So its been months since we first got this Bed and I was impressed at the way the bed felt and most of all the coolness of the bed. I think I made have made a mistake. I purchased a top for the mattress thinking it would make it somehow better but I am missing the coolness of the bed. So if someone buys a Purple bed and then think about getting a top/cover for the mattress thinking it will make it better. Think again. Other than that I am happy with the bed. Not so much the seat cover. Its to tall and when I put it on any chair it adds inches to the height when you are sitting on it. Maybe a Purple RUG. Anyways those are my thoughts so far. Hope this may help someone.

This mattress is perfect for back and side sleepers. Have not tried it on my stomach. It's as advertised, a smooth and comfortable bed that is a pleasure to sleep on. I got the king size and it's worth the price. As for the durability, I've only had it for a few weeks so I can't say how long it will last, but you have a 10 year warranty. I would not buy any other mattress.

It feels pretty good to lay on for a short time, but so does almost every mattress on the market - laying down feels nice. However, over the 60 or so days we've used it, it's never felt great. I'm pretty light, about 140lbs, my wife is a little heavier at about 250, and neither of us find this comfortable. We both prefer firm mattresses and I don't think I'd call this firm even though that's what they bill it as. The top couple inches is REALLY soft and there's just not enough support under that to make it feel firm. Also, the purple material looks really cool with it's honeycomb-esque shape, but I can feel the lines of those shapes even through the Purple Mattress Protector and the sheets...and it feels weird. Our son loves his, so for some people it works...just not for us.

After using the Purple Bed for just 2 nights, I have noticed a remarkable reduction in my back and neck pain. In other words... they are almost gone (some things even Purple can't cure). Thank you all at Purple - you made the selection,purchase, and use of your product one that I can fully endorse and promote. The website works great. Your humor is great, and when I did call in, your staff was "the best".

I haven't been sleeping on the Purple mattress long enough yet to give a complete review. So far, I can say, I'm not impressed but not dissatisfied either. Since getting this mattress I wake up hot and sweaty. I've recently purchased a bamboo mattress protector in hopes that'll help. I'm also currently looking into bamboo sheets as well. I suffer from back pain, this mattress doesn't seem to add to my pain but I still wake up sore. This mattress is a bit firmer than I expected. Purple offered a free seat cushion when I purchased this mattress. I do like the seat cushion. Now they're offering free sheets, wish I would've waited a week to order. The sheets are labeled as "breathable" which might've helped the heat issue I'm having. I didn't have this heat issue with my previous foam mattress and I had the same sheets and pad on it. In time I'm hoping to be completely satisfied with this mattress.

I love it! It's what I hoped every expensive, or not, mattress, or sleep thing would always be. It has the perfect (for me, so far) combination of firm, yet squishy. Just Perfect! It feels engineered. I can perceive the effort and thought inside of it (maybe in the voids?). This is from a guy (me) very used to dealing with highly engineered thingys of all flavors. (** that's a compliment **) It's winter now and the next real test will come on the other side of our orbit, when my '60s home's lack of a/c will be much more material to me than it is now. Right now I've got a bedding sandwich consisting of: Purple mattress/Purple white fitted sheet/Purple white top sheet/comfy soft waffle weave blanket/grandma made flannel lined quilt made of MY OWN pre 1995 retired jeans. The bed is in the lower level of my split entry mid century home. While it does feel much cooler down there (vs upstairs) in Summer, some swampy summer scorchers will come every single year, and I'll be there, hopefully for eight sweat free restful hours. When it finally does gets hot, any kind of hot, I am making a kind of rare (for me) Optimistic prediction that this mattress will perform very, very well ( Exactly how well.....we'll see...stay tuned). I came to that prediction through two methods. One: The ventilated design by it's nature Seems to indicate a natural ventilation will occur. Of course, this is a guess. but I've got some wisdom, and I am using it here. Two: Until I decided to take my old mattress and put it inside a tent out in the snow, my bedding sandwich had one other item that had been on my old metal spring mattress (how old fashioned and gross, ick). That was my trusty mattress pad heater. This thing would warm up my bed before getting in, and sometimes through the night. It's just like a super warm (but healthy, and not contagious) entity had just gotten out, warming it up for you. It's so much better than getting into a COLD bed. Brrrrrr!! Awful. Booo! Anyway I did notice it took a much higher setting on my dial (0-10) to get the same warmth. A bummer, but as long as I just had to crank it up a bit, no biggie. But.... it does tell me that the same heat (my old dial setting) isn't effecting myself (my chilliness factor) as much.... therefore those Therms must (probably) be dissipating in the voids of Purple polymer, or some such engineering/science voodoo that I now trust, that you do so well. A + Purple *** :) I will have to find a appropriate pillow. My instinct with this mattress is to have none, but I need something to keep my head pointed to the sky (back sleeper, but side curious). We have had a queen sized purple mattress for over a year and now that we moved and needed a bigger bed for our new room we upgraded to a king! We didn't have to shop around for a new mattress brand we knew PURPLE was the only choice for us! My husband is a side sleeper and I am a stomach sleeper.

My husband and I have been using the purple mattress for 3 weeks now! We absolutely love it! It is so soft yet still firm. We love how our body is comforted, it's seriosuly like a cloud. He used to get back pain from our old mattress and now he no longer has it! We have the platform frame too and it was so easy to set up and I love the height of it. We seriously can not wait to go to bed every single night!!!!!!

My husband and I had a tempurpedic and both of us suffered from back and hip pain during the night and when we woke up. Since getting the Purple Mattress we both sleep so much better. I wake up with no pain almost everyday and my husbands pain has diminished a lot but he has back problems, so it will likely never go away completely. I would and do recommend this bed to anyone and everyone. WWe love it and will eventually get the power base and pillows.

This is my 2nd Purple Mattress, the first one was very uncomfortable and hurt my back. This one the replacement, is better. I often times feel there is a sink spot from where I lay, but over time it does reform back to it's original shape. I Found that if I rotate my mattress often ( every 6 months) it will wear evening and not become uncomfortable. Overall, I am liking this mattress and would purchase from Purple again. Thanks for a great night sleep.
