This is the best mattress I've ever owned. With my old pillow top I would wake several times during the night and need to roll over due to pain, that is not the case with the purple I now can sleep in one position through the night without any pain. I've already told several friends and family they should buy one.

My daughter (14 years) suggested we try this mattress after seeing advertised on YouTube. We had just moved and were in need of mattresses. I had no reason not to try. We ordered two of them (for both of my kids). The ordering process was simple. The delivery was way faster than expected. Both of my girls LOVE their beds. My younger daughter has struggled with neck pain for over a year. She has been pain free after sleeping on this mattress and pillow for about a week. I have no complaints and would order again.

The mattress is very thin so if you are heavier, this mattress won't work. It's very comfortable for the thickness that it is, just not thick enough to provide enough cushion so that heavier sleepers don't feel the frame through the mattress. I'm sure it would be great for a moderate sized person, my partner and I are 250lbs and 325lbs for reference. It doesn't seem to retain a lot of heat which is nice. Order experience - order placed on 7/3 and arrived 7/29 with no emails regarding delayed ship time. Customer service was BEYOND nice and helpful with updates, just frustrating that I had to call to inquire about it. Headboard and frame didn't ship together as they were allegedly supposed to, so I also waited a little longer for the frame but still even longer for the mattress. Every item gets a separate in-home trial and that was not advertised enough before check-out. We are returning this mattress and upgrading so hopefully Purple will work for us if we find the right bed!

My husband and I have been sleeping on a regular, pillow top, spring queen size mattress for the first few months of our marriage. Decided to upgrade to a king and had SO MANY friends/family recommend a Purple mattress. We did research on the different "kinds", basic, hybrid, etc. we both are "gym" goers and didn't think we'd need the extra support of the springs that's in the hybrid purple mattress. We decided on the basic purple mattress and it has been a dream so far! You can feel it forming to your body curves when you lay down (on back, side or stomach!). It's easy to sit on the side of the bed to put socks or shoes on without it compressing down. You can also feel a "cooling" effect from the mattress, which is awesome if you're a "hot sleeper". We absolutely love this mattress and are very happy with our decision!

I have owned my purple for over 30 days and there is no looking back. My back feels amazing and waking up finally feeling like I got rest. I will say I was nervous purchasing a bed that marks 6-6.5 out of 10 for firmness but the top purple layer makes a world of a difference. My only complaint would be that my previously purchased pillows do not suite this bed as well as I thought they would have.

Was a little nervous buying without testing it but knowing i could return it without issue was a big selling point. Mattress is much cooler then memory foam. My wife and I are both less then 200 pounds, and we really like the feel of the mattress. Not too hard, not too soft

Took delivery of this mattress November 18th, 2021. Had the original purple for several years and loved it but lost it due to house fire. I would give the original purple 5 stars. We decided to replace with another Purple but went with a more upscale version. I weigh approximately 150# and my wife weighs less. I don't really have a dedicated sleeping position and roll back and forth during the night. I wake up with my back hurting beneath my shoulder blades each morning. My wife is a side sleeper and says her hips fall asleep. This mattress has a thicker gel than the original purple but it doesn't feel as supportive. Look at the dimensions of the purple 3 and take note that the gel doesn't cover that area. There's a foam layer that runs the perimeter of the mattress that's approximately 3" thick. I understand the intent of this layer but it forces you to sleep towards the center of the bed or you'll find yourself on two separate sleeping surfaces. It's uncomfortable to me and I suspect this is what's leading to my back pain. We plan on getting rid of this one and going back with the original purple.

I love it even more than I thought I would. It's the perfect support through and through. I sleep in all positions a have painful hips - this has helped. I find myself using it more than my couch just because it's too comfy to be sitting there unattended - I'm a little obsessed :) The sheets are also silky smooth. And of course, as a packaging designer - the unboxing experience of the mattress and sheets felt premium and easy.

My husband and I have gone though 2 beds in the last couple of years. One of them was a Tempurpedic that developed body trenches within months of owning it. The Purple def lives up to its claims of support where you need it most. After owning the purple for about 3 months, my hip stopped hurting and I'm waking up feeling more well rested then ever. Now I'm just waiting for those Purple pillows to launch! They've def found a fan for life!

It's a nice product, well made and customer service is decent. I have had it a few weeks now and thought my body would adjust with no luck. The wife and I both agree we expected so much more from the hype. We still wake in my middle or the night hot and I wake up worst every morning more sore that my old mattress. Bought the protector, sheets and both of us a pillow. The wife and I are really not sold on this type of mattress. We will give it a few more week and we will see how it goes.
