Very comfortable mattress! Sleeps cooler, I was able to raise my bedroom temp from 68 up to 74 degrees while sleeping. For the past 20 years, I would wake to turn every two hours on my previous mattresses. I sleep soundly on the Purple mattress for as long as six hours at a time without waking to turn! Amazing! I am very happy!

We had a Nectar mattress for over 6 months and it just wasn't right. Felt like we were stick in the mud and always hot. The Purple mattress sleeps cool, is much more comfortable and all our aches and pains are gone. We highly recommend this mattress.

We like our purple mattress. It is indeed comfortable. I think all the hype surrounding it gave us really high expectations and it was hard for it to live up to those. I don't get in bed and think "wow this is amazing!" like I anticipated watching the commercials. I worry about how hard it will be to move for cleaning purposes. It is very heavy with no handles. I loved having a mattress shipped without having to deal with the pushy salespeople in the store.

My husband and I were on the search for the perfect mattress. We read the great Purple reviews, ordered a king size mattress and desperately wanted to love it. While Purple's mattress wasn't terrible, we found it to be just okay for us. We are both side sleepers, but didn't really feel the cradle effect (my husband is 250 lbs and I am about 170 lbs). We decided to return it were really impressed with Purple's customer service - they don't call them "Returns Gurus" for nothing. The process was pain and guilt free. We ended up finding a charity that was thrilled to pick up the mattress and the refund was processed a day later. Thank you for letting us try your product, Purple,and just sorry it didn't work out!

My wife an I have always had back pain when waking up in the mornings. Conventional mattresses are too stiff, memory phone mattresses are too "giving" and make things worse. For the last several years we have had a Sleep Number bed and it was better but still had problems. We are only one month into our Purple mattress but it looks like this has solved the issue. Both of us are getting great nights sleep and waking up relatively pain free. We are both side sleepers and it accommodates that well. There is only one minor thing that keeps me from giving 5 stars. The recommendation for this mattress is use "stretchy" sheets. I have one set of Purple sheets and one set from Sheetz. It is minor but I just don't like the feel of sleeping on stretchy sheets and wish I could use traditional high thread count cotton sheets. But it is a sacrifice I can make. So the point of that last comment is, if you do not like the feel of a satin type sheet (which is what I equate the stretchy sheets to) then take note of this requirement.

I've told all my friends and family about this mattress. I love it and my wife loves it. I highly recommend it. Best money I've ever spent. I will say once you cut the purple tube. The race is on to get the plastic off the mattress as it expands ahaha

It takes some getting used to. It supports the body and forces good posture. But if you're used to a soft bed or a sagging bed prepare to need new pillows. My wife hated it at first. She likes soft beds, but as her back began to align properly and soreness started to fade, she finally accepted the bed. Our bed was awful with a horrid sag. She liked the pillow top and liked sinking into the bed a little. I hated it, woke up in pain all the time. This bed has helped me out a bunch. I sleep better than ever, I don't wake up hurting anymore (unless, you count my awful old pillow that was replaced), I also wake up earlier and refreshed. My wife finally sleeps throughout the night and doesn't hurt. I'll be honest, it takes some getting used to. Its like laying on a pretty firm bed, but it contours your body slightly making your back feel aligned. I do wish my body did sink a little into the mattress allowing me to fall asleep faster, but when I do sleep, its good. Is it the most comfortable mattress? Not in my opinion, but I can definitely say, I'm not a fan of my ergonomic office chair either. Proper support isn't always cushy, sometimes its a lifestyle change. Is it uncomfortable? Far from it. Ever laid on the floor and thought why does this feel good on my back? Maybe because your back needs alignment or correction? I don't feel that need nowhere near as much anymore. I could probably stop feeling that way all together if I could stop slouching in my chair. Am I going to keep my mattress? You bet your sweet tush I am. Cushy is nice for falling asleep, but I'm tired of waking up hurting, listening to springs when I roll over at night, and shaking my wife awake as I try to escape for a glass of water. This bed is great at not passing along motion, being silent, and just being comfortable after working hard labor or wanting some support on my back.

I was reluctant to try a non-spring mattress for years. This is the first time I did, and I'm so glad I waited for Purple. I had spent six weeks with incredibly painful back spasms that required steroid injections and lots of Doctor and chiropractor visits. Getting out of bed was the most painful part of my day. Now I'm sleeping comfortably and have been able to resume my active lifestyle. I love the delicate support Purple provides and will be buying more mattresses for the rest of the beds in my home. Never going back to springs again. I'm a Purple girl.

My wife and I pretty much purchased an all Purple set mattress, pillows, sheets, and powerbase. Let me just say our purchase was one of the best decisions we've ever made. I have sleep and back problems that have been a burden on my sleep for years. Since we've had purple I sleep better with no aches and pains. I'm very hot natured and used to have to sleep with no sheets , with the Purple mattress and sheets I stay cool and bundled up all night. The pillow is awkwardly weighted and yes the mattress slides a little when using the powerbase, but I wouldn't consider those problems. The pillows perfectly supports your head and neck no matter how you sleep. The powerbase makes reading a book or watching TV in bed more enjoyable and convenient. Plus the vibration is just right and zero-g is pretty cool. I would recommend Purple to everyone, I can't stop telling people how amazing Purple is!

We bought the mattress based on the reviews and the advertisements. I wish we had the same experience but we didn't. Within a month there were already permanent body MARK'S that wouldn't go away and within 3 months the valleys were so deep we would get stuck and couldn't move around. Since we just went over the 100 day mark purple wouldn't give our money back (we didn't set up for a month after we got it.) they did send us a replacement which we are going to sell. Sorry to say we aren't going to use the second one. I wouldn't recommend this mattress.
