I have been having shoulder pain for a while so decided to change my mattress. Was in the market researching and gave the purple a shot since I have seen so many ads about the egg not breaking, etc. The purple bed got rid of my shoulder pain in 2 weeks and I honestly was so happy, but then after about 6 weeks in, I started having cramps in my arms when I wake up. FYI I'm a back sleeper, so apparently when I am on my back, while the rest of my body sinks into the mattress perfectly, my arms awkwardly just raises on the top of the mattress. Obviously I had to return it but overall it was a good try. If you're a side sleeper, then should definitely give it a try. Also, the return process was super easy and painless.

We purchased the original purple mattress when my wife was 5 months pregnant. At first we thought it took some getting used to, and it did, but was still not extremely comfortable as we had expected. Fast forward to 9 months pregnant and my wife was miserable in this bed. Being a side sleeper, I am also been unimpressed. This bed is probably okay if you are a back sleeper but is definitely not recommended for pregnant women or side sleepers. My wife is still not satisfied with this bed post-baby. Unfortunately we are now outside of the trial period and can't return it!

Best mattress we have bought so far. We have only had it for a short period of time so far but after much research, we are so glad we went with Purple. It is so cradling it's like sleeping on a cloud. I am also an absolute inferno when I sleep and it's helping with cooling me down immensely. My only critique is that it does not stop the transfer of movement very well.

I ordered the mattress 2 months ago and it's not here. Spoke to about 6 different people and they are obviously reading a script. Honesty goes a long way. If you are running behind in producing a high end mattress that customers pay a lot of money for, then just say that. I'll be upset but at least you are honest. I've gotten the run around, I've bren hung up on, I've been given new delivery dates and still the mattress is not here. I've even received an email asking how I'm enjoying my new mattress that still hasn't been delivered. I've been on a 3 way call between purple and mannor and they were both putting the blame on each other as far as where the mattress is. Very professional. At this point I'm over it, I don't know how good your mattress is but I'll probably have to cancel that order because for what I paid for, tempurpedic has something that's pretty much the same thing except for your polymer elastic thing. I'm beyond frustrated at companies who can't spent time to work out a system to create good customer service and follow up. Evertime I've had to call to find out why my mattress hasn't been delivered. This is ridiculous.

I had a great experience from the first time in invested in a mattress from purple. Though it wasn't as comfortable for my wife and I being it was much too firm for either of us, the customer service helped us every step of the way . Mark my words they care about the service thy give and it truly showed and I found that to be a 10 in the business world where customer service is a sad state of affairs. I have recommended this company to friends who also are interested in purchasing a mattress. For a new company, I applaud them all and truly wish them the best of luck.

I was sceptical but agreed at my husband's insistence because of the trial... surprise ...i'm keeping it!!! I'm a very picky bed girl and did not expect to like it at all but I have slept so good! This is the original! Can you imagine if I had upgraded??? Thanks purple you are the best!!!

I'm so glad we purchased a Purple. I love sleeping on it every night. I have lower back trouble and the mattress eases my pain every night. I used to not be able to turn in bed because it was too painful. I truly realized my love for our mattress when we spent a weekend away. Immediately, i had an awful nights sleep and was in pain throughout the night. So much so that I left to sleep on a couch. I missed my bed so much.

It has been a little over a month since we got our purple mattress. My wife and I love it! I am a side sleeper and my wife is a stomach sleeper. The quality of our sleep has improved dramatically! In making the decision for a new mattress I was most nervous about comfort in the side sleeping position, edge support, and sleeping hot. This mattress has been perfect for all three. We love it!

I fall asleep, and I do not wake up during the night. It is difficult to wake up in the morning since I am very comfortable in my bed. Just like the platform base, The Purple Mattress does not make any noise whatsoever. It is firm, yet soft and comfortable.

I have been having some issues finding 'the one.' I decided to try the Purple in February 2018. Honestly, it took me a few days to adapt to the feel of it. It is a firm mattress under a soft top 2". I did pretty well on it until the weather warmed up. I am a very hot sleeper. Even with the open grid, I would wake up with a warm spot under me. It is much cooler than a memory foam mattress, but not as cool as a straight up coil mattress with no pillow top. So, if you like a firmish foam mattress, give it a shot. If the coil mattress had been out before I tried this mattress, I probably would have tried that. Now, why 4 stars? I give Purple 4 stars because the return process was absolutely no hassle. If you think you might like it, what is there to lose?
