keep the mattress clean (i have my coffee in bed in the morning along with my two boxers. Not always a serene experience). The sheets, which i got as a promotion with the purchase of a mattress, have a few issues. First, the good: they are very soft and silky and quite cool in the heat. The elastic on the fitted sheet is truly hard core. That bottom sheet stays on all night. Now, the not so good. They pill, even when washed alone and on the delicate cycle. As well, top sheet is really, really long and really, really narrow. So narrow that it tends to wrap around me. I think these mattresses need stretchy jersey sheets to realize the comfort of the mattress, but they need a bit of a re-work. This bed system is truly unique. If you are looking for a new bed, this is worth exploring. I thought i would miss the cushy pillow top. I am not a big person and do not have a lot of body fat. This bed supports my hips and my lower back without engulfing me in lots of top padding, which ends up being hot in the summer and fluffy padding is not really supportive. Overall, we are very pleased with our purchase and would (and have) recommend this mattress.

Love it! Had the sleep number for years, but we started having issues with it. I was not paying for a new one, so I asked a friend who had a purple, and they loved it. I gave it a shot, and we absolutely love! Our purple has provided a good nights sleep since the first night.

My wife and I have used a Sleep Number bed for the past 10 years after I had back fusion surgery and I thought my sleeping issues were finally tackled. We experienced a problem with one side...it popped! It had a 20 year warranty and I considered calling them but a very close friend, a Purple customer, shared his experience and after much thought, ordered ours. We are so glad we did!

My wife and I both love the bed to sleep on we have had great nights sleep since receiving our Purple Mattress. My only complaint is when I go to sit on the edge I bottom the mattress out on the bed frame. But otherwise i would totally buy this mattress for every room in my house.

After a year or so this mattress has intentions where we sleep. The mattress has been rotated, etc... it just does not hold up long term. The mattress sags about 3 inches on both sides where we sleep and is extremely uncomfortable. This is an absolute disappointment having to replace an expensive mattress such as this after a year or so usage. Not what we expected from what we thought was a reputable product.

I don't know if my expectations were too high but I am still having the same issues with the pressure points that I had with our 15 year old mattress. Or, maybe it doesn't work on everyone. I just can't tell much difference. Our son, who has bought 3 mattress from you had a much better experience. My husband also thinks it is a good mattress, so unfortunately, I guess you can't win them all!

This is my third mattress purchased from Purple. By far the best mattress I've ever owned. This time we decided to upgrade to one of the newer models. With the upgraded model in home delivery was part of the deal. If I knew that in home delivery was them dropping the mattress off in my foyer and leaving I wouldn't have paid 2600 for the mattress. The delivery guys refused to even carry it into my room. So if your planning on buying the best mattress on the planet be prepared to drag it in and set it up yourself.

We love this mattress! He's a hot sleeper who likes soft beds and I typically wanted a heated cover on a very firm mattress! I was skeptical of Purple but we decided to give it a go and boy are we happy with it!! There is also no motion transfer between us or the dogs moving around! Very pleased with this purchase so far!!

I have not had good sleep in over a decade. I wake up with chronic back and shoulder pain. Since college, if I am not on my side I will not be able to get any rest. Every night I can expect to wake up every 15 to 20 minutes. Sleep study tests show that I get to stage 4 REM cycle in less than 10 minutes, and as a result, my heart never really gets rest. I can happily say that though I do not sleep through the night, I wake up every other hour now. I no longer have severe back and shoulder pain. The Purple mattress is so great that I have even fallen asleep on my back and on my stomach. This has been a wonderful investment for my pregnant wife and I.
