So far so good. It only took about 3 nights for me to finally get a full nights sleep & wake up pain free. The pillow arrived later than the mattress but has also been a blessing. The pillow/mattress combo is working well. Praise God! PS. The sheets are amazing too. Definitely plan on ordering more sheets. Thank you for all your efforts. This hard working, aging body is very grateful!!!!

I was reluctant to try this bed but so glad I made the purchase. Best nights of sleep I've ever had. I'm a hot sleeper to and I find this bed to be very very temperature friendly. No hot spots no pressure compete comfort package. Thanks to Tony and Terry I've started dreaming again. Finally getting the rem sleep I needed!

Our Purple mattress (and pillows) perfectly supports my body, and keeps a consistently comfortable temperature all night. We slept on a very expensive major brand name memory foam mattress for years. After awhile, the memory foam does settle into dips where you lay, so you are no longer supported like you were at first. Also, sleeping hot was a really major issue with the memory foam for me. It's great that Purple gives you 100 nights to try it out. But, I have no intention of sending it back, LOL! Also, I received my Purple sheets this week, and they feel AMAZING!

over one monh and still adjusting to it. My wife is already adjusted to it. I still wake up every few hours, but I feel better than I did on a traditional mattress. And I feel more rested unless I lay there to long. I then get back pain, but it subsides quickly after I get up and get moving. Over all I love this mattress! Mike Franklin

The Purple mattress has a very nice, very soft top layer, but the layer beneath is firmer than expected. It is not harshly firm, but I would prefer something a bit more supple. Customer service was great. We will likely keep the mattress, but were hoping for a WOW experience.

I really wanted to like this mattress. Unfortunately it did not provide enough pressure point relief. I could not sleep on it. It caused my arm to fall asleep. I was told later this mattress is not their main recommendation for side sleepers. Perhaps one of the premier mattresses with 3 or 4" of thr purple grid would ha r been better for me but they are too pricey

I have slight insomnia, it usually takes me 2 or 3 hours to get to sleep (been a big problem for quite a while). Likewise my girlfriend wakes up whenever i open our bedroom door. Not only did i sleep on our first night of getting the bed but i went to sleep within 5 mins and i stayed asleep even when my girlfriends alarm went off (girlfriend experienced similar effects). They say they've thrown all kinds of science into this bed but i think its pretty obvious whats going on... The purple employees are all wizards! This bed is too comfortable and gives you a much better nights sleep to be the product of science. This bed (and their sheets) are everything this company has promised and more, i felt like i got a really good sleep last night. The only con (and its small) is that if your not spread out your likely to hit the bed frame underneath you due to the mattresses thickness. This is easily resolved by getting a 3 or 4 inch foam thing to put under the mattress and this mattress is worth every penny.

I have been unable to get comfortable on my purple bed. My lower back aches when I lay on my back. I'm allergic to memory foam and the bed must have memory foam in it because my eyes are puffy and scratchy in the morning and I get a slight sore throat. These go away during the day. If I sleep on another bed I do not experience any of these problems. My husband thinks the bed is comfortable and has helped his back.

I wish I hadn't hesitated for so long! It's so different from the crap mattress that just gets compressed over time.The best way to describe this is "soft but firm" I weigh in the 240 range and the upper egg carton material collapses in some spots and supports in others. It gives even support this way so no specific body part takes most of your weight. Not exactly like sleeping on air, but as close as you can get. I didn't get the coils in mine. Just the basic original mattress and as I said earlier, I wish I would've bought it years ago. My back is no longer spasming due to nightly poor support and your muscles involuntarily being used all night. I never thought a rolled up mattress could outperform a Sealy, Serta or any other pillow/non pillow top mattress. I was wrong and I'm glad I learned a great lesson! Also my wife weighs quite a bit less than me and also loves this mattress. Go to Mattress Firm to check them out or just order it knowing it has a trial period. I really can't see how anyone wouldn't love this.

I'm relatively new to the online mattress shopping experience. We actually bought a Casper first and were initially pleased since we were used to sleeping on firm mattresses. I mean, no one actually likes a firm mattress. You sleep on one because it prevents back pain. A few months later I was shopping for a second mattress and thought I'd give Purple a shot. (Yes, I fell for the marketing.) Happy to say that the advertisements were truthful...comfort WITH support. No back pain and I never have to sleep on an overly firm mattress again. I'm already planning to purchase a second queen size for our other bedroom. Purple, you have a great product. Only one suggestion...start making one for a full bed! I have a Casper that I'd like to take to the dump.
