I am 6' 2" 300lbs. I am a big guy by any definition. I have struggled with back pain for a decade. Frequently my morning back pain is so back I can barely walk for the first hour after I get up. I've now been sleeping on the purple mattress for over a month and no longer have any morning back pain. It took about 3 nights to figure out how to get truly comfortable, now I sleep through the night and wake up without any pain. I used to wake up at 3 am with intense pain and have to go sleep in a recliner, now I sleep clear through my alarm. If you are a big guy, you need this bed. It is a deal at twice the price. Seriously, big guys need this bed.

We love our purple mattress we have the split king. We had a foam density issue with one of them. Contacted purple and with in a few weeks we had a brand new mattress and got to donate the other to the homeless shelter. The purple power base is the bomb.

I already sent in a review right after I bought not 1 but 2 twin mattresses. I didn't get a response. For what you're charging per mattress, for the Faith I put in you to have purchased 2 mattresses, sight unseen, I believe I deserved better. I should've received a response back. And immediately. Everything was great in shipping etc. Buu the chemical smell from just one was nasty, pungent & has yet to go away! I've had a large fan blowing out the smell of the mattresses all day, everyday, 24/7 since they arrived. Still no relief & we still don't sleep in that bedroom as we are waiting for the smell to dissipate. That was something that you should've told me prior to purchase. I feel ripped off & would like my $$ back because of the endless chemical smell & your lack of concern. I also have no intention of shipping them back because the weight of each mattress is very heavy & I wouldn't be able to get the mattresses back in their duffle bags. What now? I need to use those beds. The smell is making that impossible. Sincerely, Cheryl P

Dear Purple team, I am a registered nurse who works nights. So when I was in the market for a new mattress I started researching. I was browsing through Facebook and saw the add. I was amazed by the egg test. I like many of my fellow RN's suffer from lower back problems. I have also owned another brand memory foam mattress. But the memory foam wears out over time. So I was supper excited to try the Purple mattress. I must say the best nights sleep I have had. I give the Purple Mattress Five stars.

This mattress has changed the game for us. Sleeps cool and reduces the feeling of your partner moving around in the bed. My husband and I swap around sleeping positions, and we both agree it works for any position. It really relieves pressure where other beds would just allow your whole body to sink in. I really used to think "a mattress is just a mattress", but not anymore! I tell everyone about our new bed...ha!

I'm trying very hard to love this mattress. I've read so many great reviews, so I'm not giving up. I know it's all about adjusting. I'm a side sleeper & the pain on my pressure points in my hips and shoulders are still there. I hope to return with a five star review. Ps: no to the freaky and super heavy pillows. Just no, don't buy them.

We have had our purple mattress for a couple of weeks now. For the first few nights sleeping on it i worke up so much more stiff and sore than before with our old mattress. My husband seemed unchanged. He liked the purple more than i. This mattress is ok to me. It isn't the best and it isn't the worst. It is just ok.

We are a Purple family! We had normal mattresses before that weren't cutting it. My husband would wake up with back ache every night until we switched to Purple. Once we upgraded, we never looked back and upgraded all the beds in the house to Purple. The kids sleep great, husband doesn't have back aches anymore, and I can adjust the bed to have him stop snoring. That's a win in my book.

I bought a purple bed, partly because it seemed different and partly because the advertising was funny. I mean really funny. That being said, this bed is no laughing matter. I bought a queen to replace my king memory foam bed. Decided I really wanted a king, so I gave the queen to my daughter. We fell in love with the King straight away. I have told the praises of this bed to many people and to date 6 families have bought on my recommendation. Since my first two beds (yes my daughter lovers hers) we have bought one for my son and his new wife, my mother in law that has since moved in with us. When we/she decided she needed to down size to allow more room in her bedroom we bought her a single bed. Everyone so fas has fallen in love with their beds. Just when you think maybe it was just hype and you really just were a victim of advertising go stay at a hotel or a friends house. You will be begging to come back to the purple and tell it how much you missed it. When you write the love letter to your bed and place it on the frame so it knows your love you will vow to never cheat on it again. Trust me. It is worth the investment for amazing sleep.

I can't say enough about this bed! I too like many others suffered from back pain that has only gotten worse after pregnancy. My previous bed made it unbearable having to go to the chiropractor at least 2 times a week. This bed keeps me aligned and it's completely comfortable. That gel layer is beyond supportive and I am going to get the seat cushion for sure. You have to get this bed. I'm 5'8" and am on the heavier side at 178 and it's still amazing even on my sides. Now if my baby could sleep in her own bed I'd sleep and prob never wake up lol. I just hope it stays durable and doesn't sink on both sides. So far so good
