I'm very happy so far. I can't wait for summer, this mattress sleeps pretty cool. It's winter in New England and I've had to wear socks so I'm hoping it still sleeps cool in the summer when it's wicked hot. Very comfortable, I was amazed that after the first night my lower back didn't ache the next morning. I didn't shuffle to the kitchen and wince while bending down to feed the cats and dog.

I honestly love this mattress. My last one was getting to be about 10-11 years old and this was my first big purchase as an "adult." If you're looking for a super soft/ plush mattress- this is not that kind of mattress, but it is still pretty comfortable and soft. I'm sure it would be easy to make softer with a mattress topper. This mattress cradles you really nicely too, and doesn't sleep warm which is a huge issue for me with other foam mattresses. I'd absolutely recommend this bed without a second thought. I used to wake up in the middle of the night but I've been getting much better sleep and feeling much more restored and energetic since I switched to this bed.

I don't normally write reviews but I'm loving my Purple Plus. I have chronic knee back and neck pain from years of military service and the fact that I'm accident prone and love to do dumb stuff. I also usually sleep 4-5 hours and then wake up. Ever since getting my mattress I wake up feeling like I've actually slept and rested, my body hurts less and I average 6.5-7hrs of sleep. This is by far the best mattress I've slept on.

I had really high hopes for this mattress, and it ultimately lived up to it. It took awhile to "break" the mattress in. I was not used to a firm mattress so I was really worried at first when I kept tossing and turning the first few weeks. But I wanted to give it time and see if it got better. I read somewhere that the Purple mattress could be "broke" in by walking on it (basically trying to break in the foam base), and I did that for a few days and it really seemed to work! We have had the mattress for over a month now and I really do love it. It supports where you need support and gives where you need it to give. The purple mattress it definitely worth giving it a try!

I bought the Base model Purple mattress as I was sleeping in 20 minute intervals a night and waking up sore as the pillow top mattress I had was so hard. Wanting true comfort I believed the marketing on the Purple product so I took a chance and splurged. It arrived in great packaging and now I sleep in about 2 hour intervals as the product is a bit better but not enough to suit my personal needs. I would have been better off shopping local mattress stores and testing multiple products at better price points. Wish I could trade this one mattress as I believe I could have bought both a box spring and better mattress for the same investment. Now the mattress budget is gone and I am just living with my decision to gamble on the Purple until a future point in time. Lesson learned. Test mattresses before purchasing.

I love the Purple2. I am a college strength & conditioning coach and lift a lot of heavy weights throughout the week. This bed helps me relax at night and guarentees that I am ready for another day of work. I often times sleep hot and this bed breathes well and helps keep me cool at night. I can honestly say this is the best mattress I have ever owned.

I went with my gut and tried the original out for 4 weeks and could not get comfortable. It was too firm. I love the idea behind the purple egg crate so I decided to exchange the original for a purple 3. I wanted the purple 4 but it was so expensive I thought I'd give the 3 a try before giving up. I notice my lower back pain has decreased but it's still a firm mattress and I wake up with back and joint pain. I asked to return the 3 within my 100 day trial period because I have shoulder pain from sleeping on my side. They will not exchange the mattress or refund it. Again, i questioned getting purple because the significant price and again found it too firm but now I am stuck paying for an over priced mattress that also hurts my shoulders and hips. I regret trying purple.

I was super excited to order this bed after all the amazing reviews and after sleeping on an awful mattress for so long. I was in pain every day from my old bed, I'm 26 years old and see a chiropractor from the pain I was experiencing. Although it didn't quite give me totally pain free nights like I had hoped I am in less pain than before and I can finally sleep in later on my days off. I haven't had an issue with my arm falling asleep yet either and the bed IS super comfy! I'm a side/stomach sleeper and over 200 lbs and it was definitely different sleeping on this bed but in a good way. Bed definitely retains its shape so far (only had it a month so far) and I can't tell when my cats hop into bed. I also ordered the frame and maybe it's from my assembly skills but it still squeaks just a bit when moving around, but considerably less than my old bed. There is a TON of under bed space too! Like I can totally lay under it and my cats are definitely enjoying the roomy hiding spot, plus I can store away my laundry basket under the bed and make my room look less cluttered! Love that my king sized is long enough for me too, my old full sized bed had my head against the wall and my feet hanging off I almost can't find the edge with this Bed! Overall, I really enjoy the bed even though I still feel stiffness and pain (it might also be my old non Purple brand pillows) but less than before, it's comfortable and no dip has formed, relatively quiet and big enough. Might end up buying more products in the future!

My back pains have literally vanished. Going from a soft pillow top to the purple bed was a very different change but all for the good. I just recommend a fluffy blanket to snuggle with if you are use to super soft beds like I am . Very good investment . I was a stomach sleeper but I find side sleeping with the purple bed best for me and now able to sleep on my back when I switch it up, I wasn't able in the past to sleep on my back but can now with the purple bed because it supports my back and won't leave it aching.

Heavy to get upstairs but handles helped us. Getting it out of the sleeve was another tiring experience. Then unrolling and opening it again was a bit of more heavy work. Finally we had it on the bed. Nice looking mattress. Let it sit for a couple hours then made the bed. I was concerned there would be an odor a couple days, but there was none. Slept great first night and have been since. My husband said it took him a week to adjust to it and then he had his first night sleeping throughout the night without waking up in years. He loves the mattress too. It gives you the support where needed. I'm a stomach sleeper and I'm surprised how my back, arm and shoulders don't ache when I get up in the morning. My husband is a side and back sleeper and he really likes the support too.
