So far the bed is good. I am having to get use to somethings about it.... The bed works best with my body when I lay either straight on my back or stomach.. Which is hard because I am use to sleeping in my side, and when I sleep on my side on this bed I wake up super sore. But when sleeping on my back or stomach I sleep amazing. So just have to change my sleeping habits.

I have bought over 9 different mattress brands due to back and hip injury. This one so far has been the best! Feels like your on a cloud. Sleep so well. Can lay on my side without my leg falling asleep. My ribs don't ache in the morning from sleeping on that side. First mattress that my leg hadn't fallen asleep on. It's a great feeling. I highly recommend any of these mattresses. I sleep cooler and better than ever! My daughter owns two and my son is ordering one soon. Thank you! Alex Strong

I was a bit nervous to buy a mattress online that I had never been able to check out in person first, but with the 100 offer I figured I had nothing to loose. The pain in my neck and back had gotten so bad I had to do something, so I got the mattress and pillow. Wish I had this bed and pillow years ago!!! Back and neck pain are gone! The mattress truely does sleep cool too!! Love, love, love my mattress and pillow!!!! Hubby loves it too!!!

1) Our purple King arrived before the mattress cover so we used our old one and a had 3 miserable nights - like sleeping in a brick and I was ready to send back and went back to our Sleep Number that I had been quite happy on. Then read could not return for 21 days and cover can make a difference. So when the cover arrived, decided to try with cover. 2) Time does make a difference! With purple stretchy cover, got progressively more comfortable over several nights. To summarize - get the purple cover and give it a good week to decide. Glad we did! Extremely happy with now.

After reviewing mattress for several weeks my wife and I decided to give the Purple mattress a try. We are 4 weeks into the trial run and are very disappointed. I have to say that the mattress is exactly the opposite of all the selling points that Purple advertises. It says it gives at your pressure points but we have found that it is extremely hard on your hips, shoulders, and lower back. We are waking up with pain that we haven't had before. We are trying to give it time as suggested by other reviewers but our patience is starting to wear thin.

I did not remember the last time that I woke up rested. With a three year old and a soon-to-be two year old, I have not gotten a full 8 hours of sleep since I was pregnant....... With my eldest child. After watching all of the commercials, tons of research, and reading tons of reviews; We ordered the Queen sized Purple Mattress and base. I have never slept so good in my life! Even though I do not get any more sleep than I did, I still feel refreshed. Even on 4 hours of sleep, I did not feel groggy at all! My husband always runs hot. He enjoys the Purple mattress because of it's temperature neutral qualities. He would get so hot and stuffy, tossing and turning all night. The air flow has allowed him to sleep well for the first time, and he is no longer tossing and turning. I wish we had this mattress years ago!

Surprisingly, my husband likes the mattress more than me. I thought he would be more critical. We both feel that it gives a lot of support in all the right places. I'm disappointed that this mattress doesn't feel any different to me than other firm mattresses when I try lying on my side because my shoulder hurts. It hurts with all mattresses, and I was hoping the purple mattress would help but it doesn't. I also don't feel any cooler than on on a regular mattress, as purple has claimed that it helps to keep you cooler. But overall it is a pretty good mattress.

I purchased the original Purple mattress and can honestly say that I am in love. I have been suffering with back pain for many years. I have had my Purple mattress for almost 2 months and while I still have some back pain it is almost non-existent from what I previously had. I sleep so well on this mattress that I sometimes don't ever want top get up. It is comfortable and cool and well constructed. I see myself having this mattress for the rest of my life. I can speak honestly and tell you that it is worth the money so if you are thinking about buying it just do it! you won't regret it, I promise! Purple thank you for making a truly awesome, comfortable product!

I do recommend the mattress. It's fantastic. But unless you have the pillows to go with it the pain will remain. You'll forget about any lower back pain but you'll start to notice just how stiff your neck is after sleeping with a regular pillow. Bottom line. If you're ready for the insane comfort of the mattress be sure to budget for those pillows too otherwise you'll notice headaches and pain from the place that does not have the luxury of touching the purple technology.

I took some time researching my next mattress purchase. Talked to people who already owned a Purple and tested it out in the store. I have had my Purple a month now. Haven't regretted one night's sleep. The Purple took a couple nights to get used to. It forms to your body when you lay down, but is supportive. I was in a car accident years ago, so have lower back problems with beginning of arthritis in both hips. Since buying my Purple, I have not woken up with back or hip pain. Good buy.
