First and foremost we absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE the mattress!!!!! We tell everyone about it! Have it for 2 years now! Unfortunately we can't say the same about the sheets. We received our first set and LOVED the soft feeling but they started getting holes in them. Contacted customer service and they were awesome and received another set! We were pumped! Except within a very short amount of time they too started getting little holes in them because the fabric is so thin :( wouldn't recommend the sheets. Such a bummer because while we give our great mattress reviews we have to tell others not to get the sheets :(

This is by far the BEST mattress I have ever slept on. I am a side sleeper and have shoulder pain. Since sleeping on the Purple mattress the pain is just a memory. It is cool, comfortable and firm yet very giving in just the right places. I can't recommend the mattress enough. I am orderimg the pillows soon!

I bought my King size Purple mattress nearly two years ago. First, some background information. We had a Tempurpedic before that and we would wake up with numbness and tingling in our shoulders, arms and hips. I'm 6'2" and 220 pounds. My wife is 5'0" and 105 pounds. We live in a suburb of Phoenix, Arizona. I am a side sleeper primarily and I struggle to fall asleep on my back unless I'm utterly exhausted (and even then I end up on my side eventually). My wife is what would probably be called a combo sleeper. She'll sleep on her side to spoon with me but she primarily falls asleep on her back and at times she sleeps on her stomach as well. When we got the Purple mattress, I immediately loved it. It's so cool to the touch (we both sleep relatively hot). My wife didn't love it right away but she didn't hate the Tempurpedic as much as I did either so she just went with it for me. About a year into having the mattress I started to have the same issues as the Tempurpedic. I had numbness and pain in my shoulders and hips. And my lower back would hurt. My wife started to have lower back pain too. So, we decided to spin the mattress around to see if that would help. And for a while, it did. But it's as though the mattress wears out or starts to sag easier under our weight. I do tend to sleep close to the side and sometimes my wife will curl up next to me, so maybe we are putting too much weight on one side. Today we finally bought another mattress after two years. If anything above sounds like you, I recommend you pass.

I was hoping for a cloud-like feel of sinking into the bed. The original Purple provides good support, but it's firmer than what I had hoped for. However, it sleeps very cool, which is great. Still trying to get used to it, but I might get a topper for more softness?

I fully enjoy the Purple. My wife and I are sleeping relatively well on it, too. The only reason I don't give it five stars is because I don't know if I liked my older mattress better when it was new... But y'know what - I think I didn't. I'm changing back. FIVE STARS!

We are so very happy with our mattress and base! I could not praise this company more, ever. We are a family of 5, 6...if you include our Pug, who by the way is also thrilled with his section of our bed! My point is, being a family if 5, our income is vital....but so are our bodies. We had aches and pains, and an old mattress, added to those complaints, our bedroom is upstairs, limiting our mattress purchases. So, when I started looking online as to what options we had, purchasing a mattress online was scary. Purple is a good price, yet quite a risk for us to pay that much and take a chance. But I researched the mattress....a lot. And after it arrived, I am 100% thrilled with the mattress. We love it, we sleep so well. Thank you purple for your awesome mattress!

I hyped myself up for the Purple when I saw all the videos. I ordered it and was anxious for it to come. Once it arrived it was easy to get out of the packaging. For me this bed was love at first sleep. I nearly fell asleep just testing it out. Ever since I have had nothing but comfortable nights sleeping. I'm 24 yrs old and always had lower back pains. I always thought it was cause my father has a bad back so I had the same gene, but since sleeping on this bed I haven't felt any pain in my back since day one. It is the most comfortable, and relaxing bed I have ever slept on!

From day 1 I didn't like this mattress. I kept reading that you need time to adjust, so that's what I did, gave it time. My husband seemed to like it more than me, so right at the 100 day mark we decided to keep it, it was summer and hot, and the cooling is the best feature. Fast forward 3 more months and we both are miserable with this mattress. I have woken up with horrible back pain and spasms and I am 100% convinced it is the bed. its very firm, and doesn't conform, therefore putting stress on my lower back. I'm a very active person, I play tennis, do yoga, walk, etc, so I'm healthy in that respect. My back doesn't bother me any other time except when I sleep! My chiropractor told me to get rid of it ASAP! I never adapted and it's too late to do anything about it, 2000 down the drain. My next mattress will have a year long trial for sure!

I absolutely love our new california king size purple mattress. It was so easy to put together and then to actually sleep in it was just amazing. I never thought a bed could be that comfy. The only thing I would say which I don't believe is in purples ability is to make sure you have base on or before you get mattress so you don't have to wait to put it up in anticipation. Other than that ordering bed was easy shipping was decently quick and product is super comfy. Great bed! I plan to order again!
