Seems this matters has begun to sag after 6+ months. I can't sleep in the bed with a second person without some seriously bad back pain. It's such a shame I'll have to throw this mattress out after such a short time. It was great at first, but over time it is really compromising sleep :(

My fiancé and I used to have a memory foam king mattress and we would literally wake up soaked in sweat because it got so hott. Not to mention the neck and back pain that accompanied the restless nights sleep. With our purple mattress our sleep quality have certainly improved, no more night sweats! We wake up feeling so much more rested as well! Win win. 10/10 and For those intimate times (when the kids are asleep) definitely more comfortable ;)

I've always had a bit of a rough back and my shape laid out on a mattress just seemed to be getting worse through the years so I decided to treat myself to something new, I saw this mattress advertised and decided to start looking at reviews. Almost immediately the cooling air flow design and comfort grid design got the attention of me and my partner, living in Florida the idea of a mattress that would help us stop sweating sounded amazing and I've got the say the experience is the same, not once have I had the gross cold puddle of sweat below me in this bed that I became accustomed to through the humid summers. The mattress by itself is amazing, it's feels firm but as you lay on it you can feel your pressure points start to sink a bit, the design really does seem to hold your body at the flat 180 while allowing the shoulder blades and rear to sink to a comfortable (yet firmly held) depth. It's definitely worth mentioning that the mattress is incredibly accommodating, I'm used to being rolled around the bed as my partner were to get in or out of the bed and it's become weird now waiting to feel them get into bed and next thing I know they're right next to me, the bed really really doesn't seem affected by any movements to it in other areas, I can say for certain (not that you should do this) it's very easy to just balance a soda can on the bed and get in or out without knocking it over. Long story short it's really comfortable and accommodating and we're yet to find a single complaint, it also just looks pretty and is delivered pretty and you're in for a good time!

Don't get me wrong - I LOVE this mattress. I sleep very comfortably and it has relieved many of my pressure points, I wake up not wanting to roll out of bed. However, since this is asking for an honest review, I would be remiss to not mention that I have noticed that the side I normally sleep on has become slightly more sunk in than the side I do not, and I've only had the mattress for about a month (I'm 175lbs, well below the weight threshold). It is still very comfortable and has no effect on my sleep, so I haven't called in about it, but if it does become more significantly drastic I'll have to ask to get it replaced. Also, my friend insisted we try the egg test, and it worked once, but the second time when I was sitting on the egg (only the Purple mattress protector on the bed) the egg cracked ): But those two things aside, it's a great mattress, I'll update this review if the sinking becomes an issue.

This is now the 3rd time I've purchased a Purple Mattress. 1st was for my mother about 2 years ago and then again last year for my grandfather (who had a broken back and arthritis). For me personally, I thought I was a Tempur-pedic-for-life. When it came time to purchase a new mattress for myself this year I did ALL of the research and watched ALL of the YouTube videos. I caved by advice of my mother and purchased a Purple. I have not regretted it once! Absolutely the most comfortable mattress.....yes, even more comfortable, and cooler, than a Tempurpedic. I didn't realize how much I was hurting before I began to sleep in a Purple. Please also consider purchasing the original Purple pillow (the others might be great too, I've just never purchased). These pillows are wonderful for long times of sitting such as working or school from home or even for a loved one in a wheelchair. Give the mattress a try, you have nothing to lose. Do it for yourself or purchase for a loved ones comfort. Great warranty and guarantee if needed, but I doubt you will.

After getting the purple mattress I cant believe the difference it has made in the way I sleep. My husband and I are both shall we say well upholtered people. My husband sleeps on his back ( lucky dog ) while I sleep on my side ( OMG ). My husband falls asleep on his back and doesnt move till he wakes up ( excluding his occational trips to the bathroom). I on the other hand have spent years flipping from side to side because of hip and shoulder pain (It would bring me to tears). I spent so many nights sleeping in the recliner that I thought that was where I would be sleeping for the rest of my life. I looked into duel recliners to replace the bed. Well not anymore I'm back in the bed my hips don't hurt, my shoulders don't hurt and my arms don't go numb. Gotta tell ya, its a big or should I say a well upholstered relief. Thank you, Mary T.

I like that my purple mattress is firm but soft. It is keeping its shape for now. I paired my mattress with the plantation foundation. I ordered the mattress protector and their basic sheets to get the full long lasting experience. No complaints about my set, I hope it holds up for my husband and I because we both are in the 200+ club.

Previously I was sweating it out in the Texas heat on a form conforming mattress. I couldn't sleep on my side and I would wake up suddenly because of poor circulation to one of my arms. I am a natural side sleeper. And none of the foam mattresses were going to get me there. Since the purple has come to roost in our home, I sleep more deeply, when I wake up (due to my light sleeper tendencies) I can return to deep sleep immediately. I am not trapped in a pool of my own sweat. I fall asleep in any unearthly position with no apparent issues. If anything the bed masks my poor body structure to the point that leaving it reminds me that entropy is hard at work. I would live in this bed if I could. Only about a month into purchasing the purple bed but it's been nothing but bliss sleeping on this mattress. My sore neck and back pain went away in 2 nights. I am an athlete and weight 205 so I needed a bed with great support and I have found it so far. This bed is like no other. Might feel firm the moment you lay on it but I assure you it's what your body needs. Customer for life now.

I purchased the purple mattress because my daughter has it and we were very comfortable sleeping on her bed. The mattress itself has been comfortable. However, a neighbor who also bought the purple mattress told me that purple was picking up their old mattress it not the box springs. I asked purple to pick up our old mattress and they said they don't do that. ??? Suggested I call the Salvation Army or 1-800 got junk. Why offer the service to some but not all?
