I am rating this a 5 because first of all I think everyone I have talked to and been emailing at Purple have been OUTSTANDING! I had done a ton of online research on the million beds that are out there and I am so glad I went with the only one that is truly different. It sleeps firm yet comforting. There is less motion transfer with 2 people in it than my old tempurpedic. Also on me adjustable base you can feel the massage vibrations even better. I know it is very concerning to buy something like this without even touching it but with the 100 night guarantee you have to take the shot. You won't be disappointed. The pillow however is not for me but I have had no problem returning it at all because that is a 100 night trial as well.

We bought this when we got married and every morning my husband says "we have to get rid of this mattress, it's TOOOOO comfortable!!!!" It should say something that after two nights of sleeping on our bed while we were out of town on our honeymoon, my sister and her husband bought one and after having just laid on it once my parents bought one too. My father made the perfect observation when he said "it's not really a soft mattress, and it's not really a hard one either....it's kinda...just there" I wake up every morning feeling like I've had the perfect amount of sleep...rarely if ever do I wake up after a full night of sleep feeling groggy I can just pop right up and move on with my day which is saying something for this night owl. We LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE (all the heart eye emojis) our purple. I wish they made a pillow!! Can't say enough good things about it. BUY THIS MATTRESSS

At purchase, I put the chance of returning this mattress at 95%. My wife and I have totally opposite desires in a mattress. She wants to sink deep into a soft, warm, cozy nest of a bed hopefully to never have emerge again. Our old mattress was covered by a thick German featherbed for the cuddling sink factor and then she covered herself with a down comforter tucked just perfectly all around to "eliminate drafts." I wanted a somewhat firm bed to support my back and perfectly toned dad muscles. I also wanted a relatively cool bes since my body turns into an 8000 degree furnace the moment it goes horizontal. We both wanted a mattress that looked great and didn't break the bank. Pretty sure that wasn't possible in a mattress. Not sure how the Purple bends the laws of physics to accomplish both of these things at once, but it does. We're a couple months in and just gave away the featherbed. We still can't believe how much we both love this mattress.

First off, the mattress feels great. All pressure points are gone, neck pain is reduced, and my wife sleeps through the night even though I still roll around. You NEED to have someone carry it with you. It is very dense and heavy, but not impossible to move. It opens very easily if you follow the instructions, just make sure you have it in the location you want - it's pretty hard to move later. It really is ready to go within minutes of unwrapping. Even with it on the floor, we could tell the difference. The Purple gel cushions you and eliminates pressure points. I have even stopped using a pillow because there is so much support. The foam could even be a little thinner, but there is a lot more room to absorb and shock. I don't necessarily sleep better yet, but I sleep deeper. My wife would wake up when I would roll over but now she sleeps through. Some have complained that "the gel doesn't go all the way to the edge," but a square mattress would be weird, so it really is fine. Maybe the foam could be a tiny bit softer, but it is good how it is. I can't imagine that the 10 year warranty will be an issue, but customer service was quick and courteous, so I would not expect that to be any difference. Great mattress, but you can't move it by yourself. Feels like quality!

The fact that the mattress is shipped to you and literally takes three minutes to set-up is incredible. Honestly it's just not working out for me though, it's been over a month and every morning my lower back hurts so bad it is hard to even move to get out of bed. I'd return it but I've read it's a huge hassle if you didn't get the mattress cover, we'll see. The sheets are the best thing ever, just get the sheets.

I have been sleeping on this new purple mattress for a couple weeks now. it is soft, yet supportive and has just the right amount of bounce. My husband and I both really love it. our dog is also very much in love with our new mattress. Rudy the french bulldog would love to see a purple in his size someday!

The pain in my hip had gotten so bad, I was no longer able to sleep on my side. I didn't really believe a mattress could have that kind of effect on the body, so I chalked it up to aging. Even so, when my husband said he also found our mattress uncomfortable, I jumped at the chance to get a new one. Through YouTube reviews and a few word-of-mouth endorsements, we decided on The Purple Mattress. After sleeping on it for just a couple of weeks, the pain in my hip began to subside. And now I am back to comfortably sleeping on my side! Would highly recommend this product to anyone looking to get a good night's sleep!

When I first got this mattress I was a little skeptical. It felt strange to me. It also felt too soft. I like very firm mattresses, or at least I thought I did. The first night I slept on it I felt pain in my upper back, so I thought uh oh, maybe this mattress isn't going to work for me. I decided to keep giving the mattress a try, sure enough a week later still pain in the upper back. So instead of returning it I though well maybe I just need a new pillow. I used a different pillow the next night and sure enough I woke up in no pain. Not only do I not have pain, or wake up in the middle of the night, the circulation throughout my whole body has improved. My arms and legs do not feel numb in the morning anymore. My hips no longer feel like they are going to fall apart when I wake up in the morning and roll over. This mattress is definitely worth the money.

I have three ruptured discs and a spinal fracture and I haven't been able to wake up feeling rested in years. I would find myself dragging myself out of bed no matter how much sleep I got. I feel like this is the first mattress that I can wake up and actually get out of bed because I am actually rested. Came back and bought the seat cushion for work as well :)

I took a chance and I purchased everything all at once the mattress the mattress protector the sheets 2 pillows and the platform base and I have to say it's the best investment ever it's the most comfortable bed I ever slept on and the sheets are amazing. I highly recommend this company for its products. Thank you purple for the best mattress pillow and sheets.
