I kind of impulse bought the purple mattress after one too many nights waking up in pain because of my old mattress, and getting tired of it's sagging in the middle. I had known I wanted to get a new mattress for a while, but honestly I was too lazy to go out to the mattress store and look at multiple options like a real adult. Besides that, Purple is rated amongst the top mattresses available in most articles I have read, so why not? Also they say you can return it if you do not like it, but it was not clear to me how that would have worked... Anyways I love my Purple! Some people say it takes a while to get used to because they can feel the gel grid, but I don't find it to be that noticeable. Purple is kinda strange because it is firm and soft at the same time. You don't really get the squishy cuddly feel you get while laying on memory foam yet you still sink into it in all the right spots. I think it does feel cooler than laying on memory foam too. I currently have my Purple on the floor since I did not have a frame with slats, but i am looking forward to buying a bed platform with lots of storage to make up for not having a box spring.

After sleeping on this mattress for a few weeks I noticed that I no longer wake up with lower back pain. Sleeping in almost any position is comfortable, compared to the last mattress I owned there was only one position I could assume. Overall, I'm satisfied with this purchase. If you are looking a new mattress you should consider trying a purple.

I have had other expensive beds before and some worked great for me but not my wife. This mattress is the first one that works well for both of us. It is very different from other mattresses and takes some getting used to, but it is a great purchase overall.

My wife and I have been sleeping on our new Purple bed for two weeks and absolutely love it. I wake up each morning feeling more rested and without any back pain and best of all, I'm sleeping cool and comfortable. I always used to wake up hot in the middle of the night and would have remove a blanket, but not since we got our purple bed, I don't even need the fan on to sleep anymore. I was really excited about getting my purple mattress. I currently have a pillow top mattress and to be honest there wasn't anything particularly wrong with my current mattress. It is a good mattress. I still wanted to try out the purple mattress because of good branding/advertising, the purple mattress does seem like an amazing mattress. And after sleeping on it for about 30 days I can honestly say its not any better than the mattress I already have. Whats worse is that even with a mattress protector plus the built in cloth cover... I could still feel the gel grid underneath. It didn't make me not want to sleep on it, was just weird compared to my current pillow top. And the purple mattress isn't a bad mattress, I just can't see myself justifying the cost when I didn't find/see much of a difference in my sleep quality or comfort. If I didn't already have a decent mattress, I probably would go ahead and purchase. Sadly my expectations were a lot higher due to my assumption from the online advertisements. On a side note, my purple mattress happened to be an inch lower than advertised(supposed to be 9.5 inches mostly was 8.5 inches, some spots were close to 9 inches). Purple assured me they would send me one that was the correct height if we decided to keep the mattress. I currently enjoy having a tall mattress anyway so this was also a slight ding on my overall experience. Again not bad, just kind of average.

It's only been a couple of weeks, but I am sleeping better on this mattress than previous mattresses. I preferred firm mattresses in the past so was surprised when this softish mattress worked so well for me. In addition, it is easy to lift to make the beds.

I have had back issues since 2016 due to an auto accident. My husband and I knew our first mattress was increasing my back pain, so we saved up for a Purple in hopes that the tech and reviews proved to be genuinely good. They are! It IS a phenomenal experience to rest on and it has definitely eased my back pain. Also- delivery experience and directions are top notch. The only critical note is if you are tempted to lie down on it for an extended time (think a lazy sunday morning), the lack of pressure may cause your legs to fall asleep because there is so little stimulation. Moral of the story: it makes sleep amazing, gives good support and cushion for bad backs, and tempts you to stay in it all morning!! So thankful we saved up.

My wife was 7 months pregnant when we bought this mattress(base model size king). Both her and I wake up noticeably more rested. Their top grate material is really cool. It's a bit odd feeling at first when you run your hands across the bed but the feeling when you lay down is just wonderful. You don't feel any pressure points or even a part of your body that is holding more weight. It's like the bed comes to meet you at each point of your body. 10/10 this is the best you can get. I upgraded from a temperpedic firm

I've been sleeping on the mattress for almost a month now. It's a lot more firm that I was anticipating. I've got both the Purple sheets and the bed liner, yet I'm finding that my shoulder and arm are a bit uncomfortable as I try to go to sleep. I've tried adjusting my position to accommodate but haven't been able to make any meaningful change. It's certainly better than the past it's prime pillow top mattress I had, but I don't consider the Purple all that comfortable.

This is, hands down, the greatest mattress ever. The only complaint I have is how incredibly heavy it is, and hard it is to move - but you don't move your mattress very often so it isn't really an issue. Good golly, if you're looking at this page - get this mattress.
