Really love this mattress. It provides support without any pain. It is like you are floating on the bed. Also feels cooler than a regular or memory foam mattress. Love that the material instantly goes back to the regular shape as you move unlike memory foam which takes time to puff back up. Overall I am a fan and when the time comes I will go to Purple first again!

I have had my Purple Twin XL for about eight months. The fulfillment took a month (21 business days). I was 29 and 160 lbs with about thirty being excess fat. I am now 30 and 175 lb with about 45 being excess fat. I am 5'5" and have very broad shoulders and average hips for a woman. I have been a back sleeper for years with almost no movement during the night, but tend to switch to my side when I'm cold, my lower back is tight, or the bed is uncomfortable. I, also, tend to wake up naturally after 6.6-7.5 hours of good sleep. When the bed is too firm, I tend to sleep for a couple hours on my back, then a couple hours on one side, a couple on the other side, etc., rotating as my hip and shoulder pain wakes me up between deep sleeps. When I first got my Purple, it felt great. I had been sleeping on a 4inch memory foam topper with no mattress for three months so the purple was heavenly. It felt like it really contoured the body and I definitely slept better than I had on the foam topper without a mattress. However, it did not take long before I was sleeping fitfully again. I assumed it was because of my stressful job, then the mono I caught over the winter, and the fact that I was getting older. Now I am older and heavier, but I have a wonderful, less stressful job; I'm always exhausted because I wake up to shift positions four to eight times during the night. After nine hours, I don't want to get out of bed because I'm tired, but my hips are so sore from the bed. I spent the night at a friend's house not long ago and slept perfectly on the pillow top mattress and woke up rested after only six and a half hours. I felt like me again. The Purple is just not soft enough for my taste. I see that Purple has put out new versions of the bed with different thicknesses. Maybe the thicker "all positions" mattress would work better for me. I just don't care to test it right now.

My wife and I have been in the market for a new mattress for quite awhile. She suffers from chronic neck/shoulder pain and our old mattress seemed to be compounding the problems. After much research online, we first ordered a T&N mattress. I had no trouble with their mattress, it was much too firm for her and seemed to cause more issues. We returned the T&N mattress and ordered Purple. While no mattress can alleviate my wife's pain, the Purple seems to be the best for her issues. It seems to relieve some of the pressure on her back and neck. I also find the mattress very comfortable and sleeps relatively cool. I'd certainly recommend the Purple mattress to anyone.

I fall asleep, and I do not wake up during the night. It is difficult to wake up in the morning since I am very comfortable in my bed. Just like the platform base, The Purple Mattress does not make any noise whatsoever. It is firm, yet soft and comfortable.

This is by far the best mattress I've ever owned. The delivery and set up was a breeze. I didn't realize how poorly I was sleeping until this mattress! Before this bed I would wake up multiple times a night and I was always tired. I now sleep though the night and wake up refreshed!! Also, I no longer wake up from being to warm. I love the cooling factor this mattress provides, I'm the perfect temperature all night. 10/10 would recommend. I make everyone that comes over lay on my bed and they all have said it's there next purchase.

We have been sleeping on the purple mattress for several weeks now and I absolutely love it. It is comfortable, cool and easy to turn and roll. We had an air mattress before and it was comfortable when you first got in it but it would sink around your body wait. The purple mattress surprisingly has great support yet is very comfortable. It feels so soft when you first get in the bed and when you lay down you can feel you buttock sink in but then feel support in your lower back. It is amazing how it provides that kind of support and can feel both soft and firm. The technologies is quite amazing. I also bought the Purple Ultimate Seat Cushions and use them both at work and home. I hope they wear well because I am going to want to sleep in this mattress for many years.

I liked it from Day 1 but it took my wife about two weeks before she liked the bed. Really enjoying it and sleeping well. Easy to order, fast delivery, and good communication via email and videos to set up the frame and bed. Your YouTube videos are enjoyable as well.

The ONLY reason I'm giving four stars is bc I found the bed to be very hot. However, before you scratch it off your list -consider: I am INCREDIBLY hot natured. Abnormally hot natured. The right sheets will definitely help with the warmth. Unfortunately, It's just too hot for me. We had planned on returning it and customer service was exceptional to work with. However, at the last minute we decided to keep it to use in one of our guest rooms. My "impossible to impress" mother-in-law loved it. Worth every penny for that alone. Ha! Some advice when purchasing: 1. Get the right sheets. Their customer service peeps can make suggestions. 2. Give it a chance. They give you 100 days to try it for a reason. I didn't decide until day 82 that it was too hot for me. And it should be noted that the mattress we currently own is blazing hot. Our Purple wasn't any hotter than our current, traditional mattress, I was just hoping for a miracle popsicle mattress. Ha! When you guys offer THAT, I'll be your first buyer! Excellent product, super comfy, just too hot for me. :-)

I have a friend that swears by the purple but it definitely didn't work for my husband and I. The gel top squishes in when you lay on it but my arm would only push in on the shoulder leaving the rest of the arm lying on top. This would cause arms to fall asleep. It was also just not soft enough for my liking. The return process was efficient and quick though. That was nice .

Got the Mattress. Got the Pillows. Gonna buy the power base after next paycheck. They are weird, but while you're lying there thinking, "Huh, this is a little weir.......zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz." It's makes you sleep against your will. Do not lay on this mattress, especially with the pillows, unless you want to sleep.
