I have had trouble sleeping for years with arthritis in my knees back and neck not a day goes by that I don't toss and turn and wake up in pain in my back hips and neck. My daughter convinced me to try a new mattress she had just ordered her purple mattress had not received it yet and so I being at my last straw said ok order it for me. I received the pillow first and thought oh my what the heck is this. First nite slept good and woke up with no neck pain however still on my old mattress my hips hurt. I would have to turn over every 5 to 10 min because of hip pain. Finally the bed came we set it up immediately and after the first night I realized this is the best purchase I have ever made. From the first night until now a few weeks later I wake up with no hip pain no back pain and my neck feels great. I was a little worried about ordering this bed not knowing what I was getting myself into also my husband had to be happy with it as well, he is hard to please LOl. However he is as pleased as I am. We just can't believe how comfortable we sleep and how great this skinny little pillow is. We are both very happy with our purple mattress and pillow. I would recommend this mattress and pillow to anyone who has trouble sleeping especially due to hip back or neck pain and don't forget this awesome little pillow. This mattress is awesome. I wake up feeling incredible every day. I have been telling everyone about it and carrying around the sample they provide so I can spread the word. Everyone should have a Purple! And given the cost, there's no reason for everyone not to!

The travel cushion is very comfortable and I use it every day with my job, I drive a propane delivery truck and spend a lot of time behind the wheel and it helps. The only thing I wish is that it was bigger, other than that it's awesome and I've already recommend this product to just about every one I know. Thanks

My husband introduced me to the purple mattress and has been talking about getting one for years. We decided for our anniversary to get one and we love it. He has back problems and I have hip pain and this mattress is comfortable for both of us. We move in our sleep and our dogs sleep with us and not feeling the other person (or dog) move in the middle of the night is great! We would recommend a purple mattress.

Like trying any new product, especially one this large & that I could not return easily, I was really hesitant. Price was a factor, size, & weight was a factor. But my lower back, sleeping in general, just was not working for me on a traditional mattress. And I didn't want to go back to one if I could help it. I was using an air mattress initially with a custom set up. Its an interesting sleeping experience, but if the mattresses constantly die on you from air leaks.. what's the point? frustration.. lots of it. Don't ask me how I know. You know what sucks? waking up on a sinking ship, figuratively speaking of course, at 2 am in the morning... SO, long story short, I found out about the purple mattress, all its "competitors" .. actually thought it was a gimmick at first. Watched as many videos as I could, read as much as I could. Pulled the trigger on their classic set up. I honestly have no regrets. I've had this mattress for over a year before doing this review. Their was that first bit of times, sleeping on the purple mattress where it was "Weird" but I had that same experience with air mattresses, so... is what it is. I quickly grew used to it.. FOR THE BETTER. Since I've been using a purple, my back issues have abated, slowly, but its happened. Glad I made the choice to buy a purple mattress, it really is an engineered godsend. It's basically the way the bed supports & cradles you without becoming, overly hot or smothering.. Ie, just eating you. It sleeps cooler than a traditional mattress as well, but not by a huge amount, so if your worried about freezing, you won't. That being said, a degree or two, can make a world of difference to sleeping comfortably. I've always been hot blooded, so, a bed at night, that stays a bit cooler, I can deal with that! I'm a big tall guy, healthy, & gravity doesn't seem to like that-but I get some real relief when I sleep at night thanks to this mattress. Really glad I made the purchase. Its nice to get a product, it work... & hold up to the claims made. Its a shocker honestly. My only advice is this, if your tall, go with the "twin xl" for a single sleeper, b/c twin is a bit short. (I don't even know if they still sell just the twin?)

I'm a large guy (6'6, 280) who used to play a lot of sports, and because of that my body seems to be aging and aching more frequently than I hoped. My wife and I slept on a second-hand bed for 8 years, and after our last move we decided it was time for a new mattress. We looked in every brick-&-mortar store, and most online retailers. We happened upon the Purple introduction video on social media and decided to look into it. After reading reviews of many people who suffered from the same pain I experience, we decided the price was worth the chance, especially given the 100-night trial period. Upon delivery we immediately opened the package and laid down. The feeling is hard to explain fully. Most people are familiar with laying on a memory foam mattress, and while Purple does incorporate some memory foam, the real star of the show is the elastic polymer topper. It cradles every spot with just the right amount of support without ever feeling like you're sinking too far. I describe it to my friends as a "smart" product, as it feels like the mattress reacts to my shifts in body weight with amazing accuracy and pressure. I can't believe how much I love this mattress. Thank you, Purple, for allowing me the opportunity to have a restful, deep night of sleep again. I can't wait to go to sleep now. :-)

This bed is simply amazing. When they say 4-6 weeks for delivery, it's no joke but totally worth the wait. It sleeps cool, which is to say I haven't felt any hotspots while sleeping on it through the past month of summer heat. I'm curious to see how it performs as the temperature gets colder but I'm guessing there will not be any issues there. I'm considering buying them for all my kids.

I have wanted a purple mattress for a long time. My mom thought it was just a gimmick. I saved up and my mom finally got me one. I have had all of my best night's sleep ever since unpacking it. I found I need fewer hours of sleep time because I am not getting up so much from discomfort. I got my mom to finally try it. She says it's ideal for anyone suffering from severe arthritis like she does, and she's decided to get the softest one you make for herself. Unpacking this mattress is really cool!!! It opens up like a flower in a hurry.
