With my old bed (I do mean OLD) it would take an hour to get my back to loosen up enough to walk right in the morning and not wonder if I'd turn the wrong way way and cause serious pain for the rest of the day. After just 2 nights on my new Purple mattress there was no back pain when I woke up. The 9 inch height makes it noticeably harder to pull myself up off it in the morning but without the old pain it is something I'm getting used to it. I just have to stand up instead just of rolling forward like I did with the 12" pillow top I had. It does seem to sleep a touch warmer but well worth it for the full length support it gives me. The bamboo sheets, that came with it as s freebie deal when I bought it, though something I never would have bought for myself are outrageously comfortable but also may contribute to the extra warmth. I have an will recommend this mattress to others.

The mattress was to be shipped within 2-3 days and it took well over a week to hear any news from purple at all. Ultimately, the mattress came approximately 2.5 weeks after ordering. The cutter, to be used to unwrap the mattress, was at the opposite end of the zipper and therefore it was a big struggle to get the product out of the initial packaging (125-140lbs). For such an expensive product, I expected better customer service. As for the mattress, for the first two weeks we planned on returning it. Now, we've gotten used to it and it is decently comfortable. Not worth the hassle of returning.

Purchased the King Size mattress. It is SIMPLY AMAZING!!! We had our old mattress for 10 years and we were in desperate need of a new one, without spending a fortune. After lots of research we decided to go with the Purple Mattress. With this purchase we received the FREE king sheets. They are so soft and stretchy! We then decided to purchase the mattress cover. It too was soft and stretchy. I would highly recommend!!

I haven't quite decided if I want to keep it or not. A lot of the reviews talked it up so much and I would hope the price would be justified in the long run with longevity of the mattress but as far as comfort goes it is definitely more comfortable than my worn out mattress but it isn't the amazing experience that people were describing in the reviews. The tool that it comes with for opening is horrible and went straight into the mattress cover. Once it is open call all of your friends for help if you need to move it because it is incredibly heavy and awkward to move around. So floppy when trying to move it. It is more firm than soft which isn't want I was expecting at all, as far as comfort goes it hasn't made me say "Oh this is comfortable" yet but it hasn't made me think it was uncomfortable. I was expecting it to be softer though. I am going to give it more time before I make up my mind on it.

Me and my husband love this mattress and our animals do too! We don't want to get out of bed because it's so comfy. My husband says it's like laying on a cloud. It has helped my sleeping, which has been difficult prior to the purple matress due to back problems. I will never buy another brand of mattress again!

I like it softer. My husband likes it firm. He has no complaints. I wake up with my body needing to roll over and get the blood flowing again. I had hoped this would work for us both. We live in two homes so only have slept three nights so far on purple. Husband would give you excellent.

We took the plunge for a CalKing Purple Mattress after comparing to traditional, memory foam, and Casper mattresses (One of our sons bought both Purple and Casper to compare, and now the Casper is in the guest room while the Purple's in the master bedroom. Another son beat us to getting his Queen Purple based on his brother's recommendation.). What we learned is that there is no comparison - The Purple Mattress wins, heads down! Simply the most comfortable mattress we've ever owned, and fun to set up, too. Don't lose any more sleep trying to decide - buy a Purple today!

The Purple mattress seems to be very well made, but unfortunately we did not find that it was right for us. The customer service at Purple was great, however, and the return/refund process was smooth and simple. Buying a Purple mattress really is risk-free.

I was using an incredibly crappy spring mattress before investing in my first real mattress, which has been my new Purple. I suffer from chronic neck pain and migraines, and this has helped me sleep through the night and wake up with less pain - one month in and I'm already in love. I also sleep hot and this thing keeps me totally cool. I cannot say enough about this mattress and am so satisfied!

Firstly to let you know... I am a blue collar worker that has recently taken my father into my home because I don't want him to go to a Nursing home. He has a lot of trouble with pain in his back and hips. And after seeing a lot of the Purple adds, and doing a little research on this mattress? I knew it would be the best thing for him. Knowing that there are a lot more underlying problems internally with him! I thought this would be a very good first step to making him as comfortable as possible, getting him a better night sleep than he had gotten in the past. That would promote a better day the next day with activities. And it definitely has. The reason I titled this review the way I did? Is simply because it is true. Literally, the night before this Purple mattress arrived. I heard him up and about.. Keeping me up worrying about him. The day after it arrived and we replaced his old mattress with this new one? I didn't hear anything that night. So? Not only did he get the rest that he deserves... I also wasn't woken up wondering why he was up at odd hours. I noticed right away when I got up for work the day after he slept on it, that... He was smiling, had coffee ready for the both of us, and was walking around the house with a little more "Pride, in his Stride". This was and probably always will be the very best investment I have ever made. Thank you, Purple for making my Dad feel better. And in turn! Making me feel better. A loving son and customer.
