i loved it from the first night, to which i am a typically firm mattress lover. My wife took about a week, she is typically the soft mattress lover. Because of our differences the choice seemed either to buy a really expensive, super adjustable mattress (which we couldn't afford), or settle on the middle somewhere. The issue for us each time we settled in the middle, is the mattress wasn't really that great for either of us. And it also appeared to be over a period of a few years, the standard "sink hole" would begin to form. All this went away when purchasing the Purple. we absolutely love it and really question sleeping on anything else. I sleep on my side quite a bit and what used to put stress on my shoulders from the old style mattress now spreads out and is supported everywhere on the Purple, which results in me moving less to get comfortable and takes the stress pressure off my shoulder joints. I was on the fence with making this purchase until I read that The Purple Mattress is ideal for people needing a medium hard mattress. I agree it's a good mixture of being soft and cushy but also supportive. I wake up with less back and hip aches. My one problem is that now my cats only want to nap on the new bed!

I have always heard that a bad mattress can cause back pain. I have been waking up each day for years with back pain, I'm 70 and figured it was just a part of my life. I purchased the Purple mattress and woke up the very first day without back pain. I have not had any more back pain in the morning since I got this mattress.

LOVE IT!!! Nothing bad to say. Shipping was reasonable and this bed is the most comfortable I've ever slept on. Yes, the price is high, but with it supposedly lasting 10 years, we will have saved money on buying other mattresses. The one we replaced lasted 2 years. So I'm hoping Purple lasts me a lot longer! Love it so far❤️ ❤️ ❤️

I'm giving this review because I'm a tummy sleeper and was told that sleeping on your stomach isn't good for your body but it's the way I have slept or sometimes on my side but always ended up on my stomach. Last night was my first night sleeping on the original purple mattress and just woke up and to my shock I just woke up on my back! My first thought was I never sleep on my back! But to my surprise my back feels so good that I don't want to get up because my back doesn't hurt, I hurt my back 2 years ago and it has gotten better but sometimes will start to hurt again especially in the mornings when I wake up but I'm laying here with no back pain what so ever! So I hope this means I have found the perfect mattress. I will update my review on a later date but for now I don't want to get out of my purple!

The purple bed is as good as ever. Had a first generation king and this bed holds up to the standards. There were cheaper beds but you can't argue when you know the quality of a bed. The foundation moved very easy on hard wood floors so you need something to stop the moving. The pillow and other features are good.

I already left a review about starting with my first pillow (and now have 3 and the CalKing mattress). Purple is a game changer in comfort and has improved my sleep. I sleep back/stomac/sides almost equally and Purple accommodates me perfectly. I e never had any other bed do that, and the bed that Purple replaced was just under a year old (nothing wrong with it, but I felt if the pillows were THAT great, I was going to take the risk with he bed.....eapecilly with the satisfaction guarantee. It's only been 2 1/2 weeks, but I'm in love.

It sleeps well and is fairly cool. The top layer is comfortable for sure. The problem is after only 60 days or so there are already intentions where we sleep. That is why we got rid of our old bed. We will most likely return the purple bed and choose a different product.

I have very serious back, hip, neck pain that keeps waking me up all night long even with serious pain meds to help me sleep. I dreaded going to bed at night my bone and nerve pain made laying down torture. With the purple mattress I am truly sleeping much better. I am so glad that I got this mattress, sleeping makes life so much better.

Highly recommended. Buying this bed was one of the best decisions we've ever made and we couldn't be more satisfied. Waking up rested and refreshed is life changing, and now we experience that feeling every morning. And the Purple bed sheets even provide an extra dimension of comfort.
