My husband and I were shopping around for a new king sized mattress, and a friend of ours was raving about his new purple mattress. He said it's great for not getting too hot (which was important to my husband) and back pain (which was important to me). We ordered the original, and it's fine. It arrived on time, packaged in a way that getting it up the driveway and upstairs was easy even though it's heavy. It's just not as comfortable as some reviews made it out to be. Certain nights my back actually hurts more than it did with our old temperpedic. They will take it back within 100 nights, but when I looked at their return policy, you're responsible for returning it, and I have ZERO idea how I'd return a king sized mattress via UPS. We also picked the pillow as our free gift (AVOID). It's super uncomfortable unless you're a back sleeper.

I have medical issues and haven't had a great nights sleep in over 5 years. I took a leap of faith and purchased the Purple mattress. I did a lot of research before buying this brand. It seemed to me that this was the better buy of them all. Let me tell you that the very first night I slept on it was the beginning of a great relationship. I had just moved and I could literally hardly walk. I'm disabled and couldn't believe it when I woke up the first morning after a WONDERFUL nights rest. I usually wake up 3-4 times a night and try to get back to sleep. I only woke up 1 time and not because I couldn't sleep.(older people know what I mean). I got out of bed and couldn't believe how I felt. I had so little pain in my legs and back that I thought I was almost normal again and not as sick. All I can say is you need to take the chance and at least try the Purple mattress. Trust me your body will love you for it.

So far I notice that i physically feel better in the morning. Back pain is not really an issue. Its so comfortable I'm not rolling over as much or at least I'm not realizing it. I have two little dogs and they also appreciate the mattress when the get to hop up on it. Also the entire time i dealt with purple from beginning to end was fantastic. Great customer service. I really thank the purple team for their appreciation of the military and that they were able to answer questions for me without a bunch of mumbo jumbo.

I really wanted to love this mattress, between Goldilocks and all of the "science" tests I was hoping it was the last mattress I'd have to buy ( at least for a while ). I tried it for 60 nights but it was to firm for me. I toss and turn every night now. I don't know if I received a defective model or what but I'm going to start up the refund process shortly.

We bought our son (who is also the guest room) a queen to try out and we all slept on it different nights and really liked it so we got the king for us in the master and it's fantastic. In fact my neighbor came over and laid on it and bought one too and really likes it. Lastly, we had some guests on it for a week and her back was hurting from the hotel bed and after sleeping on the purple mattress she said it was much better!

I've had an original king for over a year and I'm absolutely in love with it. I've had back problems in the past and my Purple bed is the ONLY bed I can sleep on and have relief. It will change your life. Truly everything they promise, their products are top notch! If you are on the fence, get off and buy the bed!!! You WILL love it.

Bed is very supportive and comfortable. I'm looking at purchasing a king mattress and will likely replace all kid beds in the future with Purple. I also like the pillow. It is unconventional and can even feel awkward but gives me the best nights sleep waking up without a stiff neck.

I honestly didn't enjoy sleeping on the mattress for the first week and my wife hated it for the first two weeks. After the adjustment period we fell in love with this mattress. Highly recommended. A little on the firm side but the support is outstanding and it makes side sleeping a dream.

My boyfriend purchased this mattress to appease my relentless complaining of his 4 times hand me down, 25+ yr old beauty rest... soooo... it was better than that I guess HAHA. BUT I had spent the 4 yrs previous on a very nice temperpedic and lets just say there is NO comparison. With mattresses you get what you pay for. Probably would not purchase again.

I normally am not the type of person to be talking about my mattress often however this mattress is incredible. I have told all my coworkers and even my boss about this mattress. Literally everyone I talk to I tell them about the purple mattress. It really is different than any other mattress I've had (the ads really are true). It's incredible and I recommend it to everyone who wants a fantastic night of sleep
