I love my purple mattress. When my husband agreed to get one I ordered it immediately. Our pillow top mattress that was 3 years old if we were lucky, was so much more obviously uncomfortable after just a few nights on our purple. It shipped quickly and set up was super simple. It was heavy and a little awkward to manage so two people is way better when putting it where it belongs. I'm recommending it to everyone in the market for a mattress

I've had back and neck pain for the past 10+ years. We've tried different beds, pillows, with very little relief. The last bed we purchased was a memory foam that was very comfortable, but didn't help that much with my back/neck issues. My wife couldn't sleep on it at all for a few different reasons. So for the past couple of years we've slept in separate beds. When I discovered the Purple mattress, I showed it to my wife and with all of the glowing reviews about how so many people solved their back, neck, whatever pain, we decided to buy one. My wife was able to sleep on it the first night with relief of her issues. Me, not so much, I woke up in quite a bit of pain. I also read that sometimes you need to adapt to the mattress, so I was willing to stick it out for a while to see if it got better for me. Finally after about a month, my pain wasn't bad in the morning like it was when I first started sleeping on it. However, as far as helping with my back and neck issues, I don't think it's really done much to help. My wife is still very pleased with it. One thing it did do though is got us both to sleep in the same bed again. I'm hoping that as I sleep on it more and more it will help me get rid of the pain I've been struggling with. At least it isn't making it worse like when we first got it.

I was extremely interested in the plus. Tried a lot in stores, and thought the regular felt pretty good but just not enough support. So once the plus came out, I was like hey, this is it. So I ordered it. And absolutely hated it from day one :/. It's able to bottom out with larger individuals (200+, 6ft+, wide shoulders). I wake up daily in bad shoulder pain now and regret hauling my old king coil off a while ago. It really feels and supports like the regular edition with minimal differences. I feel like the price for the difference couldn't be justified sadly. And before support says anything - it's properly supported and I am using the specialty sheets purple sells. So it's nothing to do with anything but the bed sadly. Wish I coulda loved it, but I have to give this one a no go and a return.

I have had my Purple for 4 years now and it is honestly the best mattress I have ever owned. I have Fibromyalgia and it has always been difficult to get a comfortable night's sleep but that was before I had a Purple mattress. I love it and I can't wait to by the deluxe model!

We bought this queen size mattress for our oldest daughters room so that it could also double as a guest bed. Our daughter is very picky about having a soft bed to sleep on. I was a little worried that it would t be soft enough, but she loves it! I love it too. I take a nap on her bed a couple of times a week. I am definitely buying a purple mattress the next time I am in need of one.

I had been watching the commercials forever and was sold immediately on wanting one. But I had to wait several months before I could buy because reasons. The process of ordering and having the bed shipped was super easy. I had expected it to arrive several weeks after I had ordered (which was fine as I was in the process of moving into a family member's house after renovations would be complete). But it arrived within a week, and the PowerBase (I bundled the queen mattress and PowerBase) came within a few days later. Unfortunately it was almost 2 months before I could actually set the bed up and finally sleep on it. But I have to say the wait was WELL worth it! I've been sleeping on it for almost 2 weeks now and there's definitely a signifcant change in back pain and morning stiffness...as in it is GONE. I'm in my mid-30's so those kinds of aches and pains were relatively new to me, and probably would have only gotten worse had I stayed with a regular brand bed. I'm betting Purple has saved me from getting arthritis and other issues in the future. I LOVE Purple!

Bought the original Purple king size. Very comfortable until it collapsed where we sleep by the 12-month mark. At 18 months we gave up and bought a Purple 2. I have never experienced back pain this consistent and intense. It's going back and I'll never buy a Purple again.

Here's what up. The purple mattress is a great product but I haven't owned it for more than 3 weeks and Purple wants a review so it's a tad premature to say it's all good. It does take a bit of getting used to. I am indeed getting used to it's positive and slightly negative attributes. They are thus: I wake up and my hips definitely feel better, but the bed and it's partner the proprietary Purple mattress cover are not quite as quiet with motion transfer as advertised. Secondly, while I didn't buy the Purple mattress frame, (I put my mattress on my current box spring), the Purple mattress and cover do trap heat, not as bad as other foam covers and coil mattresses, but still enough to wake me up. Next, we have always used a queen-sized mattress. Our beautiful bed frame is queen sized and we don't want to change that (wink wink, because it forces us to sleep closer together) but with the Purple mattress, the sides are a little spongey and collapsible. Consequently while sleeping my husband has started shifting to the middle of the bed leaving me with a lot less room on my side of the bed. Maybe that's where the new Purple mattress with coils becomes the happy medium answer. I'm guessing it sags less on its perimeter when weighted and I'm tempted to try it but I'll take my time getting to know the original Purple mattress before deciding if it's worth it to invest $1100 more into Purple's brand new 3.0. From my email discussions, you can only return your mattress once. If I upgrade and don't like it as much. As the original, I am SOL.

This mattress is one of the best things that could have ever happened to me or my husband. The BEST thing about this mattress is that it does not transfer enough motion for me to register while asleep . My husband moves (used to move?) around A LOT at night. It would always wake me up, which resulted in frustrated remarks during the night and sleep deprivation during the day. I don't know if he still rolls around in his sleep - the mattress doesn't transfer motion (and he is a bigger/taller guy) - but I suspect he doesn't as much as he used to (which means he is getting a better night's sleep). As a bonus, it really is temperature neutral. Our other non-motion-transferring option was memory foam, but memory foam gets hot and good memory foam mattresses are really expensive. This mattress is affordable and comfortable temperature-wise. This mattress is also the dream combination of being both soft and firm. It is hard to explain how it feels, but it is like the commercials say (sinks where you put pressure and doesn't where you don't). It is not soft like a pillow-top - it's soft in a supportive way. My husband is picky about mattress firmness and generally he gravitates towards more firm mattresses. He has loved this from day one. ALSO, I almost forgot to write that his back used to hurt him a lot more (he's only 30 years old) and now I rarely hear him complain about his back. We both believe that Purple is to thank for this. Although I am joking that it "saved my marriage," I have no doubt that we argue a lot less and are happier people than we would have been otherwise if we didn't get this mattress. Do yourself a favor and get this mattress. With their free trial, you really have nothing to lose. I took a chance and it was one of the best purchases I have ever made!

My wife and I knew we needed to upgrade our sleep situation before she entered the third trimester of her pregnancy.
