Our Purple mattress was worth every penny. My boyfriend had issues sleeping on our old mattress and he's had less back issues after sleeping on our Purple mattress. We've had it for almost two years now and it's the exact same as when we bought it. I highly recommend.

Every bed i've ever slept on has always given me body aches at some point despite how comfortable they are at first feel. I've struggled with tossing and turning my whole life. The purple mattress has the perfect softness i've always been looking for in a bed and does not give me aches at all. I don't even wake up during the night! I'm a combination sleeper and the purple mattress is so soft and comfortable that as soon as my body hits the mattress im dead until my alarm rings. I wake up dazed and confused sometimes because it feels as if i've overslept, but it's because i had a great night's sleep. I would 100% recommend the purple mattress. I was in desperate need of a new mattress. I did some comparison research between several companies and I decided to try out Purple. My wife and I are so glad we did. The mattress is very supportive but not rock hard, and the mattress doesn't result in you waking up hot and sweaty. It also doesn't take several days to breathe once you open it up. It is good to go, right out of the tube.

So first off let me tell you I am no stranger to comfortable mattresses. My last mattress was incredibly soft with it being a pillowtop/latex hybrid. Even so it really didn't have a lot of support and would leave me with back pains in the morning. About 3 months ago I started having troubles sleeping to the point I was maybe napping 1-2 hours a night. I started taking sleep aids which helped but I still would only get 3-4 hours and would feel even worse than getting 1-2 hours without the sleep aids. I ended up looking into getting a new mattress and have had my eye on Purple mattresses since the original. I was very happy to see they offer financing since the mattresses are very pricey. I ended up getting the Purple2 mattress in king size. They also had a pretty cool promotion going on at the time so I took advantage of that as well. The mattress came and I was excited to go to sleep that night! I finally was able to sleep the entire night! After having it for a month though I really wanted something a bit softer so I went with the upgrade to the Purple3. They exchanged the mattress for me with absolutely no hassles. When I got the Purple3 and laid on it I could tell there was much more cushion and it was way more soft. I've had the purple3 for a few weeks now and I'm absolutely in love with it! I don't even use my sleep aids anymore with the Purple3. I am a Purple Ambassador but these are my own words and 100% how I feel about this mattress. I have given multiple free testimonials on my social media accounts boasting about Purple for the simple fact that I can sleep again.

Well, I did have some back pain after the first night - however- it was because I slept with the top portion of my bed angled upward and I am a side sleeper. Once I flattened out, no pain or problems. The Purple mattress works great and is much more comfortable than the memory foam mattress we were using. Thanks Purple!

Husband LOVES it, says 100% of his back pain from sleeping is gone. I find this mattress to be significantly more painful than my "normal" mattress. The only two things that I have found help to reduce the pain are: 1) Buy the purple bed frame. With the bed frame, I have less than half the pain I had from sleeping on this mattress when it was on the floor. 2) Don't have any blankets (etc) in the bed with you. If it's just the fitted sheet between me and the mattress, I get some compression from the grid. If a blanket gets under my back in the night, I get no grid compression and wake up in extra pain! I'm not sure what's causing the difference in comfort besides weight being needed to compress the grid, but since I am not light weight (Husband is 240lbs, I am 145lbs) I would not have expected having a problem using the purple grid. Really wish I could say that I love this mattress too, but unfortunately I do not.

I tried several models of the mattress and ended up with a hybrid queen. I bought it mainly because I needed a lighter mattress to lift for changing sheets due to arthritis. After using it for about a year I find it less supportive than at first and the edge support not firm.

I'm so happy about this mattress I don't even know where to start. The one unique comment that I will share is -on every other bed I would have to prop myself up on my elbows so my front lady parts wouldn't smash down. As soon as we set up the bed and I laid down, I didn't even realize I was on my stomach. There was zero pressure and I was completely relaxed. No more sleeping on my elbows! I am able to finally sleep on my stomach. All night. No shifting around trying to get comfortable anymore!

It's just as amazing as it's nearly perfect 5-star rating would have you believe! The sheets and the mattress protector are definitely worth the purchase too - we tried sleeping on it with our old mattress protector, and it definitely impacted the comfort of the mattress. The sheets and the mattress protector that purple sells are extra stretchy, which makes them super comfy, AND it lets you take full advantage of the way the mattress gives and supports you in all the right ways!
