I purchased a Purple brand metal queen bed platform at Mattress Firm in February 2019. It was over-priced, but the salesman said that it has absolutely no squeaks & noises, is manufactured to hold up to 4500 lbs. and last absent of noises. I don't know about the weight restriction, however there are no noises, it's sturdy & there is LOTS of storage underneath. BIG PROBLEM however.........the mattress slides a lot and bed skirt slides with mattress. Should be priced lower because of this.

Best mattress I've ever slept on! I had a memory foam mattress for almost 10 years and it eventually wore down to the point that it was too soft and was shaped to me. My husband and I would wake up with back and neck pain and I would wake up several times in the night due to being too warm or sore. Now in just a little over three weeks' time, neither one of our back hurt! I have been sleeping through the night and my husband doesn't toss and turn like he used to! Thank you for this wonderful product! I had forgotten what sleep support actually felt like! :)

I swapped out the standard purple (delivery guy picked it up) for the Purple 3 mattress in twin size due to still having hip pains when sleeping on my side and losing feeling in my arms due to shoulders. I am 200 lbs. So far this Purple 3 hasn't made a difference. I will give it a couple more weeks and will be looking again at memory foam and maybe a doctor. But the mattress is nice and much better than the standard mattresses out there and customer service is excellent!

Well I'd like to point out a few things one im a veteran and can sleep just about anywhere. The other thing is my back needs support. My fiance bought us the purple 2 the bed feels like your hovering on top of it it has zero give. I fall asleep on my back and wake up every other hour sore. I toss and turn all night long and good luck getting back to sleep after that. I will never buy another purple mattress as long as I live and I would not be surprised if half of these reviews are fake. Do yourself the favor and ignore the hype that there commercials have.

I had waited months just for Purple to get their California King size mattress available for me to purchase. I am not disappointed! I absolutely LOVE my Purple mattress!!! The very first night, I don't even remember falling asleep, and I didn't wake up in the middle of the night like I used to either. I'm looking forward to getting my Purple pillows... I just love all of the Purple line. If you're looking to purchase a new mattress, I would recommend trying Purple for 100 nights free... They will even come and get it from you if you're not satisfied. Thank you Purple for making such awesome products and I'm looking forward to what else you might be making! ;)

I have spent thousands on great mattresses over the years. This crazy bed is by far the best mattress I've ever owned. I actually sleep without back pain now. I haven't been overheated at night, like all my other mattresses. I really sleep cooler. I don't know how they do it. The sheets are weird and awesome . They let air in but still keep me at just the right temperature. You won't go wrong with putting your money into this bedroom set. Go Purple

We loved the bed at first. It was perfect during my pregnancy. However, it started squeaking and dipping in @ 1-2 years in. Hubby has to sleep in the middle of the bed now because his side dips down and gives him a back ache. I also wake up with more aches. :( We have to buy a new bed now.

A 50 year old side sleeper, I've struggled w/back pain and night sweats for the past few years. I recently made the switch from a memory foam bed to a Purple mattress and have had the best rest in years. I'm so delighted and only regret not having made the investment sooner!

It seems to work well. I keep a plastic cover over my child's mattress and place the purple mattress cover over it. I have noticed the plastic cover smell like urine but I don't know if the smell just transfers through. I wash the purple mattress cover with the rest of my child's bedding and hang it to air dry. It has worked well so far, keeping the mattress protected with this 2 cover technique. I would try the purple cover alone, except for the fact that we as parents have struggled with urine stains and odor in his mattress for years and I don't want to chance it again. Over all I love this cover and will buy again if needed.

First night was really good. I am 21 and suffer from a few slipped disc in my back as well as arthritis and scoliosis. I haven't had a comfortable bed since I was 14. Every mattress I've had I also woke up with back pain. It was so often I actually got used to the back pain. We decided to for once go with a nice expensive mattress so we got the level 3 of purple (2nd softest) and I woke up this morning is very mild back pain. And I wasn't stiff at all. (I haven't woken up without severe back pain in 7 years!) We did get an adjustable base so we slept with zero gravity which I also think helped. We use hope this will last. I will update my review in a few months to see if it lasts.
