I've got hip issues and wide hips, that coupled with the fact that I'm a side sleeper means I'm often very uncomfortable in most beds. I fall asleep almost instantly on my purple mattress, and sleep through the night. I recommend getting a waterproof mattress topper. Recommend this to all my side sleeping friends

I had a decent mattress, but was too firm and was forced to sleep on my back... Being a lifelong side-sleeper, this in itself was awkward. I wish I didn't wait so long:/ Having attractive financing options through Affirm, and the no hassle trial period made this purchase a no-brainer. I've had it for about 2 months now, I sleep very sound in any position. Um... It's also coitus friendly, haha;) It has a lil rebound to it, compared to a motion robbing black hole memory foam mattress I had a few years ago. sO Fn Happy with my PURPLE purchase!!

Forget 100 days, I am never giving this thing up! In all honesty, it took like a week to get used to the different kind of support (I felt like I was falling, I guess because the directional give?). But now, I couldn't be happier. I think I'm on my third month now with the V2 mattress, and still every time I casually sit atop it, or climb into it, I am surprised with how comfortable it is. My husband prefers firm and I prefer pillowy-soft and with this thing there's no rock feeling, and no suffocation feeling, yet it's still as luxy-comfy as can be to both of us. I told the customer care team that reached out to see how I'm doing with it that I can't stop raving. I even leave my squishy sample on my desk at work to evangelize because I love it so much. You guys give referral bonuses?

I am a side sleeper and often wake up with sore shoulders and sometimes hips. I had a bed-in-the-box memory foam bed that was highly recommended but still had problems. I spent 5 months researching and re-researching all the various online mattresses and it looked like Purple was supposed to be one of the best for side sleepers and finally I thought I would take a chance on it since it was NOT a memory foam bed. I have been sleeping on it for about 3 weeks not and honestly can't say it is much better then the memory foam bed I had before. Still wake up with sore shoulders and knees. I am hoping it will improve but not sure it will.

I've had my Purple for a year and a half. Im single and a side/ stomach sleeper. The sheets got a small hole within a couple months, then several holes that grew over time. They are stretchy and cool but the rubbery grid if the mattress will eventually tear them up, as well as any normal sheets you try to use. This mattress is HEAVY and at least when I bought mine, has NO handles. If you sleep in the same spot night after night, you will need to rotate the mattress every few months to prevent an imprint of your shape making a lump there. Hard to do when you have no grip on the mattress. It also slides fairly easy on the Purple base, which is good when rotating but not good when you have to readjust it to the base by yourself with no handles. The mattress itself is comfortable, does give support in a firm way but does not hurt my knees when stomach sleeping. When I attempt to sleep more than 7 or 8 hours, I do have back discomfort and sometimes hip discomfort. Overall it's a good purchase but I'm not sure if I will continue with Purple for my next mattress. The thick seat cushion with pelvic relief has been a lifesaver in my office chair. Worth the money.

The Purple mattress is amazing. I used to have a mattress that was too firm and unforgiving. I'd wake up stiff and sore, so I knew I had to try something new. I liked the idea that Purple's original mattress doesn't have springs and molds to your body. Since it adjusts to my body I can sleep comfortably no matter what position I'm in. My joints are much happier. I highly recommend this mattress to anyone wanting to make a change. You shouldn't wake up in pain. The mattress isn't cheap but it's an investment in your health.

I had a great experience with my Original purple mattress, however; it is not the right mattress for me. I have had issues with my back for years, I am a side sleeper, and can never get comfortable enough. For the first couple of months I thought the bed was heavenly, until about the 6 month mark if having the bed and feeling like my back was supinating, more or less sinking in the bed . Literally not even being able to fall asleep. There are not enough pillows to make this mattress to put behind my back to make this bed firm enough. For my other half who can sleep on a cardboard box and be happy, he is just fine. Me on the other hand, I am sleeping in on guest bedroom until we can get a firmer mattress. I hope this helps someone.

I have been having major back pains when sleeping and read a lot of reviews about the purple bed. While my back pain has decreased, it's still there. I'm going to give the bed a bit longer to see what happens. I did have some hip joint pains a bit during the first week of sleeping on this new bed, but that has subsided and I've read that's normal while my body adjusts to the bed. So the verdict is still out, but I still have a good feeling about this purchase.

We love our new bed I don't think either of us have ever slept so good! It was uncomfortable for the first couple of nights but after sleeping on the same crappy mattress my whole life then suddenly changing to the purple it was expected! We recommend it to everyone! 100% worth the money.

Our mattress was delivered three weeks earlier than expected! Since sleeping on the mattress for about a month I'm still a little torn on how to feel. It's definitely comfortable, although I find that I don't sink into the mattress evenly. For example, when laying on my side my ankles are often popped up off the mattress or when laying on my back I find my butt to sink in to a borderline uncomfortable arch for my back.
