I heard a lot of good things about the purple mattress so I thought I would order it but it is not for me I am a side sleeper and I thought because it was so soft that it would help but I was waking up with back aches and shoulder pain I thought if I just needed to get used to it but the more I slept on it the worse my back and shoulder pain got sorry to say purple bed is just not for me I probably need something firmer

From day one I have loved this bed. When I first opened the mattress there was a slight chemical smell, but that dissipated quickly and I didn't notice it the first night I slept on it. It's different than sleeping on my old pillow top mattress but no aches or pains when I wake up. Awesome mattress.

Through these first three years of my marriage, cuddling was nothing more than 5 sweet minutes of blissful affection. After said 5 minutes, I would be pushed off framed as a space heater that makes the bed too hot for such closeness. I thank purple every night as now my husband rarely ever gets too hot and now what was once just a tease of needed human touch is now fulfilled every night! The ONLY downside is our dogs also LOVE how comfy y'all's mattresses and after we tell them to get off, they'll wait till we fall asleep to jump back on and hog all the space and we bought a king!!! Sheets are amazingly soft and NEVER wrinkle on us which i hate about fitted sheets! And LASTLY, the pillows are amazing! We were confused with all the bad reviews we saw about them, but figured they must of bought the 7.5" pillows thinking they must of thought the were better cause theyre bigger? We bought the 6.5 cause we sleep on our stomachs and backs a lot and theyre suuuuuuuper comfy! Im also a somewhat sode sleeper and they were still comfy! Like acloud pillow!!

Took a few weeks to get used to but once my back got adjusted to the bed it's been awesome. Sheets are awesome! The only downfalls are delivery times could be better and updated site inventory would be nice. I tried to order a mattress cover and the site said sold out but when I sent an email customer service was like give us a call and we will get out for you. I checked the site next day and all of the sudden you can buy the cover so I guess that means their customer service is pretty good. I should have complained two weeks prior when I originally tried to order it.

We bought our Purple mattress in January, after glowing recommendations from some friends. I had been researching mattress companies for months and was determined to buy from a different company, but with the 100 day guarantee, and the reviews we decided to go with Purple instead. I haven't looked back once. I love that I can sink into the mattress for comfort, but then it still offers more support than any other bed I've laid on, including ones 3x the cost. My only complaint is that I had never before noticed how uncomfortable my pillow was. Now if there was a pillow to match the comfort level of the mattress, I would never get out of my bed. As a side note, the little sample of the purple that comes with the mattress has been a wonderful stress relieving toy. I carry it everywhere! The best is that I teach a Sunday school class of 11-12 year olds. These little squishies, as they call them have been a God send. It keeps their hands busy, so their minds can be engaged in the lesson. Of course we've had some fun with them too. They shoot pretty far across the room when stretched out. I would love to find a way to get more!

My son loved it, but me? Not so much. My hips sank into it noticeably more than the rest of me, so it caused stress on my lower back. I am in my 50's, and so I think I am getting too old, whereas, my son is in his 20's (I can't sleep on my stomach, anymore, like he can), and I expect that he will be buying one, when he moves out. I live in a small town, and for the return, I donated the mattress to a local church. Purple promptly refunded the purchase price. I'm sorry that it didn't work out, but I am glad that I tried it.

We've had the Purple mattress for about 3 weeks and are sleeping well. My wife is petite, sleeps on her side and is happy. I'm about 150 lbs, sleep on my back and am also sleeping well. The support is very good. I also find the edge support to be better than expected and not an issue. My only remaining question is whether I'd like a little more of a memory foam "hugging" feeling from the top layer. I find that memory foam toppers give a feeling of comfort while falling asleep and the Purple does not have that feeling. My wife is very happy with the fact this bed does not sleep hot as that is her main objection to memory foams. So for now, our feeling is that the Purple mattress is very good, but I'm still trying to figure out whether I want a top layer that hugs me to create that feeling of softness while falling asleep.

I don't normally write reviews. I have to say though, I feel so strongly about your mattress. We bought it about 30 days ago. I can never go back to a regular mattress. I've tried Tempur Pedic, Sealy, etc mattresses. I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE your mattress. I was so nervous buying a mattress online. I almost cancelled prior to it coming to me. I am so glad I didn't. My husband loves stiff mattresses and I love Soft mattresses. I don't know how you do it, but he and I are both loving the mattress. I can never go back, and I tell everyone I meet to come and try my mattress!!! I think you are all doing a great job and keep up the quality and service. I love your product!! I will continue with this for the next 10 years.. and when I"m up for a new one, I will definitely come back!

We had a Sleep Number bed that gradually 'sunk' in the middle. It was destroying our backs! I did lots of research on online mattress sites and ended up choosing Purple because of the flexible, supportive grid system (plus: it's purple!) Our new Purple mattress is flat and level, and feels so nice and supportive. We're very happy we switched!

For me personally, Purple was a 3.5 out of 5. I give it a 4 however because I personally prefer a softer bed and I expected purple to be a little more on the softer side. I'm not a heavy guy, but I do have minor back issues and purple is just seems a little too firm for my weight. I can easily see how others would enjoy it, however. I think yall got a good thing going.
