After reading all these great reviews, I was super excited for my bed to come in. Unfortunately both my husband and I are waking up with lower back pain. It started day one. We will wait it out at least the full month but I'm not optimistic that we will be keeping this mattress.

We bought the king size purple mattress it was delivered on time and the packaging was good. The mattress is extremely heavy I definitely recommend having someone help you take the mattress to your bedroom. My wife and I used the mattress for roughly 3 weeks and then returned it, and didn't care for it to much. If you like a firm mattress this is a mattress for you. However my wife and I like the pillowtop mattress and the purple mattress was just a little hard to get accustomed too

I've had the Queen Purple Mattress for 100 days and one week, and I really wanted to love it. It feels like it contours well, and is great to sit on. However, I rotate between sleeping positions and when I am on my back for most of the night, this thing KILLS my lower back. I am not a heavy guy - about 6', 160lbs; but there is just not enough support on the lower back. I tried to make all kinds of other excuses for why my lower back was aching in the morning, but eventually, I had to admit that it was the mattress. I tried to call in for a return and was denied because the 100 days had lapsed. BE WARNED, if you are 1 day past the 100 day trial period, you will NOT be allowed to return the mattress. My advice is to not purchase it in the first place if you ever sleep on your back. Another downside is that sitting on the edges of the mattress, you will notice a huge amount of give. If you ever find yourself sitting or laying near the edges of the mattress, you will feel like you're about to fall off - not great for amorous activities. I feel like all the 5-star reviews I saw everywhere were just put out there by the marketing team. I guess I'll have to sell mine on craigslist and take what I can get.

As if losing sleep on an uncomfortable memory foam mattress wasn't bad enough, I was up lots of nights researching how to get out of that hot, concave hole I'd fallen into. My husband and I made a bad buying decision called, ahem, tempur-pedic. I haven't slept on my purple mattress for a full 30 nights but I don't need to because the first night literally was a dream! I didn't move around hardly at all. I woke up feeling rested and NOT SORE! I also didn't constant throw my covers on and off because I was either sweltering to death or freezing. I highly recommend this posh purple gem! (FYI - we bought the regular purple in a California king and use the purple pillows.) Sweet dreams, Proud purple princess!

This is the first time I've ever bought a mattress, let alone own one that's new, but I can say without a doubt, that the purple mattress is amazing! My mom was so impressed with it that shes saving up to buy her own now haha! Thank you purple for helping with my back pains and sleepless nights!

It was great at first. Was just the right level of firm. Now it is too soft unfortunately. The more we slept on it, the more soft it became. We have been sleeping on it for less than 6 months. Was really excited to get this mattress and was optimistic after the first month of sleeping but now its impossible for me to sleep on my stomach.

I was not sure if I would like the Purple Mattress but took a chance and have loved it so far! I used to toss/turn and wake up a bunch because of it but now I tend to sleep more soundly and wake up less. I would definitely recommend the mattress. But I would pass on the sheets because they tend to get very hot!

This bed is by far the best bed I've ever slept on. I travel a lot for work and have slept on a ton of different beds. I love this one. I got the new purple with 3". I'm a power line worker so I get called out to work at all hours of the night, so any sleep I get, I cherish! It doesn't matter if I go to sleep at 9pm, 3am or noon. I'm always able to fall asleep fast and sleep hard on this bed. You have a life long customer!

I was a Sleep Number 35 and my husband was a 65. Lately he had been suffering from terrible shoulder pain and was contemplating surgery. After a week of sleeping on our Purple he is entirely pain free. I have a lower back injury and have had issues with hip pressure points and back pain and sciatica. The purple has improved my comfort so much I can actually sleep on my back if I want to. It is firm, but not hard. We both sleep blissfully. Best purchase ever!!

I am a side sleeper. The matteress I have been using was causing me shoulder pain. Both shoulders. During the day I was able to loosen up the shoulders for the pain to go away, only to wake up the next day in pain. Over time the pain never did go away. Then I saw you commercial. I knew I needed a new matteress, the purple looked promising. I bought the queen hoping some of its claims would hold some truth. To say I was skeptical is an understatement. Imagine my surprise when after just 5 hours sleep I woke with little to no shoulder pain. After a few weeks I am waking with no shoulder pain at all.
