Delivered in less than 48 hours from when I ordered it, way faster than I expected. I was hoping to immediately fall in love with my King size mattress, but it has taken me some time to get used to the feel/sensation of firm in some areas and soft in others. After about 3 weeks I find I'm looking forward to going to bed and I'm waking up refreshed! I plan to buy the sheets and the pillow eventually, though I wish the pillow came in King size. Overall 2 thumbs up!!!

Before upgrading to PURPLE I was using your standard memory foam mattress for the past 10 years. In my years of experience, memory foam tends to hold a lot of body heat, and I mention this because I sleep hot. Also, memory foam eventually breaks and gives eventually making "dips" or "ruts" in the area of the bed you sleep most. After many arduous hours of research before investing in a mattress I kept coming back to PURPLE's website. PURPLE is the only company that has the unique purple grid where is everyone else is based off of different types of ways using memory foam. In the end though it's all still memory foam. After reading the reviews and watching enough videos I was sold on the PURPLE mattress especially after learning that these mattresses sleep cool and "breathe". Also, I would like to mention this. All my life I've used two pillows to try and find that perfect comfort level, but could never really achieve it. I purchased the Harmony pillow 7.5", and it is the perfect height and is so amazingly comfortable. Additionally, I purchased the purple stretch sheets and gravity blanket. All in all every bit of technology and comfort Purple has sent to my house has been phenomenal. This is the stuff dreams are made of!!!

I love this bed. I love it I love it I love it. I am usually a side sleeper but with this bed I have been sleeping like everyway. The moment I get on this bed I am out like a light. It's guven me the best rest I have had in years. I battle lupus so there are days where I am fighting through muscle fatigue or joint paint. When I have the days and I go to sleep on this mattress. I wake up in a better state. Love it!!!! Thank you purple!!!

History: I'm over 200lbs, have had back problems for years, and always had a pillow top mattress. This mattress has helped my back tremendously, though I will say it was WAY more firm than I expected at first. Not in a bad way, because it contours perfectly to your body, so you sleep as straight as possible; but it did take a few weeks to adjust. Would highly recommend!

We have had our bed for about a month now and it's amazing!! My spouse and I both sleep so much better. Or is bed was causing tremendous go pain for me upon waking in the mornings but now with the purple mattress I have absolutely no pain!! Completely recommend it!!

I received the bed and after sleeping on it for a couple of nights I was ready to return it; it was far too squishy and soft for me. I waited however, until the bed frame arrived and everything changed. I no longer want to return it, and while it is still a bit softer than I expected, I sleep very well on it; sometimes not wanting to get out of it. This is my 3rd bed in 4 years so hopefully it lasts the full 10 years, or longer!

Since gettin the purple mattress my wife and both sleep better and wake up in the mornin feelin better. I used with wake with my back hurtin so bad it took me a little while to get get where I could move around better. I am a slide sleeper. I have to sleep that way because of problem with my back. I have Spondylolisthesis. The purple mattress has helped really helped me sleep better.

My wife and I are in our 60's. We are Jack Sprat in reverse. She is slim (5'4", 117 lbs) and I am fairly tall & husky (6', 216 lbs). We had an old Sleep Number bed and had both started having back aches. My side was getting to be like a hammock. My side of the mattress had a slow leak so the middle would sink throughout the night. When we got the Purple mattress, my wife immediately liked it and it helped her get a better night's sleep. But I had a hard time adjusting. I took the foam cushioning from under the Sleep Number bed and put on top of the Purple mattress for a week or two then I went back to sleeping on the Purple mattress. I have finally gotten to the point where I can get 6 or 7 hours' sleep before the aches start to keep me from sleeping anymore. Purple cannot reverse the aging process, but it helps make it go a bit better. The Purple sheets are outstanding. We really enjoy them. They are stretchy and have a great feel to them. We had similar experiences with our Purple seat cushions as with our Purple mattress. My wife has a big cushy office chair and has been battling sciatica and lower back issues for several years. I have a Herman Miller office chair that I like pretty well but I sit long hours and get normal aches in the hind-end associated with sitting for too long. So when the Good Lord was telling me to get off my hind-end more often, I decided instead to get a Purple seat cushion, the Royal. My wife got the Ultimate. She still has the lower back issues but the Purple cushion is better than the many other options she has tried. The Royal Purple cushion does not feel much better than my mesh Herman Miller seat and it elevates me so the back is too low and the lumbar region is in the wrong place. My seat cushion was not wasted, though. My wife uses it on her other chairs. Purple people have been very good to deal with. They had a big promotion around Thanksgiving 2016 and incurred a significant back-log. And that leads to my only issue with Purple policy they charged our card right away, but it took a couple of weeks to get our mattress shipped (sooner than their estimate, though), a month to ship the sheets, and 1-1/2 months to ship the seat cushions.

So far the Purple mattress have been wonderful! It is firmer than I originally expected, but it actually has been great for my back. It does take a short amount of time to adjust, but then the bed is fantastic. I would also like to say that the customer support at Purple is just wonderful! I had an issue with my mattress cover ripping during opening, and they replaced it immediately with no difficulty. All the representatives I talked to were so nice. Great bed, great company, great employees!

I knew after the first night I slept on this mattress it was the single best purchase of my adult life. I hadn't slept so well in years. I've had the mattress for a little over a month now and I couldn't be happier. My only concern is how long it will hold up over time, but only time will tell I suppose. Regardless, I am a huge fan of Purple and would recommend it to everyone, especially a side sleeper!
