This is the third purple mattress I've purchased this year and am planning on getting one for my sons room. Most of them I put right on the existing box spring but I did buy a purple bed frame for one of them and that's deal nice too. Love my PURPLE's!

I am not as fond of firm mattresses, however this mattress has been great for my husband who has horrible joint pain. He doesn't feel any pressure points on his hips, shoulders or head. The claim that it is cooling I have not found to be very accurate. I wake up mid sleep and in the morning sweating on my neck and back (if I am sleeping on my back). Little disappointed in that aspect, but overall happy with the mattress because of my husband being happy with the mattress.

The customer service was excellent ... but the mattress is just way too soft. I've had the mattress a year now - sadly, I'm out of warranty period so I can't return it - and my back / hips have never felt worse. I've had my back go "out" at least 3 times in the past year ... a problem I thought I had resolved, until I bought a Purple. I am going to get rid of / donate / burn / dispose of the thing somehow and go back to a traditional REAL mattress with some support. This mattress may be great for some people - my boyfriend likes it, as do many people posting here - but it's NOT FOR ME. If you prefer firm support, I highly recommend something else. Anything else.

My husband and I have bought a new mattress every couple of years for the past 12 years. After buying this mattress, we know we will be satisfied for years to come. I look forward to laying down because this mattress is so comfortable. My husband has chronic back pain and he never slept better. Don't get me wrong he doesn't sleep hard through out the night but its better than he has ever slept. It might cost a tad more but we are going to buy a purple mattress for each of our daughters. I love it!!!

My wife has been complaining of back pain.We bought 3 mattress previously, trying to fix her back pain.They were okay for me but didn't help her at all. After about 3 weeks of sleeping on the Purple mattress, the complaining stopped. We are both really happy to be have found the right mattress. I would recommend to friends and family.

So far so good! I'm an extremely picky sleeper, and I have trouble falling asleep at night because I can't get comfortable. I've tried Sleep Number, Serta, Memory Foam, nothing works... Until we bought a Purple. I lay down, and fall asleep fast, and sleep through the night. My wife gets up before I do in the morning and her moving around doesn't disturb me at all. This bed is far superior to anything I have slept on before. It's firm and soft at the same time... You literally feel so light, almost weightless... One Con, is that the mattress is heavy. Should put a warning on your site letting customers know that the mattress is over 100 lbs. Other than that, don't hesitate, don't think about it... If sleeping sucks in your life, buy one of these now and you'l notice the difference between this, and the rest of the garbage in the world.

I've had my new mattress for 3 -4 weeks. My old mattress sagged in the middle after only a few weeks, so I had to get a new one but didn't want the old kind of mattress especially now that they don't have 2 sides for flipping. So far, no more body aches and pains. So hope it lasts a long time. Thanks Purple. Also return of pillow was fairly easy, except my printer doesn't work any more so had my son print and ship. Got refund in good time.

I've been sleeping on my new bed for a few weeks and I can say I love it so far! It is very comfortable, feels great on my back and I'm sleeping well. My husband thinks he gets too hot on it so we are a little split on our liking it. Maybe I need to invest in the purple sheets? So far so good in my book.

I got this mattress after moving in with my boyfriend. Neither of us loved our mattresses and thought it would be better do buy one together. the price is on the high end for a mattress in the box type but we did our research and felt this was the right mattress for us. After a few months of use I can say we totally love. First off, the purple top layer keep you cool. Second. I am a side sleeper and while I like firm mattresses I need something that is not too firm or else it hurts, the purple fit the bill. While the mattress is pretty heavy, it is easy enough to move. And we liked the fact that the purple doesn't need to be taken out of the box and left for a few hours (like some foam mattresses), it was good to go right away.

I was experiencing neck cramps and back ache and was in desperate need of a new mattress.(I'm only 21) looked in many places but the prices and financing weren't too comfortable for me. but once I saw the review for the purple mattress, I figured why not and since then I've had no more neck pain or back pain. so far I've loved it!
