I owned the Original Purple Mattress prior to the upgrade and loved it so much I decided to switch my kids mattress to Purple, as well. The upgraded version does not disappoint! I thought there would never be a mattress more comfortable than mine, until I slept on my kids newer version. If you are on the fence about making this purchase, go ahead and jump this way! You'll only regret that you'll never want to sleep in a bed that's not yours.

When I was reading the reviews of the bed it was too soft, too hard, too hot and too cold. That's when you know you've made a good bed. I'd be more worried if everyone had the same answer. I toss and turn much less and get good quality sleep. Looks like we will be keeping it and the seat cushion.

I've been sleeping on a sofa couch for the past year since moving back home. In retrospect, it's been the pits! I saw the purple ad on youtube and decided my room needed a makeover. Out with the old, in with the new! The best part of my room makeover is my purple mattress! Looking to buy the purple mattress protector cover and a purple pillow :-)

I am genuinely happy for those people had posted reviews claiming they had their best night's sleep ever. Points for the improved back support but there are still way too many pressure points and not that much of an improvement on my previous bedding. The quality of my sleep hasn't improved much. I'll be contacting Purple soon for a return.

The first time I sat on the bed I was like "oh no" because it was so DIFFERENT. You can feel the soft, squishy grid. You feel yourself sinking and you're like "well, crap. this is going to suck." BUT THEN you lay down and magically the sinking stops. And you're like, "What is this weird mattress thing?!?!?! Why does it work??" Basically I haven't had a bad night's sleep since we've gotten it. My boyfriend has a broken femur that's been healing. We bought purple because he wasn't able to sleep through the night on our old mattress. His hip would lock up and it wasn't awesome. He was getting up 2-3 times a night. Now? He sleeps until 10am! Hotel beds suck in comparison. Seriously. We both, independently, missed our mattress when we went on vacation. What else... * The mattress is super heavy. Putting sheets on it is a bit of a pain because you have to lift the corners. * Putting pressure on one spot doesn't make the entire bed sink. Example: I can jump into bed like a flying squirrel and the mattress doesn't move/boyfriend doesn't roll into me. * Paying for it didn't suck because I don't mind financing it. * I may have bought this mattress on my phone in the backseat of a car without telling my bf. I explained that their return policy is "they'll pick it up after 100 days and take it to a shelter" and that seemed to make it all better. (obv not returning this mattress tho) That's all I got. I have neck and back injuries and have gone through numerous mattresses, covers, pads etc. I spent 1 night on my Purple Hybrid Premier King 4 and I can honestly tell you, in that 1 night my life changed. Call me "over dramatic" but I am not exaggerating!

The purple mattress protector sucks it's poor quality!! My year old daughter slept on our bed the 1st 3 nights we had it she and accidentally leak through her diaper when she was sleeping we bought the protector to protect the bed from her leaking And it leaked right through the the bed protector why did we pay so much money for a protected from purple for our purple matters if it's not even gonna work

We have had the original purple mattress now for about a year. We were very excited because of all the reviews and that it said it was great for all sleep types. My husband is a stomach or back sleeper. I'm a side sleeper. He loves it! Me, not so much. Too firm. He was sweet and gave into a 2" gel topper. Much better!

I love how comfortable my bed is now. Not a joke, not an exaggeration - it really is the best sleep I've ever gotten. We've had the Purple Mattress for about 5 months now and haven't had a tossing or turning night since. I love it, I recommend it, and I'm going to buy another one soon!

I have been sleeping on this bed about 60 days. Its alot firmer than I thought but its still nice. I wanted something over a spring mattress that had good air flow. Im a side sleeper and frequently would wake up in the middle of the night because my arm would fall asleep. I have only experienced this once with this bed. The bed is comfortable and I have noticed I don't get hot like I would before. I ordered the queen size and found it to be shorter than my traditional mattress, by about 2 inches. Im 6ft, 200 lbs and I take up the entire length. I plan on checking the comfort level of other beds in a store to decide if I am going to keep this one.
