We have both gotten a better night of sleep since we got our new bed. We would have given a 5 star but for one issue with the mattress. It feels like it's arched. The middle is higher than the sides. It's definitely noticable it feels like we're about to roll off the bed.

I am enjoying my new purple mattress. It is a quality product, matching all its claims. I do notice I fall asleep more readily and sleep longer. However, it is firmer than I would have liked. The description as "medium" firmness is not quite right: "medium-firm" would be better. As one reviewer noted, you sleep on rather than "in" this mattress. For me, that means some shoulder discomfort. Otherwise, a great product.

The buying experience was super easy, the price was significantly cheaper than the other mattresses we were interested in (temperpedic), and it arrived in a reasonable timeframe. We went with purple based on adds and the personal reviews from friends. The mattress is comfortable on our stomachs, sides and backs. No complaints thus far and I'd highly recommend purple for anyone in the market for a mattress.

We've had our new Purple for just over a month and we love it! - It came faster than expected - It unpacked easily (even came with a tool to cut the plastic :-) - It was ready to use right away - We can sleep in any position and still feel both comfortable and well-supported! - We got both a set of sheets and the protector as well. The sheets are more stretchy than other sheets and you can wrap yourself into them if you desire. The protector is so flexible we can't tell it's there. Would definitely recommend! I can't even think of anything negative to add!

We've been sleeping on a purple now for 2.5 weeks and so far we absolutely love this mattress AND the sheets. Most comfortable sheets I've ever slept in. Just wish the new thicker beds were not so expensive as I probably would've done a Purple 3 for the thicker Purple layer, but we still love the original that we got.

I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia 4 years ago and have had difficulty with sleeping. I bought a king sized Purple last year when I was with my boyfriend and ended up leaving, without the mattress. I took our queen size memory foam mattress and ended up not sleeping well again. I just bought Purple again, and am having the best sleep of my life. I feel like I am sleeping on a cloud (i've never slept on a cloud, but if I ever do, i'm sure it would feel the same as Purple). I am a physical therapist and I recommend this mattress to my patients who are looking into purchasing a new mattress. I highly recommend!

I did the research... I run hot "sauna hot", I'm a back sleeper & I wake up in pain every day. I finally saved enough money to buy the best bed for me& my back. When my bed arrived I was home alone and could not figure out how to open my mattress. I called my purple family for help on how to open and got the best tips!!! Open window, let the Matress air out w/out sheets on the bed for 2 hrs and it's worth the wait. Best sleep of my life no more night sweats, no more pain, no mor waking up in the middle of the night. Thank you purple. Extra shout out to my new best friend Madison @ purple who made sure that I did everything right to start my best sleep!

I was excited to buy the purple mattress after reading the online buzz and watching the neat videos behind the technology. The technology is what hooked me. The first few nights I slept on the mattress it felt extra firm to me, but from the moment I first laid down on it until now I can feel the support that Purple has been talking about. I'm giving the mattress four stars right now more because I believe my body is not used to the mattress. It's feeling better and better as time goes on. Each night is getting better and better. I think I'll be able to move the rating up a star within the next couple of weeks! Thanks Purple. Oh my aches and pains have gone away too due to my old spring mattress.

Hands down the best mattress I've ever owned. It took about two nights for my wife and I to get accustomed to the the cover of the Purple bed; it's nothing horrible but like everything that is new you feel the contours of mattress cover. We love this bed!

Pros: The purple mattress doesn't hold heat as much as the temperpedic-style mattresses. The layers of the mattress make it feel soft then firmer when pressing down on it. Cons: I'm about 300lbs. After a night of sleep, the mattress no longer supports well. Despite the advertising where weight doesn't matter; it does. I've also noticed the mattress is already showing signs of 'welling" (not coming back to flat) after six months. The compression that allows shipping becomes a problem for mattress wear over time & the mattress doesn't recover from repeated compression (sleeping on it). Would I buy it again? Probably not. I prefer a firmer mattress that will hold up longer.
