All in all I like my purple mattress but it was very hot , a cooling gel mattress pad fixed that. It is also thinner than a traditional mattress so my bed is about 3 or 4 inches lower. I also think it is more difficult to turn over since it has rubbery support. My back and hips feel good though.

I have put off buying a new mattress for a couple of years. I just didn't feel like dealing with the issues that come with a new bed. My wife showed me the commercial with the eggs and I thought I am not really sure I believe the commercial but with nothing to loose I would give it a try. Two weeks later I laid on the mattress for the first time and still thought it was nothing special it was firm. I'm my mind a 6.5 or 7 on the firmness meter. After the first night I really started to notice the difference. It really does stay cooler than other mattresses and when I woke my back pain that usually hit me every morning was gone. I am a side and back sleeper and this mattress really works for me. I sleep really well now and when I travel I miss my mattress. I would highly recommend anyone with back issues give this mattress a try.

The packaging this mattress came in was ridiculous. My mother and I struggled immensely trying to carry this mattress from my car up three flights of stairs to the bedroom it was to be in. I understand that the mattress needs to be heavy but the handles on the packaging was super uncomfortable and left marks on my hands the next day. I think it might be nicer if the handles were at least slightly padded or the packaging was some other design so carry the product is not so burdensome.

Love the bed so far! My husband had been having back problems and we did quite of bit of research online to figure out which bed would be the best solution. He had pretty much created a hole where he was sleeping in our old (very expensive) mattress. I was worried since I'm close to 100 pounds lighter than him that any bed that worked for him would be too firm for me, but it really seems to work great for both of us! My only disappointment is that I ordered a couple weeks too early to get the free seat cushion! :)

I got the original purple and it is nice but it feels cheaper on the foam area. I like the grid feeling but it was not ask cooling as I thought it would be. Sheets are great! I think my bed would be better if we didn't get such a crappy bed frame from our local furniture store. I really wanted to get your guys frame since I watched reviews on the bed and metal bed frame and it seemed sturdy. But over all happy!

This is a great mattress. I have slept on it for a week now and enjoy the softness and support. The mattress has a very soft top and firm next layer. I like it, but for me to love it I would like it the next level of firmness to be a bit more firm. Some put the mattress at firmness level 6 on a scale of 1 to 10. I think it is more like a 5. I will continue to test it and currently 50/50 about returning it before the end of the 100 day trial. Note that I purchased the bamboo sheets as well, the sheets I really do not like, wish I could return them. The sheets are very stretchy which I guess is good for the fitted on covering the mattress, but for the top sheet it bunches up easily and makes rolling over at night very difficult and it is easy to become uncovered with the top sheet. I would suggest staying with your preferred sheets. All in all my experience with Purple is they are better then spring mattresses, I like the Purple mattress but do not love it. If it was just a bit firmer I might love this mattress.

This is the most unique mattress I've ever slept on. It's also one of the most comfortable. I wasn't sure whether the advertised tech offered real benefits, or if it was just marketing. Now I know. The tech really works - and it works beautifully. We had to go through a couple mattresses to find this one. But - even though we like different levels of firmness, and I sleep on my stomach, while my wife sleeps on her back - we both love this mattress. We're a Purple family now.

My husband and I just had our first baby this April. He's always commented on how we need a new mattress. This year his 30th birthday fell on his first Father's Day so we splurged and got a Purple. He LOVES it. Sleep is so important to new parents and he wakes up without pain finally!

So my husband convinced me to try this mattress I was skeptical because we have spent alot of money on various mattresses thru the years pillow top, tempura pedic and etc. But we ordered and have had several weeks and my first impression was that it was not a bed I got into and said awe this feels heavenly! But felt a little firm but I must say I have slept like a baby and my husband's constant back aches are so much better! I think everyone should give it a try! I'm really impressed and it take alot to impress me!! Thank u so much! I need my beauty sleep!!

This is hands down the best mattress I have slept on in my life. It has the same 'body sinking in' feeling like a memory foam mattress with much better support. I remain cool throughout the night and moving around the bed is very easy. Whether I'm on my side, stomach or back, I am very comfortable and have no aches or pains. The bed is very heavy.
