We have had our purple original now for a couple weeks. This is def not a bed for a back sleeper. I do not feel any contouring from the bed at all when on my back. I do tend to sleep more on my side and that seems to get a little relief as I have a lot of lower back pain. I will say, I do believe I sleep cooler than the memory foam we had prior as I have not woke up with sweat all over my head and neck since we have had the purple. My husband said he sleeps hard since having the purple so I think he likes it better. I'll give this a couple more weeks to decide and a trip or two to the chiropractor to see if I can get any back relief.

I was SO excited to get my purple mattress! I love getting to unwrap it and lay down and feel the difference so immediately! Within minutes of setting up my mattress I performed the egg test for myself and was amazed that the egg didn't break! (I did it multiple times, I was in awe)! Purple is AMAZING and has helped my bad back so much already! I wish I would have invested sooner!

For disclosure, I've only had my Purple mattress for 3 weeks. I used to have back pain from sleeping on my old mattress but my Original Purple mattress made it disappear after a week! My mattress isn't as squishy as the worn out model was at the mattress showroom which is why I'm giving it 3.5 stars (for now). With time I hope to be able to give it 5 stars after breaking it in.

My wife and I purchased the Purple mattress for a few reasons: the commercials, the size of it, the technology, and it was just time for something better than what we had. Everything from the production and shipping updates to the setup instructions was very professional. There were absolutely no surprises. We never had issues with sleep before, so we weren't looking to solve a sleeping problem, but even through changes in our lives (work hours, pregnancy, etc.), the mattress has been flawless. We've recommended it to everyone we know, because you can't beat the quality and price!

We hated our old mattress. Both my husband and I had lower back discomfort in the morning. We blamed out old, saggy mattress. One month into using our new Purple mattress, my husband feels better but not me. I'm fine when I go to sleep but I wake up with lower back discomfort during the night that prevents me from sleeping.

Very, very comfortable, and lives up to its advertising. The only thing is I've been sleeping on a 30 year old crappy mattress for so long that my back had to adjust to being supported again! For the first few days I woke up stiff and sore and thought "huh, gimmick". But after about a week, I've never slept or felt better. I think my back just had to get used to being properly aligned while sleeping. Now I'm like, "is it bedtime yet?" Definitely lives up to the hype. I'd definitely recommend!

I've been waiting over a year to purchase this mattress. I told my sister about this brand,she ordered it and loves it. That only made me want it more. In December I gave birth to my daughter and dislocated my hip during labor. After that it became unbearable to sleep in my bed. I had to start sleeping onthe couch. My husband was tired of sleeping alone after a couple of weeks and ordered the purple. Best decision on a mattress ever! The first couple of days we were unsure if we liked it or not. It felt to firm for me and my husband just didn't know what he didn't like about it. The first two day my back pain radiated to my neck but my hip pain was decreasing.by the third day nothing hurt anymore. I slept in a luxury hotel bed for two days and couldn't wait to get back to my Purple mattress. It has the quality of firm and soft at the same time. I can't feel my husband or kids moving around in my bed during the night. One is 3years old and the other 10 months old, that is basically like sleeping with two greedy space stealing monsters. Their movement just doesn't phase me as badly anymore. I love this mattress. I recommend it for nursing moms and co sleepers. Oh btwmy husband is 6'3" and 270lbs this mattress is firm enough to keep him from feeling like the bed in caving in around him. He loves it now as well and has been sleeping even harder than before.

I was bed bound shortly after I got my Purple. I expected to be hurting and sore after being in the mattress for days at a time, but I never felt sore, stiff, achy or uncomfortable while I laid around all day. The very first night with the Purple, I had minor lower back pain, but it's gone away and hasn't returned since. I am 5'1" 135ibs and the original Purple is working great for me, but it's very uncomfortable for my bigger roommates. I'm over the moon for this mattress, I slept on a pillowtop for 12 years thinking it was luxurious, but it was like sleeping in mud. I'm excited to go to sleep because of this bed.

I am a side sleeper and my first few nights were great. Then those were followed by some mornings where I woke up with my back and neck hurting. I think that was my back getting adjusted back to where it should have been. I have had my mattress about a month and my neck and back feel great now.

I'm not going to lie here. The shipping for your bed is garbage but the bed is the absolute best thing ever. I'm fine with waiting but I'm not okay with the damaged purple tube bag. Kind of a problem for me since I was going to reuse it. Onto the best bed ever! Okay so. I don't know about you but I absolutely loathe memory foam. It's too soft and on an air mattress, it's the only thing that makes your bed remotely comfortable. Yes I've been using an air mattress, for almost a year now. So to finally get a bed, muwha. Yes. This bed. I've used it before, my ex got one. Loved it. And that's a big reason why I had to save up and get my own. I can fall asleep faster on this bed than anything else. I suffer from inability to fall asleep, that type of insomnia. So I'm always tossing and turning, never comfortable. Well, with this bed I am. I absolutely adore it because I can sleep however I want and I'm in heaven. Plus paired with the Harmony pillow is like sleeping on a dream. I'd recommend this bed to anyone and everyone. Will it be for everyone? No, but I love it and will forever love it.
