We have ordered the Frame and the Bed and then later ordered the Pillows. I delayed the review until I received the pillows. I feel that the pillows made a significant difference in our sleep. If you have a partner who is disturbed every time you get up to go to the bathroom during the night then this bed will definitely help. Prior to this bed my wife would complain and sigh everytime I left the bed even in the slightest degree - after onpurple bed she keeps right on sleeping. (Makes for a less grumpy spouse). I wish we could afford the adjustable frame but now this will do. I enjoy the bed and plan to purchase the booty pad - hope you enjoy this too!

Absolutely fantastic mattress - especially for a person with serious scoliosis and chronic back pain. After sleeping on memory foam for years, the Purple mattress felt just as comfortable without all of the excess heat buildup. My only complaint is that, because the mattress and mattress protector are so flexible, I needed to buy a new fitted sheet because my stiff old one kept popping off at the corners. Now with a nice jersey sheet, I'm more than comfortable.

Honestly, the ads are correct. It's pretty impressive, but the purple material really does collapse where you need it to, to provide cushioning and softness to eliminate pressure points and pain, while still remaining supportive everywhere else. Side, stomach, or back sleeping are significantly more comfortable than my foam mattress was. I can lay down on my back, without a pillow, and my low back, knees, and neck feel supported. I've never felt that from a mattress before. Would definitely recommend (actually, I have recommended it numerous times already).

This is by far the best mattress I have ever purchased. And it was a lot cheaper than I was planning on paying for a king size bed. I don't wake up sore anymore and the mattress does not retain heat like my old one did. My wife and I are beyond happy with this purchase!

I purchased the duvet comforter, didn't like it, it was still hot even though it says its "lightweight". It makes noise when you turn or move. Anyways, i go to return it and they say "oh sure, no worries, but the SHIPPING is the customers responsibility". So they will give you a refund but YOU have to PAY to ship it back and its a comforter, its not like you can put a stamp on it and send it back. You will spend 1/3 or up to 1/2 of your money trying to return it to them. Very disappointing. I've tried Casper and Puffy and they both were great with returns, 100%, not Purple. Don't buy unless you're 100% sure you will keep it.

I got the original Purple mattress with the mattress protector and sheets. They have been great and I especially love the stretchy sheets. So comfy! I am a hot sleeper and I now sleep much cooler compared to my prior memory foam mattress. Hips and shoulders no longer hurt when I wake up.

Pretty sure this is the only bed on the market that gives you the comfy sinking-in experience without waking up drenched in sweat. It's not entirely temperature neutral, but definitely stays much cooler than other mattresses I've tried. Make sure you get the Purple sheets, they are unbelievably comfortable.

First, I don't usually right reviews unless I'm extremely dissatisfied or extremely satisfied. it's important to understand that there could be other mattresses out there that would have given me the same result. I don't know and I will probably never find out because I'm NOT buying another mattress brand for a very long time. I bought my mattress in October 2017. The reason why I was interested in a new mattress is because the 2-year 'new' mattress that I had was giving me back problems. They weren't severe back problems but every morning I would have to stretch before leaving the room or even going to take a shower. The pain was gradually getting worse over the course of maybe a year or a little more. Additionally, I had injured my knee playing basketball in late 2016. Considering my age (early 40's), I thought my knee and back pains were mostly due to aging. I figured my body wasn't as capable at repairing itself through the night like it used to. In late 2017 my knee pain was getting much worse to the point where I had to ice it almost daily and had to undergo physical therapy 2-3 times per week. I continued to play basketball on it which didn't help at all (but I love the game...so I'll play until I can't play anymore). Physical therapy would help a little but it would still swell and some days I could barely walk up and down stairs. What does this have to do with the bed? I researched mattress for more than 6 months before deciding on trying Purple. I thought if I could reduce the back problems maybe it would help me isolate the knee issue I had. This is the part were you won't believe what happened and you'll wonder if this is even a real review. It took only one week and my back and knee problems significantly decreased (almost completely gone)! My legs had a very strange, uncomfortable tingling sensation for the first 5 days. I was close to just returning it because it was so uncomfortable. But by the end of the first week, my body had acclimated to the bed and I've been sleeping well ever since. It's been over 3 months now and I absolutely love the bed. I do have some issues side sleeping or sleeping on my stomach on occasion but I think it's because I don't sleep on my side as much and I haven't adjusted to those positions yet. I'm not going to say this bed is for everyone, but for me, it's been life changing! I can play basketball once again at a level I haven't played in 10 years. I can get out of bed and go straight into any activity without doing stretch routines. Almost all of my knee pain has gone away. What's left of the pain is due to the original injury with a small tear in my meniscus. I recommend this bed to anyone! Particularly, if you are athletic, in your late 30's to early 40's and suffer from unexplained back pain every morning, this bed is for you! Just like Purple says, make sure you give yourself time to adjust as you'll likely experience a different kind of pain (or uncomfortable feeling) in the first few days or possibly weeks. And with the 100 days return policy, you can't go wrong! Also, I purchased their pillow and power-base. My wife and I love the power-base! The pillow works for me (not life changing) and doesn't work for my wife (note - the pillow is heavy and shouldn't be used for pillow fighting with your kids; unless you're punishing them for bad grades or not cleaning their room). My oldest Son and I drive team semi 4600 miles over our bumpy roads in 4 days each week. When one drives the other one tries to sleep with out the Purple Mattress and Pillow we could not get our sleep. Once we invested in the Purple Mattress and Pillows we found that most of the shock from the horrible roads is absorbed by the Purple Mattress and Pillow. Now we are finally able to get a much better sleep day or night. We both highly recommend The Purple Mattress and Pillows to OTR truckers and I'm sure it would be even better at home.

We upgraded from an older memory foam mattress. This is definitely better than that. But it's not the perfect mattress. We may try to do one of the upgraded Purple models. Maybe the .3. The mattress is a little smaller than advertised (height wise). And there's the feeling you have to get adjusted to when you first lay on it (the hyper elastic polymer grid). One good thing is there is not a lot of motion transfer, and that was impacting my wife and I a lot when someone rolls/turns over. Overall I would recommend it, but we are still not 100% satisfied yet.
