I have suffered from "poor mattress syndrome" for years. Waking up with hip pain, neck pain, and shoulder pain is just an absolute "pain" in the rear, which is the one place I don't have pain from sleeping.... My wife is 5 months pregnant and is been sleeping better now, with Purple, than she did before with our old mattress. My sleep has been about the same, it may have to do with my profession. But we are both happy with Purple. Maybe I should try a Purple pillow? I hear they are a pure, perpetually perfect, pleasing, performing product of a pillow. And they are purple. Thanks

I work construction and it seems lower back pain comes with the territory. When i lay on my Purple bed i get instant relief. No matter what position i sleep in, I have absolutely no pain. I never thought i could lay in a bed and be so comfortable. Worth every penny and more. Thanks Purple.

My wife and I own the regular Purple Mattress and she absolutely loves it. However, I am the one the is having the issues. I'm 5'4" and 125 LBS and she is 5'4" and 195 LBS. I have started having some big lower back issues that have started to draw pain down in to my legs. After doing a bit of talking the only thing we can come up with that this mattress is perfect for people who tend to be a little larger. We are going to have to sell it since we are out of the 100 day time period and go with another brand.

It's only been a week, but the bed is really comfortable. We got the New Purple 2 mattress and it came with the bamboo stretchy sheets. The mattress is really supportive, but provides relief for pressure points. We tried the egg test ourselves and it passed. The sheets feel nice but it's annoying how stretchy they are. When you try to pull them up they slingshot back to where they were. We put our other sheets on them and didn't notice any impact on comfort level of the mattress. Customer service leaves much to be desired. We're tax exempt and jumped through their hoops and they wouldn't sign our tax exemption paperwork to provide to our local tax office, nor would they refund our taxes. They insisted our receipt and email should be enough even though I provided them the documentation from the tax office stating that that those things weren't sufficient. I really want to knock a couple more stars off because of the customer service experience, but the mattress is a good product. The mattress was delivered after nearly 3 weeks and they arrived at the beginning of the 4 hour window provided. However, no one called a half hour before to let us know to be home. I would give the mattress four stars and the customer service one star.

We purchased the basic purple mattress 2 weeks ago. The first few nights was amazing then it got to where we were waking up to move or get comfortable again, but never woke up tired. After we have become use to this mattress it is amazing! We don't wake up tired and sore anymore but still do not want to get out of bed, but for comfortable reasons! I have woken up with my arm or arms numb for some reason but hoping it is more of a position thing.

I sooo wanted to love our Purple mattress. We decided to invest in a quality mattress after several years of suffering. Initially, it was wonderful but as months pasted, it wasn't so wonderful. My husband and I both now are having body and back aches. We have had the mattress for about 1.5 years. We have turned the mattress, which is no easy task, and still no relief. What a disappointment to spend money and still not have a comfortable nights rest! I have resorted to sleeping on a foam topper which defeats the purpose. Our next mattress will NOT be a purple one.

Litterally the best sleep in many years. Suffering from disability, since 1994, finding a bed that did not cause me more pain has been a relentless and Very expensive journey. From night one, I've slept so incredibly well on my purple matress! I have been unable to stay in any particular possition for more than a couple of hours and watched TV much more than I've slept. With my purple matress and pillows I wake feeling like I slept great, full of energy and all of my arthritic joints feel great! Now no pressure points are hurting me before I even start my day. I HIGHLY recommend your purple mattress! So far, it also works well on my adjustable bed unlike many others. Time will tell as to how long it holds up.

What a difference a good night sleep can make! After two weeks, I can say, we are sleeping on a Purple cloud, and couldn't be happier. Only one problem, my wife keeps taking the Purple pillow, so I have to sleep on our old pillow. But not for long! I'm ordering a second pillow!

I like the mattress I feel like it is worth the money I don't really ever sleep with eggs so I don't really care about the role egg test but I do find myself tossing and turning at night because I wake up and my back is hurting slightly I feel like it's the perfect mix between soft and hard but one of these days hopefully I'll find a mattress that I love not 100% sure that purple is that a mattress

Everything is great about the mattress except that we have been waking up with sore backs ever since we got it. I don't believe this is a flaw in the mattress just that we are not used to a firmer mattress. We have had it for about a month with the same results. It is well constructed and keeps a cooler temperature. We are not giving up just yet but we may have to return it.
