My wife and I decided to try the Purple mattress when they still had just one version. About a week after we bought ours they launched a new offering of 3 mattress types. A week later they cut this to 2, so I am not sure they are really convinced what they want! As with many couples we need a middle ground; I would be happy sleeping in a rock, my wife needs pressure point relief. So the purple mattress concepts attempts better than most to address both pressure point relief and support. My wife is extremely happy with the mattress; I remain shocked still every night, now nearly 3 weeks on, as to how soft it feels at first. I sleep primarily on my back, and I wake up feeling fine, so I presume I am getting the support needed in my back. But I can say honestly that I still find the feeling of the mattress crazy soft. But I love traveling to China just to sleep on their mattresses, which are like wooden boards, so maybe I am not the best one to ask for an opinion. Two other comments, our king sized mattress does not have handles, and that is a huge negative; admittedly it is not something you move often, but if you need to do it once, without handles, it is really hard (remember as Purple likes to point out - it weighs 145 pounds!); so add some common sense to all the engineering know-how guys! Secondly, when you unroll it, it is upside down...it weighs 145 pounds, it is roughly;y 7 feet by 7 feet, and has NO HANDLES; not so easy to flip it. Another common-sense shortcoming. In summary, I think the jury is still out. I am very concerned about long term (3 year plus) durability resilience. It is a comfortable sleep, but I am hardly blown away by it. Time will be the real test. I can tell you that both my wife and dog are far more enthusiastic though than I, so that's a good thing. Last advice, follow your competitors and launch a doggy bed too.

I ordered a Purple Mattress based on the recommendation from a friend. He has similar back problems and same sleeping issues. He is sleeping well with his Purple Mattress. I received and started using my mattress on Feb 14. As of today, Mar 13, I have only had 1 night that I could use it for 8 hours, and that was not restful sleep. On the other nights bedtime ranged from 2 to 6 hours and then back pains forced me to retreat to a recliner for the rest of the night. I have slept on a recliner for several years. I am going to take a break from the Purple Mattress for a week and then try again. I am skeptical about making it work for me. So far my recliner is superior to the Purple Mattress.

It is a good bed compared to my last one I do get more sleep but it didn't live up to the hype and there are dips in the bed has me wondering what you guys do with the returned beds. Considered upgrading but I don't think it'll actually be better I'm also considering other beds and still doing research still have time to fall in love But doesn't look good so far

From Day 1, this mattress has provided a great night sleep, painless mornings and the want to stay in bed all day, which might be the only downside! When I received the mattress I had to get my own sheets because Purple had not shipped theirs yet and once I got those, I honestly liked the other sheets better. The purple sheets did not seem big enough for the bed, even though they were stating how "Stretchy" they were. Great mattress and make sure you get the Mattress Protector!

This is not your average mattress. Do not be mislead, it's not plush or fluffy but boy does it work!! Husband and I have had a high pillow top mattress for the past 5 years and it's super welcoming but my shoulder pain was only getting worse and impacting not only sleep but my whole day. Physical Therapy didn't work so I Decided to try a new mattress. We are so happy we tried Purple. This is a sturdy, somewhat firm mattress but the conforming support is amazing!! It might take a little getting used to at first since it's not plush, it's not high and it doesn't have bells and whistles but for me it has helped my sleep and my day altogether! It is also great at absorbing movement. Thanks Purple!!

We have a king Purple mattress that we purchased 4 years ago. Love it! Our daughter has developed back pain that she now see a Chiropractor for relief. We just purchased her a Queen Purple mattress, we see improvements were done. She loves it, and so does her back.

We have been using the Purple bed for 3 years. We talked my parents into getting one. My dad is a roofer and he tore some things in his shoulder many years ago when he fell off and caught himself with one hand. He never got his shoulder fixed and had to sleep on the chair because of the pain. Then it got better, but he could never sleep on his sides, Only his back or the pain would come back. They have had the Purple bed for a month and he LOVES IT. He is back to sleeping all night, however he wants without feeling the pain! AMAZING!!! If I knew it would have been that life changing for him, we would have gotten him one years ago!!!!

I was so excited to receive my Provo mattress and the first month was great the second month I started noticing my back and neck pain getting worse I went to them and they told me I needed to get stretchy sheets and now they provided a stretchy mattress so I bought both of them and still I couldn't get comfortable I called to return and they told me that I was 11 days over my hundred days. And that they start the time from the day you purchase it I didn't use it until about 20 days after I purchased it and they wouldn't let me return it. The customer service is just as bad as the mattress it seems comfortable AT the beginning but it is hard,HOT, SOILD AS A ROCK! I tried to do exactly what they told me and it didn't work so not only am i into it what I purchase the mattress for but also their special sheets and also the mattress cover. I honestly wasn't watching my hundred day window I was trying to find a mattress that fit me and a company that would work with me and this was not a fit for me mattress or company

We got it for my mom who has a bad back and neck, and has had several surgeries on both. Her bed hurts her so we got her a purple to help her pain. Unfortunately we could only afford the basic and is actually caused her more pain than her bed she currently uses. My son however does love it and when I lay on it it does help my hip. We love the bed but wish it would have worked for my mom like intended.

This mattress is great! I used to have a hard time getting out of bed because my back hurt. But I'm still sleeping in weird positions and I feel fine. I got the most basic mattress, which I am happy with, but I'll give it 4 stars because I wish it was just a bit softer. Maybe when I'm ready to toss this one I'll upgrade to one of the fancier options Purple has and like it better. All in all, pretty good for what I'd budgeted. I'm happy.
