I've been sleeping on a twin sized hand me down bed my whole life. (Age 23 now) At 6'4 my legs dangling off the bed always ready to be taken by any monster hidden underneath, I figured it was time to make an investment on an amazing bed. The purple ads captivated me in purchasing a mattress for myself. I got the purple 4 queen sized mattress, base, plush pillows, original pillow, sheets... the WHOLE SHABANG! It may have drained my McDonald's working ahh's savings but it didn't drain my sleep. Also back in the gym and one of the most important aspects in building muscle is proper sleep. With purple i find it hard sometimes to fully wake up but when I do I have energy for the whole day. I love my purple products. I've been making all kinds of sleep gains.

I ended up loving my pillow, just not from the get. It had an odor so I had to leave it outside for a couple of days to eliminate the smell. Then I was disappointed you had to blow up a raft for lack of a better description to get it to the correct height. Then the raft got a hole and now that is trash and the pillow is an inch too low for me . I do love it still tho..however, I have not yet found a replacement raft, I just wish they would cut it an inch taller to start.

It's just as amazing as it's nearly perfect 5-star rating would have you believe! The sheets and the mattress protector are definitely worth the purchase too - we tried sleeping on it with our old mattress protector, and it definitely impacted the comfort of the mattress. The sheets and the mattress protector that purple sells are extra stretchy, which makes them super comfy, AND it lets you take full advantage of the way the mattress gives and supports you in all the right ways!

We have had our mattress so far for 30 days and it's wonderful. You can already tell the difference in the pressure points on your body. My husband and I often toss and turn a lot in bed. I believe it was because we are slide sleepers and you can start to feel the pressure on your shoulders, so we flip around a lot. With this bed I did not notice that same problem. Side sleeping and there is no pain. so far so good.

I was looking forward to receiving this mattress based on the good reviews I read. I finally got it 3 weeks later. I've been sleeping on it for 1.5 weeks and it's still super firm. It barely has any give in the mattress. This mattress was advertised as being the perfect balance of soft and firm, but it was definitely like sleeping on wood plank.

While it did take a few days to become accustomed to the support of the Purple mattress, once accustomed to it I can honestly say there is not another mattress like a Purple mattress. I used to wake up sore and in awkward positions but with the Purple mattress I sleep soundly through the night without moving.

My discs have been slowly herniating since I was 17. I think I have 5 now that are messed up (congenital problem). I've gotten pretty good about ignoring the pain and just managing it, but the thing is, the type of bed I have can make it a lot worse. I've tried TempurPedic (sucked, memory foam in it started breaking down after ONE WEEK), Sleep Number (about like sleeping on a Ziploc bag, not at all comfortable, and the bags apparently get leaks very easily), and honestly the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on thus far was a regular lumpy old mattress. Until I found Purple! I didn't even test it out in the store; I watched the videos, talked to people who had them, and decided to take a chance. I've been sleeping on a Sleep Number for the last 4 months, and I wake up worse every morning. I got my Purple 2 mattress yesterday, and after one night of sleeping on it, I was amazed that I didn't wake up in excruciating pain as per the norm. I'm very excited. It's very comfortable, and I'm glad I got the really soft one because it seems to offer more support while still being pretty firm so it's just right. I bought the King size, the platform, and the pillow. I'm glad I got the King because now my kids want to sleep on it AND hang out on it during the day 24/7, so there's still plenty of room for me. The only complaint I have is that I wish the pillow was a little taller. I have pretty broad shoulders, but the pillow is really short. It's comfortable, it's just my head and neck aren't supported high enough when I'm on my side. My kids have been sleeping on it, though, and it seems to fit really well for them because they're smaller. I think I might try folding it in half and seeing if that gives it enough height to be comfortable.

This is our second Purple mattress, the first one we returned because it too was terrible. My husband and I wake up everyday with back pain. It feels like we are sleeping on the frame or the floor. Some days I wake it and I can't even walk my back is hurting so bad! When we had these issues with the first mattress we were told it was from "a bad batch of foam". We didn't understand that, but we thought we'd give it another try with a replacement mattress. I guess all their foam is "a bad batch" then. We also have the frame and it's terrible. The bed squeaks so bad! We can't even move an arm without waking each other up with the noise. When I woke up this morning I told my husband that I regret getting this Purple bed.

We just bought a second home and the first thing we purchased for it was a Purple. No hesitation. We've been sleeping on one for 4-5 years and never even considered buying a different bed. I also bought the harmony pillows and they're great. We have some Malouf latex pillows at home and these are very similar with the addition of the "grid" which helps stay cool. Now, we sleep just as good in either house!

Was a little cautious in buying a bed you could not personally test out. After going to a local mattress store and realizing how much a regular bed would cost me. I was blown away! Took the risk, bought the bed. BEST DECISION EVER! It was easy fast and the quality is great.
